Celestia has always been a people pony. She especially enjoys it when she has the opportunity to look after and care for younger ones. And, as a mare of great age and wisdom, she has a derth of patience and saintly virtue to handle the nonsense that comes with the territory.

Unfortunately, when Scootaloo decides that concocting a series of increasingly intrusive pranks is clearly the best way to get her cutie mark, Celestia's patience will be put to the test.

The best part of the holidays is spending it with friends and family. Thoughtful gifts are spread around and everyone deserves a good time with their loved ones. Everyone prepares for the holidays in advance. Everyone except for a certain air-headed athlete. Rainbow Dash forgot to get a gift for one of her best friends, Applejack. Now, in a desperate attempt to save face, Dash has to find a way to get a gift for her friend. She will have to get a little creative~

Hello, everyone~! I hope you're all having happy holidays! This story I've made is a Christmas gift for my good friend, Mon! She loves Rainbow Dash and I figured it would be neat to make a short little adventure involving the character~ I hope everyone enjoys this fic and happy holidays! Merry Christmas, Mon!

For a thousand years, the alicorns of House Solaris have ruled over the ponies of Equestria with wisdom and care. Now, in the present, Twilight, youngest daughter of the Queen, goes about her day as befits a Princess of the Realm.

Young inventor Twilight Sparkle has always been a creative mare, and that creativity is about to pay off in a world where she’ll uncover the existence of pegasi and unicorns, tribes long forgotten in Equestrian history, and ends up having to deal with the return of the legends of Nightmare Moon and Daybreaker.

Note: I know that a few people have done this, so I wanted to make a story of my own for if we’d gotten the Mane 6 as we saw them in the Gen 5 concept art and what I would do. Know that I did mix and match some concept art designs based on what I felt would work, and that I had to come up with Nightmare Moon and Daybreaker’s designs on my own.

Also, a surprise character will be joining the Mane 6 (making it rather the Mane 7). You’ll know who it is soon enough.

Frederic Horseshoepin is Equestria's most talented pianist. Music is his life. But...He may not feel like playing anymore.

Luckily for him, Pinkie is the princess of playing. Maybe a few notes could change their lives forever.

Sunset Shimmer's life is surrounded by mysteries. They are her job, and her personal life is riddled with them. She works with Rarity as PIs at their very own Shimmering Diamond Detective Agency, and missing person cases are their second most common commission, just behind cheating spouse/whatever. Coming into the office one day, Rarity sticks Sunset with another one of these, but this turns out to be more than a simple disappearance. As answers are revealed, more questions arise, and Sunset has to wonder, what or who's trying to kill her?

“You’re 15, and look every darn day of it too.” AJ flicks me again, and now I’m about to chomp her fingers off. “Plus I don’t like that type of stuff anyway. When my cousins are over it might as well be a whole carnival, and it’s the worst damn time.” She gets all weird again. She does this thing where she bites her lip when she’s trying to hide something. AJ can’t lie, she’s like cursed, I swear to God, so when there’s something she can’t share, she has to stop herself otherwise the truth will come tumbling out like my drunk uncle from a port-a-potty. “I pray every night they ain’t ever gonna come back.” 

Rainbow Dash is by far living the worst life ever. Her parents are crazy, her school is annoying, and she can’t run track until next year. At least she has AJ, her secret boyfriend, and a concert on Friday to look forward to. 

Okay, so her life could totally be worse.

When you spend your entire life with one person, it can become difficult and even frightening to imagine what things might be like without them. For the ponies of Equestria however, they have the benefit of mortal existence to ease such worries.

This is not the case for a young Princess Celestia. She has lived nearly every waking moment with her sister Luna until tonight. Now, she must face the reality of going on without her by her side, and come to terms with the part she had to play in her sibling's fall from grace.

Twilight Sparkle is glad to have found a new place in life with her best friends. Really, there's nothing she appreciates more!

But... saving the world or school with them on a semi-regular basis is hard work, and some members of the group don't make daily hangouts any less taxing.

In short? Twilight is exhausted. She could really need a break and a few minutes to catch her breath. Just some time alone, some peace and quiet.

Or... does she?
