Hey friends!
A few weeks ago, the lovely GreyPon3 contacted me asking for my permission to write a sort of continuation of Something Like Laughter. I, being the benevolent god that I am, of course accepted—and what GreyPon came up with is actually pretty interesting.
Trixie's life is just fine. Wonderful, in fact. Everything is just going her way. Then why does she feel so miserable? She hasn't done a show in weeks or even been around anypony and why is she feeling the need to see her nemesis, Twilight Sparkle?
I've written [this story] in three formats. The first is my usual style of writing. This is what I'm most used to. The second is my first attempt at first person. I really like the story in this format. The last is in a style similar (I think) to Something Like Laughter. I liked reading the original story in that format but found writing it that way rather difficult.
As it says, although only the first chapter is available now, two more are coming in very different styles. I'm quite excited to see how GreyPon tries to emulate my own style in the third chapter—a style that even I have found quite difficult to replicate.
