It’s vacation time! And much to the chagrin of everycreature but Ocellus, Professor Rarity has given an assignment: use your unique skills to provide a service for your friends.

Ocellus has a great idea! In order to help propagate love, her service to her friends is the chance to take a practice run at admitting their feelings to their crushes, a task made easy by her changeling magic. It’s a great idea!

This story takes place shortly after She’s All Yak.

Starlight has a conversation with Pharynx about the significance of a changeling’s true form. In the process, she might just learn a thing or two about herself as well.

Twilight Sparkle has been abandoned.

After an expedition into the badlands is torn to tatters by an unprecedented monster attack, Twilight finds herself stranded in a hostile environment with no safe way back home. With no supplies and no survival training, It all seems hopeless for the scholarly unicorn until she is discovered by a type of creature she has never seen before. A changeling named Thorax, a native of the badlands.

With Thorax's knowledge of the environment, he is Twilight's best chance of getting home safely. And by that same token, perhaps Twilight is the best chance the timid, pacifistic drone has of discovering something he has lived his entire life without.

Set well before the Season 2 Finale.

Twenty years. Twenty years spent sitting on a stone plinth, with birds getting absolutely everywhere. That kind of experience can change a pony, or a changeling. As long as she stays ahead of the newspapers and mail service, that story might even hold up.

3. "Quantum Leap" – Prompt: This is the last line of a story: She closed the gate behind her, confident she would never need to open it again. Your prompt is to write the sequel.
Summary: Twilight finally returns home after getting lost in a series of alternate universes.

4. "Wingmares" – Prompt: Write a story in the second person in which the perspective character (i.e. “you”) is one of the Mane Six or Spike.
Summary: Rainbow Dash asks for Fluttershy's help fighting against a storm.

5. "Invisible Mare" – Prompt: Twilight Sparkle disappears, and only one pony remembers she was ever there at all.
Summary: Ponyville moves on after Twilight leaves for Canterlot

6. "Rainbows over Manehattan" – Prompt: Three ups and three downs of three ponies being in love.
Summary: The Cutie Mark Crusaders move to Manehattan and adjust to life in the Big Apple.

Summary: Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom help Scootaloo realize her dreams.

8. "Taken for Granite" – Prompt: Ship one of the mane six with someone who isn’t a pony.
Summary: Pinkie surprises the girls with the identity of her new lover.

9. "Seven Minutes in Heaven" – Prompt: Two are stuck in a room.
Summary: Unabashed Twishy shipping

10. "Love in the Time of Changelings" – Prompt: The only way out is if someone dies.
Summary: Pinkie and her changeling coltfriend, Instar, must escape from the Canterlot dungeons.

11. "Just Like You" – Prompt: All good things must come to an end.
Summary: To Scootaloo, Ponyville just isn't the same without Rainbow Dash around.

Contained herein are a series of scene sketches. I wrote them from prompts, focusing on one specific detail, and was limited to a severely small number of words. It was one of the most helpful things I ever did in my writing career.

1. Déjà Vu – Write a scene from a present and past perspective at the same time.
2. Body Language – Write a scene between two characters with no dialogue.
3. Phone Tag – Write one half of a conversation, and help the reader fill in the rest.
4. The Reluctant “I” – Write a first-person scene only using a first-person pronoun twice.
5. The Argument – Show an argument from the outside, without taking either participant’s perspective or side.

Hey, everyone. OtterMatt here. Just for the record, I’m not coming back to FimFic. Not ever. I’m sorry to say it, but my life has moved on, as it were, and writing just isn’t a part of it anymore. That being said, I love these stories of mine very much. There’s a lot of myself that I put into them, and at least a couple people have told me that these stories meant a lot to them as well. This story is a sequel to Princess Celestia The Changeling Queen: Stories Behind the Mask

At the Royal Wedding, Chrysalis and the Changelings were revealed to all of Equestria.

But another mask was torn away that day. A mask born for a thousand years. A mask created on one promise. A mask, that has become synonymous, fused, to its bearer.

A mask that when ripped off, causes Twilight, her friends and Luna to question everything they ever knew about the one pony, one very important pony.

At the Royal Wedding, the meaning of the phrase 'Princess Celestia' changes forever.

NOTE: Chrysalis is NOT Celestia!!! That'd be impossible to pull off.

This story is a sequel to Change

There are many changeling hives spread throughout a large portion of the world. Wherever love energy is going to be found the changelings will pursue it.

But now, one by one, they are disappearing.

Many hives located at the very outer edges of changeling inhabited lands are vanishing without a trace, Twilight Sparkle's family history has returned to haunt them all as something is hunting the changelings down. But how? And for what purpose? And more importantly, what does this mean for Queen Twilight Sparkle and the rest of the changeling race?
