Author's Note: This is my tribute to not only the holiday, but my childhood, and my memories of my family during Christmas. As I am now celebrating the holidays on my own for the first time in my life.

Tempest Shadow had heard the rumors. Stories, told in frightened whispers by traders and wanderers, in the taverns and around campfires. The stories told of an almighty champion, a monstrous creature from far beyond the stars, that had come to defend Equestria from its enemies. The stories told it had slain dragons by the hundreds, broke the savage beasts of the Everfree like twigs beneath its boots, and torn down titans and monsters alike with its wrath. They said it wielded weapons that could turn mountains into gravel, and seas into desert. That it was clad in armor, that neither the sharpest blades, nor the mightiest magics, could pierce. The rumors said it was unstoppable, relentless, beyond the power of mare or beast to oppose, that it was. . . a god. Tempest had laughed at the rumors and stories, as she flew toward Equestria at the head of an armada, intent on the conquest of her weakling former homeland. Never once did she give the obviously absurd campfire tales even the slightest credence.

Long ago, the Seraphim granted power to the Doom Slayer that he might conquer the forces of Hell. The Doom Slayer has won, Hell lies defeated, and now he returns to the Seraphim's holy realm. His mission is not over though, he has promises to fulfill, rewards to collect, and as always, evil to defeat. Let those who would harm this sacred land tremble, for the Guardian of Equestria, has returned!

The star system Omega Centauri was just another oddity on a map to scientists in the not too distant future. But since it did, she was going to find just what had brought her to this foreign land and fused her with a ship. Now she and three thousand members of her crew prowl the Oceans of Equis, intent on finding the rainbow light that seemingly brought her here. But Yamato's return has stirred up the ocean floor, and creatures never before seen rise from the Abyss to claim the oceans as theirs.

Will Yamato wield her cannons in defense of the innocent life of Equis? Or will she turn her 18' turrets on those who would prevent her from returning to her previous life? A college student who has everything go right in his life going for him. Sure the past few years have been hard with dealing with the disappearance of his oldest brother, later pronounced dead. Then a few months ago his other older brother up and vanished as well. With no current leads, he decides to continue looking for his brother in his spare time while also continuing on the path to becoming an astronomer. On his way home stop at his local comic shop and after buying a set of anime DVDs his oldest brother had recommended he is thrust into an all-new world of magical technicolor anthro ponies.

Long ago, a terrible monster known as Ninetails unleashed a reign of destruction upon a distant land before being defeated by holy priests. While helping the land recover and purifying monsters, a fox they had in their care spawned a second tail. Despite knowing the risks, the priests believed she could be a force for good and began to train her in the ways of healing and purification. 

However, not long after gaining her third tail, word of her existence began to spread, causing her caretakers to fear for her life. They decided to send her to a distant land, a land of peace, harmony, and friendship. There, Princess Celestia found her and, interested in her ability to purify monsters, took the three-tailed fox in with the hopes she could save her fallen sister.

"Will she find acceptance and happiness among ponies? Will she save Luna? One thing is certain, her race's heritage and instincts won’t make it easy."
