After being banished by Celestia for his misdeeds, the alien Emperor of the Crystal Empire is back... and out for revenge.

Emperor Chalmers is not a happy space man. After being stabbed in the back by Equestria, he was sent to the depths of the Underworld. Kicked out for causing too much trouble for the wardens, Nigel now has the chance to take back his empire and show Celestia just how disappointed he is with her.

This time things will be different. This time he has friends.

There once was a time, long before the ponies came together to build their great nation, when spirits and fae creatures roamed the land. A man, little more than a boy, was brought into the land as a sylvan, a soul locked into a tree. He has a tale that the Sisters do not want their subjects to know. Thus they ensnared him, tricked him, and wounded him greatly as to keep the then ancient beast silent. But little did they know that no one can silence great forest he called his home, his kingdom

Yeah, jumping on this bandwagon with the LoHAV gang. Seems that I can't seem to get away from the wood motif. This was initially inspired by Headless, Not Heartless and various others, but only now do I actually get to it.

I am formally known as the Mad Hatter, but my friends call me Hatter. I don't think I can call myself human anymore after what those shadow hands did to me, but I just roll with it. I'd rather have fun and be carefree than let a little dimensional traveling affect me.

Tartarus: the fabled prison said to hold all of the demons of Equus at bay.

Few truly know what lies behind the impenetrable doors Cerberus guards. Some say that it is a pit, infinite in it's depth and darkness, from which there is no return. Other claim it to be a hellish plain, filled with fire and pain and suffering, to punish the demons for their sins.

All of them are wrong.

Tartarus is small. An inescapable cell for a single prisoner. But the tales about it's purpose are not false.

For this captive human holds the key to unleashing upon Equestria forces which have not been seen for centuries, forces which predate Equestria by many an age.

And soon, he shall be free.

The protector, otherwise known as the Big Daddy, is often regarded as the ultimate killing machine of the underwater utopia known as Rapture. They are nearly indestructible, can endure the crushing pressures of the bottom of the ocean, and possess a variety of killing tools.

Through a completely unexpected sequence of events, a Big Daddy is sent to Equestria through a tear. Knowing the kind of havoc a Big Daddy can cause, Booker DeWitt and Elizabeth pursue the behemoth to get it back.

But they're too late.

Takes place in the BioShock: Infinite- Burial at Sea universe, in an alternate timeline. The events of the DLC Burial at Sea: Episode 1 do not happen. Booker and Elizabeth are not trying to find Sally. NONE of your favorite ponies are getting killed, I promise.

Princess Celestia has been alive for 1499 years. For centuries, she has kept her birthday a secret from the masses of Equestria. Only a select few know the actual day. As such, Celestia hasn't had a birthday party in well over eight hundred years, and she's quite alright with that.

However, the return of three prominent figures in her's and Luna's life, might just be able to break that streak.

Cory's a human transfer student at Canterlot University. His parents pay all of his school expenses while he pays for food and living expenses. He's got a decent job and he splits his bills with his roommate, so he's living relatively well. The only problem is that he doesn't know what to do with his life. He's meant for something more, he knows it, but he can't figure out what it is.

Fleetfoot is a member of the elite flying team, the Wonderbolts. She isn't as popular as Spitfire and Soarin, but she doesn't mind that one bit. She loves being a Wonderbolt, she really does, but she feels like something's missing.

When these two cross paths, will they hit it off? If they do, will it even last?

Supporting characters include Spitfire, Soarin, and Gaffer from the MLP comics.

NOTE BEFORE READING: This story takes place within the same universal context as my previous story, in which the human and pony worlds have been in contact with each other for a few years.

Jason has been in Equestria for quite some time and has lived countless lives. Some have been short, others have been rather long. No matter the length, they all share one thing in common. They all end in fire and flames.

He has spent centuries wandering the countryside, gravitating towards events. When whispered words of Nightmare Moon's return reach his ears, his feet take him to Canterlot, where what he encounters leaves himself and many others more than intrigued.

An idea that sparked a story. Immortality is an often used plot device with a Human In Equestria story, and I wanted something different, something new, something... fresh. Thus, the concept of mimicking the phoenix came to life, and from it, this story.

"Myths are interesting stories, created to entertain the masses. However, no story is completely created. Sometimes we must borrow from the truths of the world."

"To conquer one must divide the enemy. For if they unite victory can not be assured."

Equestria is in danger of an old enemy. One that has not been seen for milleniums, he only brings destruction and sorrow to the world of myths and legends.
However else where an old ally continued their journey. Through strife, pain, and war. They forge an incredible society that spans their universe. Thanks to the discovery of an unknown signature they will advance even faster than before. Allowing new technology and imagination to take flight. They are only limited, by how far they dream.
What will happen when they finally open a doorway to a world, who believes their kind as nothing more than a myth?
