The lost of certain plant or animal species can have horrible effects on a ecosystem and the same can be said an introduction of either two.

So what happens when the flora and fauna of Earth ends up in Equestria?

The same thing that happens here on Earth, an inbalance of the ecosystem. Only difference is that Earth's ecosystem can balance itself back naturally but on Equestria, the inhabitants have to do it themselves.

Consider some of the horrifying things that Mother Nature has come up with and you can see where this is going.

"I am not the Genie of the Lamp. I never was, and I never will be. I am your slave no more, and if you think to try again, I will show you how mistaken you are."

Over one thousand years ago I was sent to Equestria by a treacherous salesman's cursed trinket. It changed who I was... what I was. Gone is the simple business man with a penchant for crossplay, the father of two and beloved husband. That's all gone now, taken from me by Sombra, the Princesses, and time.

I have become the costume, a half-genie with looks that could kill. Oh how I have been made to kill. But that time is over now... I hope. There's just one more thing that I have to do.

As with every living creature, once every year, Princess Celestia has a day that commemorates the anniversary of her birth. Given that she is blessed with many wonderful friends and family members, she receives many gifts on her birthday. Some she likes more than others, while some are rather odd.

On this one thousand seven hundred and nineteenth birthday of hers, she receives a large stuffed squid plushie.

She is perplexed.

Luna's return was met with significant fanfare, though with all the fuss dying down, and with the formal re-establishment of the night court months away, Luna seems to have had little to do other than lounging around.

or so Celestia thinks.

When she finds Luna entering the Ministry of Records unannounced she wonders, Just what is her little sister up to?

A failed experiment.

Not exactly new for Twilight. But when the outcome brings forth its own science, the likes of which her nation hadn't even yet dared to hope for, the ponies of Equestria slowly realize that they're in for the adventure of a lifetime.

The problem is, they might just not be ready for the revolutions that technological advancement always brings.

And they're about to get hundreds of years of human science and advancements all at once.

As a forewarning, updates will likely be erratic. I have every intention of finishing this story, it's just that my life has been rather crazy lately as I'm sure many of you can imagine.

I've been in Equestria for exactly one year. I still don't know how I got here, but ever since that fateful day, I've bunked with local librarian Twilight Sparkle, making my living doing odd jobs around town and getting into the occasional world-saving adventure. Life seemed to finally be settling down, I got an offer for a stable (heh) job, I had saved up enough for my own house, and as the only human in Equestria, I'm a bit of a celebrity.

And then Twilight asked me out.

A human and Princess Celestia wake up in bed together with head-splitting hangovers. They have no idea what happened the previous night, and they're not sure they want to know.

This is a stupid fic, but I had a ton of fun writing it. 'Fraid it'll only be two chapters long though.

One day, Zeke Daniels, the only human in Equestria, asks Princess Celestia a simple question: why don't ponies have queens?

Everyone knows the saying, 'No good deed ever goes unpaid', or something along the same length. In my case, however, when I discovered this odd guy kidnapping people at a Comic-Con and tried to stop it, said payment ended up with me in a world where everything's pastel-colored, and it's a virtual race of me against the world as I try to find all of the Great Kanohi scattered around the country. Oh, yeah, and for some reason, I'm now techno-organic, and I have to work with technicolor ponies to find Kanohi all around the world that grant me new forms of Toa.
