This story is a sequel to When Times Collide

With Sunny and her friends now stuck in the era of Twilight Sparkle, the two heroes and their respective groups will have to work together in helping to prevent the three pony tribes from ever separating again. All the while, Sunny will be forced to witness the ponies she was told stories about, both the good times and the bad.

With the ponies from the future stuck in the past and the future of the world in question, can these two groups work together to prevent the same mistakes that caused Sunny's future in the first place; or is the hand of fate the one thing that even the magic of friendship can't stand up to?

Twilight, Sunny, and their friends are going to find out the hard way either way.

I would like to be upfront about something: Only specific "Episodes" will feature romances. So while the Romance genre tag is not marked, it's not a main featured genre as this story is more focused on the action & drama that will come about having the Generation 5 ponies in Generation 4. If I spy any comments about ships that are hidden in this description by the spoiler block, those comments will be deleted.

Notice: Due to extrunanting circumstances, I've become unable to do this story justice. Thankfully, Fimficiton User Mlp4ever has decided to adopt this story as their own. I will be keeping the original up for those that just want to look back on this now debunked version. There's...really no other reason. I know I normally delete cancelled projects from my profile, but this one? Well, it'd be better to keep the original up so people know where to go.

Rainbow Dash is visited by Soarin not too long after the Royal Wedding. The two decide to spend some time together... But Dash gets confused about her feelings, so she goes around trying to figure out what the hay is going on. As much as she hates to admit it, she's pretty clueless when it comes to romance. Unfortunately, so are most of her friends, but Rarity knows what to tell her- And Rainbow Dash isn't quite so willing to accept the truth.

Umm... Very first pony fanfic, I guess. Please, feel free to give constructive criticism. I won't take offense. And if you should choose to thumbs down it please say why, it might help me be a better writer. :)

Rated Teen for some language. Some. Maybe. Also for some hinted sexual themes and sex jokes. It's not going to be too bad though.

It's another Christmas but one Rainbow is sure to enjoy as her uncle, aunt, and baby cousin Sunshine Heart are in town. Rainbow, her mother, and father are glad to have them spending Christmas with them. Cheerilee and her little sister Scootaloo are also spending Christmas with the Dash Family. Rainbow's stallionfriend, Soaren, is also spending Christmas with them.

A long time ago they were four warriors that fought off evil with the power of the elements of nature. They fought Erebus and two sacrificed their lives to save Equestria.

A thousand years later Erebus returns and has his eyes on the elements of harmony and their bearers.

So Aura, Gaea, Amphitrite and Hestia hand their powers down to the young pegasus mare Rainbow Dash and she will become Iris, spirit of the elements of nature.

But with having to deal with being the new wonderbolt, a curious alicorn close to revealing her identity, three noisy fillies almost getting killed, lying to friends, having a crush on a certain wonderbolt and being Equestria's new hero it ain't going to be easy.

Rainbow Dash has been feeling a great deal of pain lately, from headaches to sore limbs, but she brushes them off to perform her first Wonderbolt show. During the show she crashes to the ground as she is wracked in pain. She is soon rescued by two Pegasus and is taken too the dying King Wind Crasher, where she is told that not only is she going to become Queen, but that she was not born a Pegasus, but an Alicorn.

Icy Storm, youngest son of Rainbow Dash and Soarin and the younger brother of Prism Bolt, will travel all Equestria to find his place in his home. But he's not alone. With the accompaniment by his marefriend Pixel Bit, daughter of Sweetie Belle and Button Mash, they will travel together in an adventure of their lifetime.

This is a direct sequel to Storm Wardens by LuminoZero. This story will follow Icy Storm and Pixel Bit's journey across Equestria so the Icy can find his role. I HIGHLY recommend that you read LuminoZero's Prism Bolt series (starting with A Push Too Far and ending with Storm Wardens) before reading this.

Soarin proves himself completely hopeless at this thing one might call romance if not for his failure at it, as he tries to woo Rainbow Dash while his fellow Wonderbolts take endless enjoyment from his floundering. Just how is a "decently" aged, pie obsessed, goofball supposed to ask a mare out anyways? Especially when that mare is a young star in her prime, which he is most certainly not?

None of this is obviously helped by the fact that Rainbow is a prankster and troll, something that the lovestruck Soarin is, well, too lovestruck to notice or care about.
