When a freshly crowned ruler of Equestria Twilight Sparkle finally finds some free time from her new royal duties, she decides to make the most of it. Having recently found an interest in learning about the EUP Guard, she decides to peruse the palace library. While browsing the large array of books, she becomes taken by surprise when she accidentally opens up a secret passage.

Venturing inside, she discovers a massive labyrinthian temple hidden beneath the palace of the two sisters. At first, she's hesitant to explore the structure, but when Spike gets lost within its walls, she finds her decision getting made for her.

As she heads deeper into the ominous crypt, she'll find herself confronting unspeakable horrors and learning dark secrets that should have stayed buried. As well as forever tainting how she views the once illustrious princesses.

Instead of the shining orb of light, Celestia raises an overloading nuclear furnace. The whole of Equestria is set alight by the deadly rays.

Twilight wakes up not to a fresh morning air but a fiery cataclysm. With her castle melting away, she’s forced to abandon the premises on short notice. But how can one escape to safety in a blazing world?

"Swirls" is under attack but by who? She wakes up in Ponyville with no memories and no clues--just a bunch of scars and bruises. Who could have done it? She wanders around until she runs into Pinkie who graciously lets her stay with her and Twilight bandage her up. Will she figure out her attacker? Will she be able to protect herself if she does?

Nightmare Moon returns from her 1000 years of imprisonment to take over the world. Only in this instance, there is no Mane6 to stop her, no Twilight Sparkle. But NMM isn't alone, she calls for allies, ponies that wish to help her. One such pony a Royal Guard Pegasus steps up to the call and goes to her to help her do her bidding and ensure that the night shall last forever!

(On a temporary hiatus as writer's block is a pain. Ideas are there, but I have very little written. XP )

... Time passed, and soon washed away that history into myth after the Great Destruction.

Now, all that is left is the Underground, my home of tunnels and darkness. The world above is a mystery no-pony dares to find out, despite some desperate to escape the tunnel life wanting to see what is really up there... besides death and ruin.

A young filly named Sagedust manages to find someone who knows - just a little - about what the world above is like. Everything goes nicely since a scary event of being a messenger for her community...

Until Grandmaster decides to banishes her to the surface to die. However, she is not alone.

The 'Mane Six' with the Princess Twilight, receive a Distress beacon from Discord. It leads them to a cave previously unknown or mapped.

Sparkle was down on her luck. She had nothing, then she felt power. Sparkle doesn't understand what happened. Sparkle doesn't know what to do. She only knows what she feels...
