While trying to take the other team's intel in the chasms of 2Fort, a cataclysmic event that is able to make members of both RED and BLU disappear, occurs. They wake up in a land unknown to them which appears to be completely inhabited by ponies, dogs, and other weird creatures. Will they continue to kill each other or will they learn to be temporary allies? Will they destroy Equestria or will they save it? Most importantly of all, will Rarity have enough hats?

Note: This is not a note, this is a warning of the spine-breaking and skull-melting hat collections and ridiculous moments in this story. You better pack some 50 year old popcorn, because you'll be eating jumper cables.

Everyone knows Fluttershy, the little timid cream-coated Pegasus you see running from almost anything. A pretty harmless pony in anyone's eyes, right? But that's not the case. Fluttershy has a favorite pastime that she keeps hidden from the world. Something that completely contradicts her personality. Something that all of the ponies on the internet fear and hate. But she isn't all that bad, is she? Guys?

Both Carmines have died painful deaths in Gears of Wars. Many thought that they were gone for good. Well, what happens if they're both in Equestria, fully armed to the teeth?

Edit: Wrote this when I was starting to get the hang of writing. Once I release my sequel to this story, I plan on revising this story so that it is completely readable.

A Gears of War Crossover.

When your life is as dull a gray as the world that surrounds you, the mundanities can make it all seem meaningless. Sometimes all we need is a little color -- or six -- to reintroduce us to what truly makes life worth living.

Two worlds that were never meant to connect. The apocalyptic war raging throughout Sera now finds itself raged in the magical land of Equestria. Ponykind finds itself allied with Humanity in order to survive not only the brutal and merciless nature of the Locust Horde, but that also of the dreaded and mutating Lambent.
Hero's will rise in these times of war, those who have already proven themselves saviors of there land will find themselves fighting a battle they have never fought. Lives will be lost, hearts will be shattered.

Such is the cost of war.

These are the Gears of War.

Note: The story begins with the Prologue and will later be put into sections marked as "Acts". These Acts will have their own chapters ranging from one to six at most, resembling the misson select system in the Gears of War games.

Subject matter contains coarse language, violence, blood and gore, and some sexually suggestive themes. Viewer discretion is advised.

After a slight miscalculations with the with blast, the Elements of Harmony accidently turned Rainbow Dash's loyal turtle a rock waffle tortoise into an Alicorn. Or what is considered an Alicorn these days. He's still the same ole tortoise, except with wings and a horn.

It has been several months since the disappearance of Twilight Sparkle..

One night, after watching her sister raise the Moon and set the heavens alight, Princess Celestia begins to bed down for the night, only to be interrupted by portal forming in her room. From out of the portal comes none other than Twilight Sparkle, garbed in strange armor.

Princess Celestia, along with Luna, Cadence, and Shining Armor, are overjoyed by the Element of Magic's return, but are justifiably curious as to where she had been and what she had been doing. And so, Twilight begins her tale. A tale of survival against impossible odds. A tale of a people fighting for the most basic right of all sentient beings. The right to exist.
