Twilight Sparkle reluctantly embarks on a journey to Hoofington to learn the magic of friendship. However, she instead finds herself in the ghetto that is Ponyville, where friendship has taken a back seat to "Sweets" addictions and violent power struggles. Will Twilight be able to complete her quest among the jaded denizens of Ponyville or just be caught in the crossfire?

After rarity receives the ornate box, she quickly discovers it is not just a normal music box. For what sleeps within it, should never be woken up. The city of manehatten has something set loose Upon it. Something they haven't seen before.

Something about Lightning Dust just seemed a little 'off'. Sometimes she didn't react the right way to the world around her, and sometimes the way she reacted was positively frightening... but it wasn't until she laughed off nearly killing a couple of ponies that anypony actually realized just how messed up she was.
