Winter has covered Canterlot with a blanket of white snow. It was the time families saw each other and enjoy each other's company, friends spent time together laughing and drinking hot beverages.

It was also the time Fluttershy choose to take a stroll in a park. Just her and her thoughts.

That's, obviously, until she meets someone she didn't quite expect, and the afternoon takes a turn she did not saw coming.

Rainbow Rain, daughter of Rainbow Dash and Soarin Skies, finds herself in a tough spot when she realizes she can't show up at her presentation with her mane as she usually haves it.

However, Aunt Rarity is out of town, and her mother has never been actually good with manestyles. Rainbow Dash can handle simple ponytails and braids, but the complicated manestyle Rainy needs it's out of her league —like, totally!

Desesperate because the play's happening in an hour, Rainy finds the help she seeks in the last pony she expected it of: noneless than her father, Soarin Skies.

A very special, important, valuable (oh they're all the same thing) day, where the family gathers around to celebrate the history that had them on this very Sweet Apple Acres. Aka, the Apple Fest.

Applejack, after a day of preparing for the feast coming up, goes to have a simple chat with Big Mac. Just turns out to be more than that...

After her innocence being proved thanks to Rarity's investigation, Dash still feels angry at the Wonderbolts blaming her. Why didn't Soarin or at least Fleetfoot believe her? But is staying angry worth it? Will she forgive Soarin? Will I ever stop asking questions?
