Anon likes his life to be simple. He wakes up, goes to work and sometimes gets himself a good book to read while he is home. It's a routine that he likes to follow, it makes him feel like he has a bit of normality with his life in Equestria. The fact that having Celestia come crashing into his home as part of his routine should prove that his life is anything but normal.

Celestia has a dangerous creature held in the deepest of Canterlot's high-security dungeons. It can create ponies (with full backgrounds and histories) with it's strange and often-times prophetic powers. The Princess does her best to keep it under wraps, but its only a matter of time before it's "creativity" will get out of control.

Rarity's rival Haveta Dash and Pinky Pie are getting too friendly for Rarity's taste. Eavesdropping on them she overhears something that she is horrified by and jumps (or dumps!) to conclusions. Is it all a big misunderstanding or is this new pony a troublemaker? (or Trouble Baker!?)

Rarity runs Pony Vale's premiere – and only – radio show, and sees informing her listeners of the town's daily happenings as her highest priority, be it giving updates on the town's night howler infestation, discussing the latest advances from the secret lab miles under the town, or just translating the town council's meeting minutes into something the average mind can comprehend.

But now, the town news has gotten odd: the sun refused to rise, strange(r) lights have been seen in the sky, a unicorn with perfect mane and teeth has come to town, and some ponies are even claiming that magic exists. At least she has the town council to help her make sure she reports the town news correctly.

Nopony ever said being a voice on the radio was easy.

The former human known as Silver has attempted to throw his life away, but neither Luna nor his wife, Night Watch will tolerate this. He claims it was an impulse, but they will cure him of the deep breaks even if it means reassembling him from parts.

His life in Equestria has been full of ups and downs. He has two foals on the way, but has lost as many wives, and many more friends have moved on or away. He has been beaten, burned, and generally abused, sometimes at no fault of his own, and sometimes entirely at his discretion.

Savior of Canterlot, yet feared by many of its people, will Silver Lining find true happiness in this magic world of equines? Stripped of his diplomat status and declared a ward of Luna until such time as she proclaims him cured, he has little choice but the trust in her love, and hope it can fix the breaks within him, without destroying who he is.

A human in his mid thirties that makes his living off of online video games that he designed and by writing about ponies. When he gets his chance to go anywhere he wants, he opts to visit Equestria, despite more sane options being available.

Behold as our author-turned-protagonist deals with the dangers of Equestria as he attempts to make a new place for himself without looking too much like an ass. He will encounter faces he knows from before, and some that are not as they seem. Will he survive a convention traveling at the side of his new friends? Will he get his fill of Equestrian life and want to go home?
