2328936 Next chapter has four major scenes and is at ~3.7k words, roughly. Two of the four scenes are done, and there are tiny little bits spread along the way that act like mini-Chekhov's Guns for later chapters.

You should expect the next update...when it's done. (Sorry, not gonna be any chapter splitting/random posting of this next bit. You'll get it as soon as I finish it.)

Akumokagetsu has prereader access to the next chapter, I suppose you could always ask him how it's progressing.
