Twilight's been living a charmed life on Butterfly Island. All her friends have reassured her that there's no need to leave the island because everything a pony could want is right here. They're doing it because they want what's best for her, right...?
Then a mysterious, secretive unicorn named Starlight Glimmer arrives to the island, with wild claims that Twilight has been lied to all her life, and the only way to escape her gilded cage is to do exactly as Starlight says. Starlight's a complete stranger to Twilight, but her story is too outlandish to make up. Which means it must be true. Which means obeying her is the right thing to do. Right...?
After all, you can't betray ponies who were never your friends in the first place....

For almost a millennium, Princess Celestia had nopony to spend her Hearth's Warming with. All the castle staff and the Royal Guard go home to their families, her students go on holiday break from the school... but as a lone ruler, who does she have to share the holiday with? For the longest time, the answer was 'nopony.'

But not anymore.

Inspired by the TV series The Goldbergs, various 80s pop culture, and Equestria Girls Fan 94's fanfic, Typical 80s Life!

When the citizens of Ponyville's Everfree District need their animals cared for, they turn to Doctors Fluttershy and Tree Hugger, veterinarian and herbalist. The two are famed for the kindness and care; something of a rarity in the Everfree District, where poverty and drugs have infiltrated every street.

So when the two notice that Lightning Dust is struggling with a drug addiction, they decide to help; it's their job, after all. But helping the proud mare with a problem she doesn't want to admit she has is not going to be easy, especially since there's more to this diagnosis than simply addiction.

There is no straightforward cure for all hurting mares. But with a bit of love and care, perhaps Fluttershy and Tree Hugger can help Lightning Dust get what she needs.

A side story of the Noireverse, this mini-project of mine is intended to focus on Fluttershy and the lives of the ponies in the Everfree District, as well as introduce my version of Tree Hugger and Lightning Dust to the series. Plus, Flutterhugger is a personal favorite ship of mine, and I wanted to write something about it.

This contains several references to the Noireverse at large: it's best if you're familiar with the Ponyville Noire series before reading this.

For the past few weeks, Terramar has been going to a dance club in Ponyville just to lay eyes upon and hear the voice of a very chatty and friendly kirin mare. Her name is Autumn Blaze, and she's all the young hippogriff can think about. He wants to ask her out, but he's not even just friends with her yet. Well that changes today. He's going to find his courage and break the ice... somehow.

Rainbow Dash has never really given much thought to the other creatures that share her sky, but all of that changes when she finds a bird caught out in her storm. As Fluttershy tends to its injury, Rainbow befriends the bird and soon learns a lesson that will likely change her life.
