Starlight Glimmer is one of the most trusted members of the Special Branch of the Equestrian Intelligence Service. When the job must be done, she is the one they send.

Sometimes, those missions are filled with action and danger, romance and violence.

Other times, they involve freezing your flanks on a park bench, waiting to see if a promised defector shows up bearing the state secrets Equestria would very much like to get their hooves on...

Prequel stories are recommended, but NOT required reading.

Sunset and Rarity stop at a western ghost town for lunch, but a dark mystery is on the menu.

Author's note: WOAH! I EXIST! ...It's been a long time since I put words to page. I wrote the intro and the first chapter of this ages ago, and I'd like to put down what I've got to spur me to write the rest. I'm already nearly done with chapter 2, and I have a good idea where the next couple of chapters will lead!

War changes things quickly. Soon she finds herself locked in conflict between the Sisters, with death and despair an almost certainty as animosity builds underneath the ancient flags of the Solar Empire and the New Lunar Republic. Survival means sacrifice, betrayal, and suffering. In the end, what else is worth striving for but to see harmony reign again.

This is the story of that horrid war, told through the pages of her diary.

This is a dramatic retelling of the 2023 Derpibooru April Fool's Event and part of a collaborative effort of several people to chronicle the events through the eyes of the characters we played along faction lines. Stories of the friends we made, the rivals we respected, and the inevitable push for unity. This is not meant to be an exact retelling of the events, but generalizations and fiction built through roleplay, art, expanding backstories and fun.

Dr. Rare is set in Pony Village, a place located in the distant past of Equestria where ponies co-exist with all sorts of interesting animals and creatures. In this village lives Rare Belle, an inventor. In the first chapter, he manages to build what he hopes will be the world's most perfect little filly robot, named Sweetie. According to Dr. Rare, her being a robot is supposed to be a secret. However, despite her being a hyper-intelligent android, she turns out to be a bit naive at times. Later on, she has multiple adventures such as bringing a huge bear home. To Dr. Rare's credit, she also happens to have super-strength. This story focuses on Sweetie's true childhood, and her misunderstandings of the world around her right after she's constructed, as well as Dr. Rare's ridiculous inventions, rivalries, and romantic misadventures.

Based on the 1980's gag manga Dr. Slump, the following fiction is an adaptation, and it focuses primarily on outdated jokes and questionable themes from Japan that some may find offensive, and/or discomforting.

Dr. Slump is owned and written by:
~Akira Toriyama
~Published by Shueisha
~For Monthly Shōnen Jump

Dr. Rare is rated teen for occasional violence, suggestive content, crude banter, strong language, use of alcohol and use of tobacco.
