When the Royal Wedding scatters defeated changelings all over Equestria, a member of the hive winds up being captured in Ponyville, tied up, stunned, repeatedly shot by a cannon, and held against his will.

The truly frightening part is he’s starting to like it.

The explosion of love from the defeat at Canterlot hit harder and reached farther than any changeling expected. Firefly felt the effects as much as any, but she also gained something wonderful and priceless from it. When Bon-Bon has to leave Ponyville for a while to deal with a family crisis in Manehattan, Lyra writes her a letter every day. And every day, she gets a letter back. What could possibly be wrong with such loving devotion?

Natalya, fastest griffon in Griffonstone, finally made it to the Equestria Games. This was her chance to show everyone that she was the best flyer in all the lands.

Or so she thought.

When Natalya sees the flying skills of a pegasus named Rainbow Dash, she begins to wonder if she had finally found someone that might actually be as good as her. Unable to get the lingering thought out of her mind, she decides that she must meet Rainbow Dash and race her.

Natalya is soon going to find out that a simple race is going to be the least of her problems.
