Every Fifty years a special reunion is held by the many creatures of Equestria and its neighboring nations to maintain the peace that they have known for so long. This year much has changed. Equestria is on the brink of war and only one Princess has what it takes to prevent it. Rainbow Dash, daughter of Celestia and Heir to the throne. Bonds of friendship will be tested and some friendships will become more, while others are torn apart at the seams.

(After thinking over all the hate-mail i received on this story and everything the fans of this have told me, I've changed the story a bit. I feel I was a bit too harsh on Gilda. I've added in the missing scenes that were removed before due to fear of what people would think, and I've changed a few more things that were bugging me when i first wrote it.)

It's been ten years since Rainbow Dash's father disappeared in a wild, fierce thunderstorm. When the same strange storm hits Ponyville, Rainbow Dash does as much as she can to try and stop it from happening again.

But magic has a strange habit of making things reappear, opening old wounds that could change Rainbow Dash's life forever.

(First chapter has been re-written)One day Rainbow Dash wakes up to find that she has been turned into an Alicorn. She then finds out that she is the last descendant of Alicorns that rule over the Pegasus. Can she accept her role, or will she abandon it?

Rainbow Dash, after suffering a severe accident involving a high powered fan, refuses to return to the hospital to heal her broken wing. Instead, Twilight takes her in and makes her a potion to heal her wing. In an unfortunate accident, the potion swaps Rainbow's wings for a horn! As Twilight searches for a cure, she tells Rainbow that she may have to live with the horn for a while.

Rainbow Dash makes sure to visit her brother once a week, brining flowers, talking about every single crazy detail of her I week and life. She has been doing this for years.

Tonight is Nightmare Night and Rainbow is nowhere to be found. Her reason, she was visiting her brother.

This story ties into sometime between the first and second Solar Child.

Rainbow Dash has always been a highly motivated individual-always wanting to be a better flier, and as you all know she is very loyal. But what shaped her into such a pony? What drives Rainbow Dash to go ever faster? And when Ponyville is hit by something from Rainbow Dash's past, will her fear or her loyalty win?

Rainbow Dash-centric with a side of Spitfire.

How do you explain to someone that you want to be something else?

What if Rainbow Dash had a musical solo where she had to sing about something really important to her? A sort of "open your heart up and show what's going on" sort of thing? In front of everyone.

Since the time she met Twilight Sparkle, this little pony has gone through some interesting times and is not quite the same personality that we started out with, in my own opinion. Something about an honest "me" song from Dash was just something that kept popping into my head over and over and I had to get it out into verse. And then had to come up with the story that would get her to open up and actually sing it...
