After the events with Gabby, all seems well with Rarity and Spike, but there are certain things left unspoken by both of them, and keeping emotions bottled and set aside is never healthy.

A few decades of family life for Discord and Celestia (happily married) and Luna in their castle under the peaceful reign of Twilight Sparkle has been a joy. Indeed, neither Equestria (nor their little family) has faced a severe crisis ever since the pre-coronation attack by Chrysalis, Tirek, and Cozy Glow.

But times are changing - Twilight has a new special student: Luster Dawn. And Luster's first mission of friendship was to reform the evil trio. She reports success, and can't wait to show Twilight as well as the former rulers of Equestria (and several carefully chosen others) just how changed the villains are. The villains can't wait to show everyone a few things too. And Discord, Celestia, and Luna can't wait to be an active part of something bigger than themselves once again courtesy of the little ponies in their lives.

Welcome to a tea party for the ages where hopes, doubts, lies, longing, confusion, betrayal, jealousy, ambition, and of course love and friendship will all reveal themselves and be confronted in one of the most gloriously chaotic spectacles of potential disaster any creature has ever known. A slow-burn, ongoing piece of indeterminate length beginning a couple years after S9E25 that is going to end with a Sparity wedding and yes, that's a spoiler, but the journey's more important than the destination, am I right?! Anyway if you want to read a nice and comfy fic where the characters talk about their feelings a lot that isn't too dramatic about it, come on in

Rated T, just to be on the safe side; while there's no severe language or content this fanfic does deal with some slightly more mature themes than the show itself. Also the dragon and the unicorn are going to make out when the time is right, it is foreordained, by me. I fully intend to take my sweet time getting there though, fair warning.

Spike is a dragon who was raised by ponies. Rarity is one of the most successful fashionistas in all of Equestria. This is the story about how a certain drake won the heart of his special lady and the lives they build with each other. Many challenges await our intrepid heroes, from threats to Equestria to the matters of the heart.

(The story will mostly be Sparity, but like a newly opened harbor they'll be more ships in future. Would hate to make anyone feel left out.)

Rarity is stressed. Defeated! Orders and deadlines and overwork just the norm. Because of this, Spike goes without his apron, flexing his shredded body all in the hope to make her feel better. Because that's how things work, right?

They're even prepared to 'have the celebration be doubled' by using their time travel spell to relive this particular Hearts and Hooves Day a second time since Luna always loses most of the holiday to her nightly princess duties. However, even the closest of couples can still have problems, and when Luna faces a new dream of Joe's, the pair must put aside their celebrating to face their plans for the future once and for all.

Meanwhile, Discord invites Celestia to dinner in the clouds for a holiday celebration that goes from confusing to sweet to panic-inducing until finally a chase erupts that leads the chaos master and the sun princess to an adorably awkward conversation about their own love life.
