Crispin Apple and Cortland Belle have never met. Crispin is the son of a world famous designer, the beautiful, talented, Rarity Belle. Cortland, the son of Canterlot's number one apple farmer and distributer, Applejack Apple.

When the boys meet at Camp Everfree the year they turn 14, their worlds will turn upside down.

Why do they look so much alike?

What about the picture that clearly shows their mother's in the Camp's mess hall? The picture that says they were here, together, in 2016.

Rarity suffers from panic attacks from time to time. They leave her exhausted and stressed, and she never deals with them the same way. Tonight... She goes for a walk.

Written as a Christmas fic for Silver Mint, featuring her OTP and a prompt for something romantic and slice of lifey. It went a little darker, but nothing at all too serious. Enjoy!

She now has all of these things, in the best way. She’s the special somepony of the most royal royal of all. Her longtime friend and Sovereign of Equestria, Princess Twilight Sparkle.

Also in my Equestria there is a magic-based way for mare-mare couples to have biological children. The mechanism isn’t important, and it’s not commented upon because it’s very normalized. Just so you know, in case such things confuse you.

A day together on the farm with Applejack is all that Rarity could ask for, and more. But good-natured teasing can go too far, and words can bring painful memories to the surface. Rarity struggles not only to console Applejack, but to help the broken mare overcome a past full of shame and regret.

Well, sorta.

It took Twilight a long time to build up the courage to ask Applejack out, but she finally did it. What she hadn't prepared for was the two of them triggering an Attunement, an incredibly rare magical reaction that unicorn fillies call 'True Love's Kiss.'

And the date was going so well, too.

(Takes place in late season 7, after Once Upon a Zeppelin but before Shadow Play)

Twilight's plans for a sleepover are tested when most of her guests have to cancel, but Applejack convinces her they can have fun together with just each other's company. Twilight's not used to giving up control, but sometimes going with the flow can open up a world of new experiences.
