Luna has assembled her task force of former villains to enter a realm where only villains can dwell, for the sake of thwarting Eris' plot.

Twilight decides to organize a party for this task force at the School of Friendship, to which Luna agrees. But during the party, Spike notices Tempest and his wings begin to act funny.

Twilight and Luna both become concerned by this, and Spike starts to wonder if something is wrong with him. But how will everyone react when they learn the true reason behind Spike's behavior? Including the one who's causing these feelings?

A story idea MrAquino and me thought along with some good editing by Autismo555 and in three days BOOM!

It's been 12 years since the Crystalling and much has changed. Flurry Heart is now a alicorn filly and while her parents and Twilight along with Dragon Lord Ember are away she's left in the care of uncle Spike who is now a gigantic gentle dragon while all is wonderful an old enemy shows his face and Spike must protect Flurry Heart from it.

Spike has hit his growth spurt making him happier than ever before... for about two weeks before he realized he was still the same, just taller and lanky. He still makes most of the chores around the castle, takes notes, reads comics, runs errands around town, and helps his friends whenever he can.

He's the same dragon he was before. The same coloration. The same appetites. The same hobbies. The same likings. The same fears.

The same weakling.

The same coward.

The same Spike.

He decides it's time for that change once and for all. And he knows exactly who to go to for that.

**Prequel to You Can Count On Me**

What happens when Spike gets betrayed by Rarity by turning him down for another stallion? With a mending heart and lost memories he sets out to seek revenge on the mare that broke his heart and to torment to any pony that gets in his and Nightmare's way! Beware of Spike the Dragon!

Spike considers himself to be a strong individual. Healthy, happy, but most importantly, sober.

Unfortunately for him, that changes during a night time Summer festival courtesy of Pinkie Pie. After a few dances and spiked drinks from Ponyville's delinquent Berry Punch, Spike finds himself getting drunk....by accident of course. And before he realizes what had happened, he finds himself in his room the next morning sleeping on top of Griffonstone's newest resident baker Gilda Gruff.

Spike will soon see if he is to come out of this situation beaten to a bloody pulp, or come out with a new special somepony to share his feelings with.

But it would soon end, as a group of rejected scientists are plotting against Princess Celestia, and their creating what is going to be known as the most perfect being. Can the princesses, and the Mane 6 take on Equestria's most perfect project and creation: D.N.A.C.E.L

950 years after Nightmare Moon was banished from Equestria, an incident occurred in the smokey mountains involving a cult obsessed with a being known as 'the fire starter'.

Said incident was where a dragon going by the name of Spike first appeared in Equestria, setting in motion several series of events regarding the supernatural forces that hid in the shadows of this world.

this is his story.

Spike was always different from other dragons. Sure, he still had many of the standard abilities of a dragon (such as flame breath and really tough scales), but he also liked reading more than other dragons did and didn't enjoy many of the same activities that gave other dragons pleasure. He was also adept in the field of alchemy. His only friend growing up was the Dragon Lord's daughter Ember.

Now, however, he has a chance to find out WHY he is different from other dragons, even if it means saying goodbye to his only friend. However, if he isn't like any other dragon, then what is he like?

Is there another out in the world like him or is he truly alone?

If he isn't alone, then where will this new path take him?

Many adventures with new friends and dangerous new enemies will give him the chance to find out, for better or for worse.

The only way to see where he will end up is to keep moving forward and never look back.

After a month of being missing after a magical mishap, Spike has returned to Ponyville. However, he's not the adorable baby dragon everyone remembers.

Now a well fleshed out drake, and garbed in armor the likes of which ponies have never seen, he walks with caution, grace, and absolute confidence. His eyes show wisdom beyond his years, but he has trouble remembering details about his friends. But he returned with a purpose.

He also didn't return alone.

One thing is certain though...he has a story to tell. That is this story.
