But Why · 6:31am May 2nd, 2015
My pal Dunsparce already made a blog about this, kinda, but it's an issue I want to bring up again
Why do people put links in the pictures of their blogs? When I'm scrolling through my feed, I don't want to click on an image and then be directed to something. If it's an attempt to hook more people into the story they're promoting, it actually leaves me far less inclined to want to read that story. In fact, it goes the same for youtube videos and dA pieces. I don't want to view that video or art after I just got yanked away from scrolling through 200-300 messages on my feed. It takes a while for that shit to load again.
So don't do that guys
two people i like and respect a lot on this site do it and it irks me so much because I can never get a casual look at their blog, grr
also, no episode review until much later than usual tomorrow. I have to take the SAT in the morning.
bleh
Oh my gosh this this this a hundred times! I've been meaning to make a blog bitching about this for months, but I have been too lazy too. People, put the word "link" or "source" below the picture and throw the link there! Cough cough SS&E
I know your pain.
I think that's happened to me twice. It was two times too many.
This happens to me every day I come here and update my feed. It is SO annoying, because the picture doesn't show itself until I click it, and then clicking it to show itself then TAKES ME AWAY FROM THE BLOG I WANTED TO READ.
Knock it off, Fimficcers.
Edit: Knock it off, Fimficcers.
I vote for this to be a site-wide post.
Holy hell do I hate that shit.
I've been bitching about this since blogs first got moved into that fucking tumblresque clusterfuck.

The way the feed is organized is exactly the same way the entirety of tumblr is organized.
I know that feel man.
*blinks*
You can put links in the picture, so that when you click the picture, it acts like a hyperlink? How? Since when?!
I know you do not watch me, but the most I do is add a (Source) link beneath the picture, so they can commonet on it there or add it to their faves on DA if they want...
I did it like, twice, but then I found out how annoying this is.
This. It annoys the hell outta me. SS&E does it all the time, and I've honestly stopped reading his stories and viewing his blogs because of it.
I changed the way the RCL posts are formatted because of this complaint, and I still don't understand what the problem is. c.c
This is literally the truest thing I have ever read, preach it brother!

learn what words mean or what hyperboles are before
speakingtyping :^)As someone who has to regularly scroll through 1000+ messages in my feed every week, I cannot agree enough. Do you know how long it takes to load everything all over again after I'm dragged away to another site.
>use the third mouse button

This. I hate having to scroll down for the next couple of minutes because I wanted to look at a picture.

>Implying we want to go to the link at all.
3037641 click it with the third mouse button
if there is no link nothing happens
if their is a link simply click the tab with the third mouse button again, immediately closing the tab
There you go, bro.
3037774 not everyone has a third mouse button
myself included

3036508 I had no idea you could even do it but why would someone put a link in a picture seems kind of sneaky.
