There once was a time, when the Shadowbolts and the Wonderbolts lived together without argument. The Wonderbolts performed during the day and the Shadowbolts guarded the night, but the day that Nightmare Moon attempted to take control of the country of Equestria, the Shadowbolts followed. Celestia, alongside the Wonderbolts used the Elements Of Harmony to banish the shadowbolts and Nightmare Moon, Their power of light banished the Shadowbolts to what's now known as the Everfree forest, and Nightmare moon was sent to the moon. The wonderbolts and shadowbolts have never been seen together for 1000 years.
What would happen if a Shadowbolt and a Wonderbolt became friends? Would it start a war? Would anypony die in the process to return harmony between the two groups of elite fliers?
A chance encounter could change Equestria's history forever

It’s Hearth’s Warming Eve! The stockings are stuffed, the cookies are out, and the presents are wrapped. Everypony all across Equestria is preparing for a whole day of gifts, giving, and family togetherness. There’s just one slight problem.

Princess Luna hates Hearth’s Warming.

Only adding to her misery is the fact that she, not her sister, will be playing the part of Lunushka, flying around Equestria and delivering gifts to all the good little fillies and colts. With bumbling Shadowbolts, crazed children, and a mysterious scrooge who wishes to put an end to the annual holiday hindering her every move, will she be able to deliver all of her gifts before she brings Hearth’s Warming to a screeching halt?

Her first stop is Ponyville. Let the yuletide shenanigans begin.

After receiving a horrible test score from the Wonderbolts, her dreams were crushed. That was until a certain stallion in a Shadowbolts costume walked in and turned her nightmare night into the best night ever.

Each chaper is a complete story and with the exception of the first chapter it will not be necessary to read them in order.

Factory Meltdown- Fed up with Rainbow's constant broken promises Scootaloo abandons her admiration for the rainbow colored mare and for the Wonderbolts. However, even after failing her final test it seems she may have grand opportunity ahead of her.
Minor characters include: Applebloom and Sweetie Belle.
Very minor characters include: Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Featherweight.

Trixie: Future. Given an invitation to the Golden Oaks Library, the Great and Powerful Trixie must once again face her biggest and most fearsome rival. Only this time, over tea.

The Shadowbolts: Present. After their celebratory flight show for the Summer Sun Celebration, the Wonderbolts were ready for a good night's sleep. Unfortunately, we know something they don't. This is the night Nightmare Moon was fated to return.

The Diamond Dogs: Past. These mines once contained a proud and fruitful society. Once, that is. These days, a few gems in the wall won't get you too far. The bold and noble leaders of this great mine, Fido, Rover, and Spot, have some explaining to do if they don't want a revolution on their paws.

Ahuitzotl: Past. Every nemesis is only as good as his hero. A.K. Yearling writes a prequel to the Quest for the Sapphire Stone about how she first met the dreaded Ahuitzotl and how they both became who they are today.

Iron Will: Past. Iron Will wasn't always the legendary self-help guru. Once, he was just a little minotaur lost in a maze, trying to find his little brother.

Diamond Tiara: Note: Written before Crusaders of the Lost Mark, it doesn't match up with canon. Past. Once upon a time there lived the King of low, low prices and his daughter, the princess. Also, Randolph, the butler.

Gilda: Present. Griffonstone needs a leader. That much is clear. When the leader of the griffons is called to an international war summit, Gilda, of all griffons finds herself getting invited.

SpitFire and the Wonder bolts enjoy what they do but their flight leader SpitFire discovers that an old Childhood friend had sided with the ShadowBolts for Unforeseen reasons after not meeting with ThunderDancer for many years.

The two glared at one another. Spitfire and Nightshade. Captains of the Wonderbolts and Shadowbolts respectivly.

Neither willing to give up, neither willing to let up, neither willing to lose.

A battle of wills has begun.

The Shadowbolts: Illusions made to tempt Rainbow Dash away from her friends, or something more?

This is a story about five little ponies who had nopony in the world they could trust. A story about how even a villain can bring about friendship in eternal darkness. A story about what friends will do for one another, and for the dream that brought them together.

Princess Luna is tired of seeing Wonderbolts only race against Wonderbolts, and feels they've become a bit complacent strutting around like they own all of Canterlot. When she finds a few pegasus ponies passionate about racing, she pulls together these rag-tag group of racers in attempt to bring the Wonderbolts down a few pegs. But between the arrogant Night Arrow, the young and naive Cloud Crash, and the way-too-hyper Skylight, will this new team tear itself apart before they can prove themselves on the track?
