Something is eating at Rainbow Dash. Ever since the Royal Wedding in Canterlot, she's been quiet, aloof, and distracted. After a long day's work of shaping the rainclouds over Ponyville, she can no longer keep the truth bottled in. The only problem is, as a picnic with her close friends looms over the horizon, she's at a loss to find a pony she can comfortably share her thoughts with.

From the moment she heard about them, Princess Rainbow Dash always wanted to be a pirate, of course, Pirates were the most hated criminals in Equestria, and Princess Rainbow's mother wanted them all disposed of.

Pirate Captain Rarity, one of the most feared pirates sailing the 6 element seas, and daughter to Captain Magnum Black-the most feared pirate of all time, never wanted to be a pirate, the moment she saw the newest Princess of Equestria (and the queen's fashionable clothes), she knew she wanted to be a Princess, of course, Captain Magnum black despised the Princesses and the royal guard.

Two ponies completely opposite, yet both wanting the same thing, come together, and find themselves on the biggest adventure of the century. How will the stubborn Pirate Captain and the persistent Princess ever get along?

Rainbow Dash’s lies catch up to her and that leads to some interesting revelations about all of the mane six.
