She awoke to find herself trapped in the ebb and flow of realities, facing mirror images that were not her own; and driven by those she had wronged to change history for the better. Her only guide on this journey is Hal, a pegasus from her own spacetime, who appears in the form of a hologram that only she can see and hear.

And so the minty mare finds herself vaulting from life to life, striving to put right what once went wrong, and hoping each time that her next vault, will be the vault home...

(CROSSOVER NOTE: Savvy Ponies may have noticed that Quantum Vault is not ~exactly~ the same concept as Quantum Leap. It's meant to be more of an homage, though I've listed it as a 'crossover' due to the considerable, intentional similarities between the two. I wanted to have some freedom to put some original elements in the tale, and to keep things interesting, so readers can't just assume what will happen next based upon knowledge of Quantum Leap. Hey, it's me again. You know, the human-turned-pony thrust into the crosshairs of a crazy sun princess and her plan to "harmonize" all of humanity? Well, I just wanted to get home, but things have hit a bit of a snag. I'm now even farther from home, left to wander the multiverse without a clue as to how I get back. Hopefully I can find my way around the multiverse and back to where I started, so I can finally get home. However, while I'm out here, I might as well have some fun with it.

Just as long as nothing bad has happened to my friends while I was gone...

When Batty, formerly a middle aged brony who found himself inserted into Ponyville as a young Bat pony filly roughly ten years prior to the thousandth Summer Sun Celebration. Thinking that it would be a good idea to introduce Pinkie Pie to Cheese Sandwich when he first comes into town, Batty finds out the next day that she had inadvertently inspired them to become travelling Party Planner Pony Partners.

Batty now finds herself desperately trying to fill the missing role of Laughter before the inevitable return of Nightmare Moon. As the only Bat Pony in Ponyville.

Loosely related to Distorted Resonance, with the SI protagonist appearing in Ponyville as a Bat Pony instead of a Unicorn, and adopted into an OC family instead of becoming the foster sibling of one of the Mane Six.

Batty and Crystal Synergy may or may not eventually meet each other at some point. If they do, it will probably be really awkward. Especially since they both essentially started as the same person...
