Ambivalence befalls Trixie soon after her proposal to Twilight Sparkle. Such thoughts and feelings run circles in her head with no answers in sight, and Twilight's plans for the day may only come to worsen her mental struggle.

Rarity always believed that she knew exactly who she was, what she wanted, and exactly how she would obtain it. Then she fell for somepony wholly unexpected: Applejack. When unhappy tidings call Rarity to the frozen North to spend the Hearth's Warming holiday with her relatives, Applejack accompanies her into the family fray.

The ponies arrive in Whinnyapolis at a time of endings, and find that relationships can be fragile things, vulnerable to the cold. Rarity will search her past for the key to her future, but the old house at Maple Cove may not hold all the answers she needs. Perhaps, though, two ponies will learn that there really is no place like home for the holidays.

Once upon a time there was a slumber party. Once upon a time, a pair of friends gave each other a dare: one to enter the local rodeo when it came to town, the other not to enter. A gloomy night in Ponyville from a distant thunderstorm serves as the perfect backdrop for exploring a little unconventional romance for one of the town's most recent couples. However not too long into the experimentation, Twilight Sparkle's overzealous nature kicks the plan into a wall, or more accurately a bookcase.

Winter, for some ponies a fun time of the year where they get to play in the snow and skate on the ice. For some ponies, winter is but a bothersome time of year when the snow gets in their way and they try to keep warm each day. For Fluttershy, it is a lonely time of year, a time where she feels as empty as her house.

Each winter day, each and every year when the winter season comes, Fluttershy awakens to loneliness. This year though, things are slightly different. This year, she has somepony beside her to listen to her pains and try to fill the void of loneliness.
