As bad things happen around us, it feels natural to blame things on ourselves or other things, but does that
truly get us anywhere?

Be it bad luck or whatever else, we all have that one part of us that we dont let surface, the part of us that is our
hatred, our anger, we try to keep it deep down, however sometimes it needs to emerge and be dealt with...

(This is my very first attempt at a fanfiction, so any suggestions or criticisms are greatly appreciated, thanks ^_^)

Also yeah I know, this can't happen.. If Nightmare Moon was created then Discord wouldn't be sealed away so I get that.

This is just a "what if" story so don't take it to heart. You can always just look at the picture like me and think he's just planting the "seeds" as the picture says before she sealed him away.

But I digress, had fun writing this.

Rainbow Dash is visiting her father this weekend in Cloudsdale. While happy to seeing her dad again, she is here however for another reason. The only thing is that she worries how he will react to this.

A short story of when Pinkie Pie, Derpy Hooves and Rainbow Dash coming together to create the perfect batch of cupcakes, but turns out they used all their favorite ingredients on the entire batch. Did they bake the perfect cupcake or the perfect muffin? ( And don't go off of the picture for this fiction!)

For the sake of actually calling it a short story I made two versions, one is the story without the filler and things that happened to the trio aren't told and/or shown once they've gotten to the end of the story. The other version is the ENTIRE story, so go nuts and read the extended version with extra stuff thought up from out of my head! Enjoy and choose wisely hehehe!

Everything seems to be going quite well for Twilight, she's just learned a new spell, seemingly lost to the ages, she has a new batch of books from the Sun Princess in the kitchen waiting for her, and of course her Number One Assistant once again proved his Number One-ness, and she hadn't even gotten out of bed yet.. Now, if only she could figure out why her room looked more like it belonged on a farm, or why she couldn't use her magic, but it might have something to do with the fact that she has an uncanny silver portal hanging on the wall that allows her to see herself as though she were AppleJack...

Author's Note: I'm note sure how I'm going to tag this, so I think it'll be changing at least once in the next chapter or two. In the mean time, I'll tag it adventure, since it's a pretty good umbrella term.

Lightning has always lead a rather simple life. He would go from town to town, maybe making a few bits and perhaps even drinking the blood of the innocent. But, when he stumbles upon a town called, Ponyville, a town filled with violence, corruption and murder, a few choices he makes throw his life into turmoil, and for once, this problem can't be shot down.

With the other Cutie Mark Crusaders caught up in family obligations, Scootaloo enlists the aid of her mentor, Rainbow Dash, to earn her cutie mark. But when Rainbow Dash's theatrics leave Scootaloo broken hearted, the elder pegasus has to look past her own definition of awesome to make ammends.
