This story is a sequel to The Umbra King

All is well in Ponyville. At least, that's what everypony says. One by one the residents of Ponyville begin acting strangely, calling into question the feeling of dread Rarity just can't seem to shake. A dark presence has slithered its way into Ponyville... one Rarity is sure she's felt before...

Will she be able to save her friends in time before its too late? Will the pony she fell for return, like in all her dreams? Only time will tell and she's quickly running out of it.

King Sombra is resurrected from the dark magic of a gem found by Rarity. Twilight takes it upon herself, as the Princess of Friendship, to attempt to help him. However, Celestia has warned Twilight that his heart is "black as night" - can he even be saved? Should they even bother? And what of the gem that resurrected him?

When trouble once again comes to Ponyville is seems as though Sombra's time is up. Twilight must decide if he is to be imprisoned or allowed to roam free and it seems Rarity will be the ultimate deciding factor.

With his dark past heavy on his mind, Sombra is put to the test as he begins a reformation process. Though his thoughts are clearer and no longer crowded with the influence of dark magic, his heart is none the lighter. Will Pinkie's motto of "Giggle at the Ghosties" be enough to turn a tyrant good? Or Will Sombra succumb to the power of dark magic once more? But more importantly, will the reason for his tyrannical rule finally come to light?

Inspired by a series of one shots and the very popular "Feeling Pinkie Mean", though with a more serious undertone.

The royal sisters are at war, a battle thats been raging for a little over 200 years.
And Every 10 years a mare is chosen to live with the Lord, Fluttershy is one of the few in the small side of Equestria that has been born under the year of Chaos, when she finds herself of age to be selected will she be chosen? or are there bigger things to fear than that of the rumoured immortal and powerful beast that protects the valley and looks to restore peace in Equestria.

Pinkie, after years of waiting and figuring it out, has finally been reunited with Sombra. And in another turn of crazy events, Sombra has proposed to her!

What will Pinkie's response be to Sombra's request for her hand?

Pinkie has tried hard to convince herself that she moved on from the incident at her graduation. But, when she visits the northern districts with her friends on catering business, she finds out that the man she's been running from has been there all along.

Will Pinkie be able to survive the trip, while avoiding the very person whose been on her mind for the past three years?

King Sombra, the tyrant of Crystal Empire is back, only to be imprisoned by princesses and put through reformation with Twilight Sparkle as his teacher. Can somepony with heart as black as night be reformed? Twilight believes so. Sombra in other hoof isn't so sure but something in that mare makes him try.

This is going to be one of my longest stories this far. Marked Teen for sexual innuendo and slightly gory-ish scenes. Nothing too bad though. Also this will not be a story that deserves a dark marking.

When Discord returned to Equestria, after a thousand years of restless imprisonment, he was the embodiment of insanity. When the good Ponies of the empire heard of his intentional release, they were flabbergasted. Why let this maniac roam free and wreak his "Chaos" everywhere? However, soon after his release Discord began to calm down. He was seen to possess a strong ethic and, an admittedly sporadic, reserve.

After a while Princess Celestia saw fit to put Discord to work, "for the good of Equestria." His most recent charge was to write a book on Chaos. Discord however, has other plans. He has been conflicted about the nature of his release and subsequent freedom. Ultimately he becomes obsessed with finding out the "real" reason he was freed.

This takes place in a Season Four cannon that exists without Rainbow Power and ends before the Finale, hence the AU tag. I might try to figure out how to canonize it fully at some point, but I'm not holding my breath.

After a terrible storm sweeps through the Everfree, Fluttershy finds the weakened but still powerful King Sombra on her doorstep. Unable to resist his dark magic, she finds herself trapped by a spell that forces her to aid him, protect him, and heal him until he is strong once more, all while keeping his revival a secret from her friends. Unwilling to risk bringing her friends into the situation and endanger them, Fluttershy decides on a riskier tactic

If she could reform Discord, why not the Tyrant of the Crystal Empire. After all, with his spell keeping her from betraying his presence, it might be her only hope. Can she kill the Dark King with Kindness? Or will the ancient sorcerer once more stretch his shadow across Equestria?
