The Closing Chapters · 1:55pm Nov 20th, 2019
Well, to be honest, I didn't expect to make this blog post for at least a few more months.
I had started this venture expecting Auroras and Souls to become my first completed project. I could never have planned for the wave of inspiration that followed.
Twilight Sparkle has written itself. This will be the first story I have ever managed to finish. I have written other works before, but never have I actually managed to write a novel style story and finish it. Although I believe I have at least four more chapters in the story, I'm surprised at how fast I have been able to finish this one.
So this is just a quick blog for all those Twilight Sparkle: A Canterlot Day followers to say thank you. And my first every full story will be completed within the next few weeks. Unrushed I promise. If it needs longer, I will take my time with it.
I have even started writing my next tale while I still work in finishing Auroras and Souls. It will be another post season 9 tale closely following Rarity as she looks to take a vacation, only there's a twist. This drama follows her heading to Sunset’s house as a getaway from Equestria with Rainbow Dash and Applejack for the first time since Twilight's last mirror venture.
I'm quite excited about this one, it's a bit different to Twilight Sparkle: A Canterlot Day for various reasons, and the first few chapters might be coming sooner than you think. Like I said, I have been hit by a wave of inspiration, and I'm really looking forward to finishing these stories. I've always been creative, but never been able to explore writing as an avenue, but I've had great fun reading others works and learning all sorts of new writing skills.
Hopeully the second half of Auroras and Souls will end up being a stunner after all this practice. I'm constantly adapting the chapters I have written, but it's not quite the same as writing from scratch.
Anyway, exciting things are afoot. These closing chapters are going to be quite fun I think.
