When a freak science experiment at Twilight's library zaps Rainbow Dash with temporary aphasia, it's up to Applejack to get her a cure.

Applejack has had it up to here with Rainbow Dash's sleepflying. Rarity attempts to lend a hoof.

Applejack stumbles upon Rarity late one night inside Twilight Sparkle's castle.

After a party to welcome the season of Nightmare Night, the library becomes the target of strange activity. Minor annoyances prelude greater events, and soon Twilight and Spike each take action to handle the situation in their own way. All the while, questions hang in the air. What lingers amongst the shelves? What watches from the corners? What stands just behind you only to disappear when you turn to look?

What is in the library, and what does it want?

When Rainbow Dash is tasked to help Fluttershy trust others more, she finds herself struggling to help her friend understand the lessons. She finds herself struggling even more, however, when her life depends on Fluttershy coming to terms with them.

This story is a sequel to How's This For A Stinging Sensation?

Princess Celestia encounters a cockroach after making her breakfast. Naturally, she handles the situation like most ponies would.
