For their first home together, Twilight and Applejack wanted a house close to Applejack's farm and big enough for Twilight's books, with a little something special besides. They settled on the perfect place, one of the oldest barns on Sweet Apple Acres, and had it converted into a comfortable house for their little family. But when strange things start happening just after they move in, Twilight finds that she has a mystery to solve before she can really call her dream house "home."
My entry into the TwiJack Hearth's Warming Contest.
There are some things in this world that absolutely no one can walk away from unchanged. Here we have Celestia on an investigative trip to the Badlands south of Equestria. Twilight's research told of a hidden city built by wonderful and terrible beings who "came before". Celestia needs to see it for herself. It is in a barren desert tainted by an unknown energy that destroys all who live...but perhaps not all who have lived. In one burnt out ruin hidden below the depths of that lonely place is a mausoleum haunted by its mistakes. Not even the ruler of the sun is all knowing and there are some secrets that will always hurt more than they help. This is a story about desperate minds searching for a solution in desperate times, what can happen when we let fear fuel the day, and good intentions gone wrong.
This is a sequel to my other story To Be Remembered. It takes place in the same "City of Dust" as that story, but I don't think you need to read that in order to enjoy this one. It's up to you. Contains some blood and takes place in a post-apocalyptic city outside normal, happy Equestria.
Pinkie Pie is known as the party planner of Ponyville, the happiest mare you will find, one that's always willing to help or cheer you up no matter what. However, these past days, the mare seems to have been lacking some of that enthusiasm.
Will her friends discover what's causing it before it's too late?

Life is full of challenges.
Pinkie Pie knows that, and will always try to help her friends smile no matter the circumstances. But when Pinkie's newest friend Sarah, a little girl from a strange new world, is faced with more challenges than anyone so young should ever have to handle, Pinkie begins to wonder if she really can keep the smiles coming.
Once is an accident. Twice is a coincidence. Thrice is a pattern.
Filthy Rich knows this pattern. The delicious smells of freshly baked eggs, cheese and pastry tell him that something has gone terribly wrong, and he can't help the feeling Diamond's note has something to do with it.
Patterns are made to be broken. It's high time for a talk.
A side story in direct continuity with The Silver Standard and What Riches Still Await. Familiarity is highly recommended, but not required.
In the days after her ascension, every newspaper in Equestria is talking about how Princess Celestia transformed Twilight Sparkle into an alicorn princess.
There's just one problem – Twilight knows that's not what happened.
Why does Celestia let them believe something that isn't true? After all, it isn't like knowing could hurt anypony, right?
This story is a sequel to Daring DONE!
The princesses need to take a week off to argue about important issues.
Luckily, Twilight is there to rule Equestria while they're gone!
There's absolutely no way this can go wrong.
As it's a sequel to "Daring DONE!", Twilight Velvet is the writer of the Daring Do saga and our favorite Indiana Jones homage is still a fictional character. That's what the AU tag is about!

Twilight and Spike return to the Castle of the Two Sisters, only to find that their previous foray into its depths may not be what they remember.
This story is a sequel to Avocation
Life in Ponyville has been relatively quiet recently, which is somewhat surprising, given that the town's librarian tried to usurp the Equestrian throne only a few months ago. Aside from the appearance of a grumpy pegasus who set up shop as a cloudsmith, the aftermath is so unnoticeable that most ponies aren't even aware that the incident happened at all. Unfortunately, all that's about to change, thanks to the return of a certain revenge-obsessed showmare....
This is the fourth story in The Petriculture Cycle; reading the first three stories, which begin here, is highly recommended.
