Ever since he was a foal, Light Flow had always known he was destined to be a villain—but not just any villain; no, he wanted to be a Necromancer.

He had always been obsessed with reading fiction stories about the forbidden practice of Necromancy, and much to his delight, his cutie mark spelled his unavoidable destiny as a member of his oh-so revered profession!

But Necromancy is extremely taboo, and very illegal. Equestria hadn't even seen a genuine Necromancer since the times of the fabled Nightmare Moon.

Substituting joy for dread, Light Flow knew that he would have to hide his especially special talent at any cost. Whether in his daily, mundane life as a bookish nerd, or in the heat of extreme danger.

Good thing he doesn't have any friends, right?

AN

I have deleted the old AN in favor of a new one.

Hello all! If you don't know me, then good! I'm a stranger, and it'd be weird if you knew who I am!

This is my first story, and basically my first experience writing something long-term. To that end, the beginning of the story is a bit rough, but I grew as a writer somewhat significantly as time went on, so it doesn't stay quite as bad!

The story itself has somewhat wavered from goal to goal as I argued with myself about what I wanted from it, though I eventually managed to settle. In its current state, it's mostly managed to stick to a strange blend of comedic tragedy interspersed sporadically with magical jargon and slice of life.

An added warning due to justified complaining: this experience can be very subdued. Not for the easily bored or angered. Personally, I tend to use Background Pony as a benchmark for a person's capability to withstand words.

Prepare yourself for lots of rants and barely coherent plot-threads! :pinkiecrazy:

Also i'm an idiot who probably tagged wrong.

Also i'm a bad person who stole a Jargon Scott image for the cover. (And then a wonderful person named Adin Terim edited it <3)

Phoenix came to Equestria two years ago through circumstances unknown. For two years, Phoenix had waited for Princess Celestia and her top scholars to answer one question: Will he be able to go home?

The answer finally came... And it was "No"

His new friends have, surprisingly, found he's taken the news quite well. Very well!... Maybe even too well. However, they never had a reason to doubt Phoenix wasn't doing as great as he said he was. That is, until he tells Twilight Sparkle he wants to explore his new home by walking from Ponyville to the Crystal Empire with no bits, the clothes on his back, and whatever he can fit into his small, makeshift backpack.

This story is a sequel to A Series of Great Ideas (Or Not)

Shining Armor is down on his luck. Princess Cadance hasn't contacted him in a week, and he's starting to question the state of their marriage. Hoping to cheer him up, his roommate, Flam, suggests they crash Lyra and Bon Bon's extravagant Canterlot wedding reception. The only problem? Princess Cadance is there, alongside several unexpected guests who have a bone to pick with something called "S.M.I.L.E." and its agents. One kidnapping later, and the stallions are on the run, fighting (and singing) for their lives.

It does not end well.

A romantic drama-comedy adventure sequel to "A Series of Great Ideas (Or Not)," about coincidences, consequences, craziness, and just how far one will go for love.

Rated T for sexual content and discussion of murder, kidnapping, infidelity, and alcoholism. Reading of the prequel is required if you want the story to make sense.

This story is a sequel to When Dating Advice Doesn't Work...

After being rejected by a mare he formed a crush on two weeks ago, Eric Reed starts to develop feelings for another mare, Sunset Shimmer. But fear of being rejected again, because of his "real-life" appearance, makes Eric hesitant to put himself out there to try to ask Sunset out.

Will he conquer his fear and ask Sunset to go on a date? If he does, how will Sunset, who's oblivious to her friend's changing feelings toward her, react?

And if she indeed says "yes" what's next for the two?

This story (obviously) has continuity from the story "When Dating Advice Doesn't Work..." story. However, enough will be explained to not require reading it to understand this story.

Both stories also take place after the events of my "A Giant Adventure to Equestria" story. But it is not required to read it either to know what's going on in this story, other than to learn how and why the human character Eric Reed is in Equestria, and how his bonds with the Equestrian characters formed. However, here is the link if you would like to check it out, and it is a 18-chapter story.
