A cup of coffee tends to help Octavia deal with the stress of mornings... however, during this particular cup, she recalls a moment from her youth... where she was saved from a group of monsters. But the one who saved her was also a monster... a monster, known as a vampire.

The war against Nightmare Moon ended a thousand years ago with Celestia sacrificing her life to banish her sister. The legacy of war remains, however. Most of natural pony magic was lost in the battles. History and landmarks were destroyed, and the decimated survivors had to build the pony society anew. And during the night, vamponies, wereponies and other monsters cursed by the Nightmare prey upon ponies under cover of dark, unknown and unseen.
Unknown, because the Apple clan retains the strength of the Earth ponies in a secret, deadly battle against the beasts.
Follow the story of one Applejack, as she starts her high school in the small town of Ponyville, and tries to balance her life as a Slayer with a life of a normal teenager. What will happen when her new friends start to uncover her secrets?

Will contain plot elements from BtVS the series, and has an alternate setting of Equestria. All the mane six will end up as the main players, but it will take some time. The main cast have lived different lives from their canon counterparts, and as such are slightly (or more) different from their canon personalities, but I'll try to keep them in character.

I don't intend to make the story gory.

On the outside, it's your everyday museum albeit one whose proprietor is a bit of an eccentric recluse, but when Octavia Melody enters through the doors of Golden Oak Manor her life or now un-life will never be the same. For the Cellist discovers that the famous history museum is actually the residence of a small coven of Vampires, a coven that a series of unfortunate circumstances has led her to become a part of.

Now a newly sired fledgling of the near ancient vampire Twila Sparks, Octavia must struggle to come to grips with the fact that she is now something she only thought existed in trashy romance novels as well as the incredibly powerful blood lust that comes with it.

Join vampires Twila and Vincenza "Vinyl" Scratch as they help Octavia through the trials and tribulations of everyday life as a member of the Undead such as drinking blood, adjusting to a nocturnal sleep schedule, and of course the proper application of shade gel.

When all six of the ponies and the Cutie Mark Crusaders go on a camping trip Rainbow Dash tells a story of werewolf's in the woods, and she says it's just an old pony tale, until the Cutie Mark Crusaders run into one while looking for firewood, but when Applejack jumps in to save them she takes the bite. What will happen when the others find out? Will they like her anymore? How will she live like this?

Being a vampire sucks. Being a vampire high school student sucks more.

Fluttershy used to be normal before that Fall Formal a year ago. Now she's coming to grips that sunlight hurts in large doses without a mountain of sunscreen. Though some of the more well known weaknesses were made up for dramatic effect. Actually vampirism isn't that bad once you get used to it- and most of the time it's easy to stay hidden.

Except that there has been a few suspect drainings of blood lately near Canterlot High and Fluttershy is tasked to find out just what is going on. Now if only she could balance her time better.

The spell worked flawlessly as the pink band wrapped itself around Flutterbat. In a bright flash, the fruit vampire pony was gone.

As well as Fluttershy.

Hopefully she didn't end up getting into any trouble.
