Read-It-Later List: Reaction Blog #2 · 5:45am Mar 15th, 2015
As I begin typing this, it is only 10:15pm for me. This means that this blog will contain far less of my unfocused vaguely-philosophical ramblings than (probably hypothetical) readers of my previous blog posts may have become accustomed to.
Now how did I do this last time...
Safe
A dark/everyone story, interesting combination... Only tagged character is Apple Bloom. I'm not sure what to expect from this, but the description intrigues me. That said, I'm not sure my current mood fits this story - I'm more in the mood for funny things right now, I think.
I don't have much to say about the story itself. Maybe I would have more to say if I was in the mood for darker stories, or maybe it's just a story I didn't like much. I kinda hope that the former is true because I feel a little bad highlighting a story on my blog only to go "Actually I didn't like it".
Anyway, moving on to something sillier.
Stretchy Coconut
Now this story is far more promising, given my current mood.
Unfortunately, my computer is being dumb right now, so this will probably have to wait an hour or so. I'm sure I can edit this later.
Edit 3/18/2015:
So, turns out my computer needed to be sent off for repairs. Luckily I'd made a backup before it died, so anything I may have been planning to write, the notes have been saved and transferred onto my temporary replacement laptop. I may or may not produce more review-ish things soon.
My current strategy for getting through my read-it-later list is to first separate out the completed stories, then read those in order of shortest to longest. Right now, the five stories up next are as follows:
1. Kindred Spirits - Random / Slice of Life - Majin Syeekoh
2. Stretchy Coconut - Random - Majin Syeekoh
3. Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger - Sad - A Hoof-ful of Dust
4. To the Sun - Slice of Life - Titanium Dragon
5. No Ship to Sail - Sad / Dark - Noir de Plume
Unless I find something shorter by the next time I write, these stories will be the next targets of my weird midnight ramblings. And if I manage to get through and write about them all at once, looks like I'm in for some Mood Whiplash. CelestAI help us all.
