The Dazzlings head to Donut Joe's to lick their wounds after the Battle of the Bands. Unfortunately, they run into the ones who defeated them and strike up a conversation that brings up old memories.

It's been a few months since the Battle of the Bands, and the Dazzlings are slowly but steadily walking down the path to redemption. Sonata has gone back to school, Adagio has gotten a job, and Aria... well, Aria's trying her best.

One day, Adagio comes home from work to find that Sonata has decided to "embrace her inner darkness" and become a goth. Neither Adagio nor Aria are amused. Now, it's up to them to find out just what's wrong with Sonata, and why she thinks she's destined to wear too much mascara.

(This story is a non-canon derivation of The Evening Sonata arc, The Sunrise Sonata. There are some minor spoilers.)

Lying in Hospital with multiple stab wounds and broken legs, Aria Blaze is cursing her misfortune and the continuation of the miserable course her life is taking.
Unexpectedly, she receives a visit from her sister, Sonata Dusk. But something is wrong...

This is a nightmare style story, and contains scenes some may find disturbing... if you can picture them in your head, I mean.

It has been weeks since the defeat of the Dazzlings, and Sunset Shimmer's friendships have only gotten stronger. Whilst finally relaxing in the times of peace, Sunset discovers an old enemy: Sonata Dusk. Strangely alone and apparently homeless, Sonata's luck seems to be at its all time low.
Seeing a little of herself in the former siren, Sunset embarks on a mission to help Sonata find friendship.

After their defeat, the Dazzlings have disappeared. When they hide from Canterlot High and other people, they blame each other for their loss. Saddened, Sonata Dusk flees from the others. Aria Blaze stomps off after a fight, and Adagio looks for guidance.

(for any G-fans, Xenilla is the kaiju you may know as Spacegodzilla. I changed the name because I got quirked about typing it repeatedly and am writing the story so it can at least be understood by just an MLP or just a G-fan; and thought it get very confusing that one character's name was just another character's name with an adjective. Also... don't pretend it's the most imaginative name Toho has every made)

The Dazzlings had been spending a relaxing vacation at a ski resort. However, after a horrible day trapped on the ski-lifts, they finally returned to the hotel to just forget about their experience.

After Adagio leaves to register a complaint with the management, Aria readies herself for a peaceful evening. But when Sonata finishes her food that she got from room service and decides to "borrow" a cake that was delivered to a neighboring room, she gets dragged along to help Sonata with the heist.

Should be no problem, right?

Disclaimer: there is a bit of suggestive (at least by my standards) humor in this story.

Story based on and set in thegreatcat14's A Dazzling Winter continuity. This adapts, combines and amalgamates a few of her pictures together and uses her interpretations of the Dazzlings. I give a massive thanks to her for allowing me to write this.

However they still have their abilities of song, and can still manipulate the minds of others to adore them. One night while collecting energy, they come across something mysterious, something they never expected to find, something that will change their lives, especially the life of their leader forever.
