Hello world!

Well, I've finally gotten off my high horse of Equestria Daily, time to slum it a little with the uncouth types who inhabit this place. Honestly, you ragamuffins have almost no quality control; makes it so dashed hard to find the good stories that do get posted here. Well, be grateful you lesser men, because Sir Ginger is here to brighten your lives and become your favourite author. Obviously when I link my readers here from EqD I will have the number of views that I deserve, until then I will look like I am merely...ugh... one of YOU. And I think I saw a poor person this morning. Honestly.

Well, hello everypony (who hasn't already scrolled down to violently and justifiably flame the absolute ever-loving shit out of me for the above paragraph), Sir Ginger here for the first time. Truth is, I'm already enjoying my stay here. I can comment better on the fics I like, interact better with my fanbase (a lovely word, makes me feel special) and generally socialise online like a good brony should. I can thank nasc2 for persuading me to get involved here properly.

Every chapter of So Long and Thanks will be posted here, as well as on google docs for Equestria Daily. This site gets chapter titles, and the docs get author's notes wherein I ramble on about my updating schedule and moan about my own lack of motivation; Sound like a fair trade off?

Also up for posting will be any other projects I decide to work on, of which I do have a couple.

P.s. I am looking for a better avatar, if anyone out there would be willing to draw a tall blue earth pony stallion with swept ginger hair, a top hat, a mad grin and some Groucho Marx glasses on his flank I would more or less do anything to get them to do so.

this is one is an epic(in my opinion) bioshock 2 crossover. here is another good bioshock crossover link :D. another story, this one is a silent hill crossover, link: warning, this is a cupcakes parody, but it is friggin awesome.. there is a sequel, actually 2 or so. there is about 5 or 6 silent hill crossovers that i know of. just type in "silent ponyville" in the search engine, and you'll find 'em. and here is my most favorite story so far(in the romance/action category)(it was probably on EQD though, but here is the link)

I wanted to recommend "background pony" but it seams you already read it :)
I think you should also like this one "The Day My Beard Turned Into Pinkie Pie" if you did not read it on EqD before.
IMHO it is really hard to find something good here using search. Also most good stories from fimfiction are published on EqD.
The only way except EqD i found for myself - is watching several writers (including you :) for new things and checking other bronies favorites.
