I'm selling books at Everfree Northwest! Also writing SUCKS AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH · 12:23am Aug 8th, 2023

Hello friends! Long time no speak, considering how much I've been publishing.

First things first: I'm going to be at Everfree Northwest! It's my first time attending EFNW, and I'm mostly there to sell and promote my published fic collection, "The Essential Dubs Rewatcher: ...But the Kitchen Sink & Other Travesties." This is the first time it's been available since BronyCon 2019, and it sold out in a day back then, so I'm hoping for similar results this time! Stop by Twilight's Book Nook between Friday and Sunday to pick up your copy.

This new second edition of the book includes a redesigned back cover, five new stories, and -- for the first time ever -- the title written on the spine! What a revolutionary concept!

In addition, I'll be at Twilight's Book Nook to sign autographs on Friday from 1-2PM, and on Sunday from 1-1:30PM. I'll sign anything. Your book, your stomach, your baby. Anything!

Once the con is over, I plan on making the book available for purchase from Lulu's online store. But Everfree Northwest will be your only chance to snag an autographed copy, so if you'll be at the convention, consider buying it there!

(One disclaimer: The version of the book sold at Everfree Northwest contains an older version of my recent fic "Rhubarb Madness," written before I decided to extend it to 1000 words. Some might say it's outdated, but I call it exclusive!)

This will be my first time ever visiting Seattle, and I actually plan to spend more time touring the city than attending the con. I've already got a few excursions planned out, but if you have any Seattle recommendations, I'd love to hear them.

Next: The last time I wrote a blog post, it was to tease my upcoming fic Analemma. We're now about four months into the story's run, and things are heating up -- both in the story and in my real life.

I started writing Analemma in February. Originally I intended it to be just a series of completely unrelated vignettes, no story involved. Then one idea led to another, and my insatiable urge for drama took over, and I decided to turn it into a long-term story told over the course of 2023. Fun times!

When I started publishing the fic in May, I had more than a month of chapters written in advance. I figured that it would be more than enough to keep up an easy publishing schedule while continuing to write new chapters.

When we fight, we win!

Combine all this with being busy as hell at work and various family obligations, and you can understand why writing new Analemma chapters took a backseat for a while. And now I'm at the point where my backlog of chapters isn't just running low -- it's gone. I'm genuinely writing chapters as they come out now, with pretty much no time for extensive editing or redrafting. I'd love to take more time, but keeping to the 2023 timeline is extremely important to me, and we're nearing a pretty important point in the story.

I have the entire story outlined. And if I can keep my ADHD-riddled brain on track, I don't think I'll end up missing any deadlines, nor do I think there'll be any dip in quality. This fic is my baby, and I'm going to do my absolute damndest to keep it alive and well. And if you've enjoyed the story up to this point, I know you're gonna adore where it goes from here.

So in summary: I'll be at Everfree Northwest! Life is very busy! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

AAAAA! So much busy! But also yay books! And yay unions!

Fuck yeah! Congrats on unionizing and getting that contract, that's huge.

It's Dubs! I have it on good authority the the Dub variety of Rewatcher is the finest brand available. Accept no imitations.

When I came in one morning, there you were with your head half in the toilet. Your hair was in the toilet water. Disgusting.

My animation industry friend uses "onion" as the code for when union things are going on

We love to see some bloomin onions ✊

But that aside, you've had a ton of chaos in your life as of late! Here's to hoping things settle down in a good way. I know you'll continue to provide killer stuff! I owe you some Analemma comments since there's been a totally different kind of chaos on my end, but I'll make a point of it when I can because I have to tell you about the good shit you're doing. It's a must

See you at Everfree! I'll definitely be buying the essentials...

Good luck in your beginnings!!Kudos for sharing your story so to say.Congratulations on unionizing and on the successes you have ! Books are awesome hah. It's truly been a while since we've caught up, much like how time flies in school life nowadays with all the hustle and bustle.
I'm thrilled to hear about your upcoming adventure at Everfree Northwest! Your plans to promote and sell your fic collection, "The Essential Dubs Rewatcher: ...But the Kitchen Sink & Other Travesties," bring back memories of the excitement that used to surround conventions.
It's fascinating to see how your book has evolved with a new second edition. The redesigned back cover, additional stories, and even having the title on the spine are akin to how we adapt to new learning methods and technologies in today's educational landscape.
The autograph sessions sound like a blast, and your willingness to sign anything, from books to stomachs (that's quite the commitment!), reminds me of the camaraderie and unexpected friendships that can form during school projects and extracurricular activities.I remember struggling with my projects and assignments not so long ago.But happily a friend of mine introduced me to this amazing site https://gradesfixer.com/ which helped me overcome all my problems.I was amazed on how many interesting texts it had about everything.I hope it will help you as it helped me with my assignments.Kudos for sharing btw
here's a unique touch – the older version of your fic "Rhubarb Madness" in the convention edition of your book. It's a bit like discovering a hidden gem, just like unearthing forgotten memories from our school days.
Lastly, your plan to explore Seattle during your visit adds a touch of adventure to your trip, reminiscent of how we seek new experiences and knowledge during our academic journey. If you need any recommendations for Seattle, don't hesitate to ask – it's just like how we used to share study tips and tricks to navigate the challenges of school. Enjoy your trip!
