Realizing that there are threats to the world that not even 6 mares who tend to have more tea parties than magical adventures can handle, Princess Celestia has created a task force of the most powerful and insane beings in Equestria to protect the world. The spinoff from the much more popular 'The Many Secret Origins of Scootaloo' and the fic that is TOTALLY not the reason the Faith and Doubt sequel keeps getting pushed back, THE GOD SQUAD: EQUESTRIA'S MIGHTIEST IMMORTALS continues the insane humor and outrageous adventures of everyone's favorite group of insane deities.

You may think I'm talking to myself. I'm not... I can assure you that I'm speaking to someone.

I just wish I wasn't.

Railways are a dangerous and deadly workplace of steel on steel. The machines used on them are unforgiving and demand respect if injury is to be prevented. Often times it is the ones who treat their engines as living things that make it through their career without incident. But when the owners of a railway loose that respect, it can rub off on the employees, and that can easily lead to tragedy. Because of this, a number of stallions created a group that would eventually spread around Equestrian, known as The Guild of Equestrian Railwaymen. Their main goal was to make keep that respect railways deserve alive.
This is a story of when that respect is still ungiven, and an owner doesn't learn from their mistakes.

Who is Red Dusk?

Red Dusk was a former "knight" of Nightmare Moon, actually a synthetic pony. His upbringing was an unholy combination of regular summoning magic and dark magic, to create a pony who would be stronger and sharper then the average soldier, and be the perfect weapon to attack Celestia with from the moon. His loyalty to the Princess of the Night was unparalleled, being the night's wrath, striking fear into the hearts of ponies. That is, for five hundred years, then his last year, his five hundred and first year was the end of his destructive reign, trapped in a shell of crystal until his uncovering shortly after Luna's release from the moon. Inside, he had thought over his life and by the time he was uncovered, 'bowed' to the will of both the Princess of the Day and the Princess of the Night. Thus begins his story.

On the continent of Chreathail, there exists a new pony nation. Formed on the dying embers of the three pony tribes, the country is unified in Harmony and guided through Chaos by its seeming immortal alicorn princesses.

After their success in defeating Discord with the Elements of Harmony, Equestria has had the luxury of nearly a century of peace and prosperity. Quickly the equestrians set to work, becoming the largest exporter of food and craft goods. With the power of Harmony, pony-kind seemed wholly unchallengeable. Yet, just beneath the skin of the seemingly perfect kingdom, there exists a dark secret. A single generation of peace cannot wholly erase the ideas of old. Prejudice and thoughts superiority are not so easily extinguished, yet they lie dormant, biding their time.

With the unexpected appearance of a foreign being, everything is about to change. The world will be thrown back into Chaos, hard choices will have to be made. Tragedy will strike, and the Royal Sisters will have to decide if Harmony can truly persist in a world so unexpectedly cruel.

This story is based only about 100~ years after the original imprisonment of discord, well before nightmare moon ever happened.

Sex, violence, and tragedy tags are mainly for things that will happen later on in the story. It won’t have any real impact on most of the beginning of the story, however, this series overall will get dark.

When the girls discovered magic at Camp Everfree, Sunset Shimmer was the first to embrace it. But now, the little bit of magic she got is just reminding her of how much she's lost. And as people get more and more desperate, you can never tell when they're going to do something incredibly stupid.

Twilight Sparkle has always been frustrated with Discord. His ability to do anything, with no more effort than a snap of his claw. It shouldn't be possible. His power had to come from somewhere.
Then, one day, Twilight lets slip how she feels. Surprisingly Discord agrees to explain it to her. To give her the secret to all of his powers. If she's willing to pay the price that knowing it all will bring.

When Twilight loses control of her magic, she finds herself in the realm of the the eternally damned, Tartarus. In order to survive she is forced to learn and change. However, when Twilight finally escaped from Tartarus, how will Equestria deal with a Twilight who has been forged in hellfire?

Author's Note: I want to point out that the Dark and Gore tags are not all consuming. They are there only by necessity. There are going to be some dark material in here, but nothing grim.

On the same note, Twilight is the only anthro in the story, and there is an in-story reason for it, so don't let that big nasty Anthro tag scare you.

One final thing. It has been some time since I've done any real work on this story. To make clear how long, this portion of the author note was added July 5th, 2019. This story is currently sitting in that little area between "Hiatus" and "Cancelled". Time will tell if I revitalize it.

The World of Tartarus Forged.

I was just a normal boy when it all started, I went to school, had a girlfriend, and a loving family. Then it all changed when my grandfather pasted to me his prized top hat.

Normal when you receive a top hat it is in bad shape from yeas of use, not this one. sure it showed sines of rust on the brim, but it looked like a blue top hat made of metal.
Oh, if only that was true.
The next morning I find myself in another world where girls dive tanks on a huge ship, with each ship fighting each other.
After some deliberation, I decided to join their school and become a tanker too, only I happened upon an old train. Only; it was not just an old train, not that I knew at the time.
Even after I volunteered to haul all their equipment back to the ship, even when the bridge i was on collapsed and I plummeted into an old mine. Only when I left the mine did I realize how special the train, my hat, my grandfather were. How special I was. How I would have to fill his shoes in this new world... and how lost I was.
