Time twists and loops, and it does not always play out again as it did before. In this eddy of time, one rainbow-maned pegasus has been cut out of the loop before she ever existed.
After discovering reading is pretty cool during a hospital stay, Rainbow Dash has a third random encounter with one of the Wonderbolts she doesn't know everything about: Soarin'. A series of comedic adventures leaves him owing her big time yet again, leading to a friendship that turns out to be one heck of a wild ride and a whole lot more.

Concerned about the confidence of some of her students, Cheerilee enlists Rainbow Dash to take six children: Sweetie Belle, Silver Spoon, Snails, Dinky Doo, Pipsqueak and Archer on a week-long camping trip to Whitetail Woods. Rainbow enlists the aid of Big Macintosh as her co-chaperone as she tries to teach the young fillies and colts about camping, teamwork, confidence and how to get along and fend for themselves.
They are so doomed.

After the events of Thrown Abroad, Suncloak the changeling is happily living in Ponyville. Well, sort of. He needs the love of friendship to stay alive! Luckily, there's plenty of ponies who would want to be friends with him. But let's not forget about other changelings here...
