Hi, my name is Alexander Hayes. Or, at least it was before this whole mess got started. Now people call me Skuld Godspear, and there’s a very lengthy story behind that, trust me. So, my friends told me that I should write down what’s been going on so far, just so that I don’t go crazy when I go back. If I go back. Anyway I guess that the best way to start this story, as if there was a good way, is to begin just a bit after the beginning. Sounds confusing, I know, but trust me, you won’t be lost for long.

I was always my dads golden girl. I was born and raised to do little more than learn and excel, be it sports or academics. But when you see your dreams crushed beneath another's boot you rarely think straight, and a little excursion into the city leads to the biggest problem of my life. Stuck in a world which I know nothing about I'm forced to find my way with little more than my luck and wits, I'm resigned to living in a place that obviously doesn't want me here. May the gods help me...

Have you ever been in that situation where your life just completely turns around, throws you into Equestria, and turns you into a Windigo? ...okay, that may be getting a little too specific.

I'm Arrell - well, that's what I'm called now. I used to be a human, and now I'm a Windigo. What am I doing? Well, aside from enjoying cold places, breaking the fourth wall, and occasionally getting involved with ass-kickings, not a whole lot. It's surprising how mellow life can be when you're in the body of a creature normally seen as demonic...of course, it's become a lot less mellow now that these articles have started showing up. Strange objects from other dimensions possessing unique and dangerous properties, and I have to retrieve them.

...all in all, could be better, could be worse.

I've often found that its the little choices we make in life that have the biggest impact. Should I chance this week old sandwich or not? Is crossing the street now a good idea? If someone asks if you'd like to visit Equestria do you immediately say yes? Well in order, here's the consequences of yes... Stomach ache from hell, nearly being flattened by a semi and some newly brown pants, and waking up in a field in a body not your own and the strangest feeling of being dead.

This story is set within the wonderful setting of the Chess Game of the God's, and isn't to be seen in any way as cannon.

I always wanted to go to Equestria. When I got the chance, I took the deal without reading the fine print. To my surprise, I didn't arrive there as a pony, or even as a human. It seems I get to view this world from a different perspective than what I've imagined.

The newest addition to the game leaves Earth with a blast, literally. Now placed in a whole new world how will Jack fare? With murderous dragons and dogs terrorizing this world and other humans running around the place and doing their best to change the world (for the better or the worse is up to you to decide). Armed with nothing more than a bag and some special powers he will set out for the world to travel, but danger always lurks around the corner and Jack will soon learn that dragons and dogs aren't the only things that he should watch out for.
