It is a fact that horses have served mankind for thousands of years, in times of war and in times of peace. Your horse – a chestnut mare named Zayna – helps you to earn your primary source of income, in the form of a riding school.

But then, a freak occurrence dumps you both in a strange new land populated by talking ponies. At first, they are a bit hostile due to a misunderstanding — but that's nothing when you realise it's not just ponies who can talk here.

As it turns out, horses can as well.

The first exchange doesn't quite go without a hitch, however, as the portal opens near a pony ranch at Texas, Earth.

Three days since something terrible happened.

Three days since a Pony was declared dead.

Three days since everything changed.

What happened?

A very short story written to get the idea out of my head.

There are no humans in Equestria. In fact, most ponies haven't ever even heard of a human.

A lone clocksmith is taunted by sleep. Eventually the pony reaches out to a doctor who suggests keeping a dream journal.

Perhaps the nightmares can be explained through good old fashioned psychoanalysis.

Perhaps there is a very good reason you do not remember your dreams.

Lyra, a simple pony with simple dreams. Dreams involving aliens, that is. Her fascination with them even got her a job dealing with them, though no one takes it seriously. Lyra hopes to one day be able to meet one, she just needs to believe.

In comes a human, whom mysteriously gets transported to Equestria. It's up to Lyra to show the alien the ways of her people! The power of friendship, magic, and hugs await her on this strange adventure.

I was just on my way through the forest when I saw her crash. I couldn't leave her there...what's a small detour on my usual trip. Never had a traveling companion out here before anyways.

Equestria, the crowning achivement of harmony and balance. The symbol of all that is good, not just to the world, but the entire universe. That will change. A new threat has arisen, and he will bring this world to its knees. That threat, is You! You are destined to become the greatest villain in the history of Equestria! The path to power however, is up to you.
