    Thinking of Dystopias...

...and ponies, and potential crossovers. The probability of me actually writing this (or anything for the site) is still rather low, but I somewhat randomly remembered one of the story ideas I'd been thinking about a while ago. Well, that led to me remembering a couple of the ideas I had, and looking back at my old blog posts reminded me of many more, but that's not important right now.

    Headcanon Contributors

So... this blog is for keeping track of what, specifically, the stories on my Headcanon Contributors shelf have contributed to my headcanon. Because sometimes, it is not something obvious. In theory, this is something I'll update as I add things to that shelf. In practice, who knows?

The Day The Chaos Stopped by alarajrogers - The whole thing, I'm pretty sure.

Fake It Till You Make It (S8E4)

This reaction is super late, I know. But I was so disappointed in The Maud Couple when it came out, that it took me a while to want to watch again. However, I loved this episode. Not sure how much of that is because Fluttershy is the character I relate to most, and how much is the episode quality.

    The Fair Folk

(A note before we begin: I tend to use the words fairy and faerie in slightly different ways, depending on which type of entity I mean. If I am talking about a relatively friendly, Disney-ified being, I use fairy. If I want to talk about a more mythical, more dangerous kind of being, I use faerie. It doesn't really matter, general opinion today seems to be that the

    Caught Up?

So I finally watched the Season 7 finale episodes last night. I'd have to rewatch it before attempting to give any opinion on quality, but I do very much appreciate the increased historical lore that this season has given us. For the moment, I am happy.

So... this blog is for keeping track of what, specifically, the stories on my Headcanon Contributors shelf have contributed to my headcanon. Because sometimes, it is not something obvious. In theory, this is something I'll update as I add things to that shelf. In practice, who knows?

The Day The Chaos Stopped by alarajrogers - The whole thing, I'm pretty sure.

Gee, Tempest, Why Are You So Tall? by Super Trampoline - The idea of "heartsongs" and them being a recognized thing in-universe.

True Love's Kiss by bats - The waiter at the cafe.

Watch! Watch! by horizon - The existence of Shops Selling Two Things Avenue. Almost nothing else.

Whom the Princesses Would Destroy... by GhostOfHeraclitus - The "Irritatingly Long Gallery". Also, various Daring Do novels mentioned by title.

...You Quit?! by Jay David - The idea of the Necklace of Unrelenting Wickedness. Also, from the comments, the Ancient Book of Antiquity (the book's title in-story being the Ancient Book of Ancientness)

The Zebra's Verse by Between Lines - The entire thing, definitely.
