After a harrowing and dangerous quest, Twilight Sparkle and her friends have recovered Excelsior's Ecstatic Codex from an evil zebra cult intent on ending the world. The Codex, one of the greatest works of dark magic ever forged, carries within its pages a limitless collection of vile, twisted spells, all specially devised for anypony who opens the cover.
What do you do with a book of dark magic? If you're Twilight Sparkle, you put it in your library. Because that's where books go.
After all, books are for everypony.
A collection of short stories depicting Starlight's adventures during the episodes of Season 6 that do not feature her. If an episode does end up featuring her prominently then I will either add to the episode or write a related story. Begins with the events of episode 5 "Gauntlet of Fire" and will move on from there. Spoilers are imminent. Each chapter will be one story, with the corresponding episode in parenthesis in the title.
There will be some continuity, though as with the show itself almost every story can be enjoyed independently. I will try to keep to the episode order as best I can, though if ideas strike me for episodes 3 or 4 then I will slot them in. Titling will be clear so hopefully there is no confusion.
This idea was given to me by kickassking. So if you like what I write here then know that he made it possible. So, thanks!
Starlight's teleportation skills are becoming very impressive. There's just one little problem: she doesn't seem to be able to go anywhere without coming to a rather sticky end. Okay, not end exactly. But definitely sticky.
