My unicorn parents called me a worthless mud pony. They pushed me every day to overcome my lowly status. When I woke up one morning with my cutie mark, I thought they would love me. I couldn’t have been farther from the truth.

It was not destiny or enjoyment that led me to discover the cello and composing. My parents made that decision, deciding before I was born I would continue their family legacy of famous musicians.

They did not realize what that decision would cost them.

In a fit of pique, Twilight summons the Cutie Mark Inspector to Ponyville to conduct a cutie mark review of the townsfolk. When it transpires that every pony has been interpreting their cutie marks wrong, Ponyville is thrown into chaos. Has Twilight bitten off more than she can chew?

Really, she just downright hates it.

After chasing confidence to the bottom of bottles, Rarity, Fluttershy and Spike send a strongly worded letter to princess Celestia about their thoughts on rainbow power.

They didn't know what the outcome of the visit would be. All they could do is hope as the train whizzed down the track, that everything would be okay. That it wasn't to late, and that their world wouldn't come crashing down.

Taking him under her wing, Cadence sets up practice dates for the young dragon. But with each date, something grows underneath the surface. The dividing line blurs, and practice soon becomes reality...
