This is a great story! Plenty of room for more world building. I can see this will leave a lot of room for creativity.

Of course, one of them will go batshit insane before long and require Robert's Rebellion to fix the mess. Luna would be the obvious choice for the Mad King, but that's too easy.

So it's either Twilight or Cadance once Celestia passes on.
