The Good Grammar Directory, a Home For Stories With Good Grammar · 1:31am Jul 2nd, 2013
Hello, Fimfiction and followers,
I have started a new group called the Good Grammar Directory.
Are you are tired of clicking on stories on the front page, only to see this?
"rainbow dash went to pinkies house and knocked on the door. pinkie answrered and said. “hi Dashie, whats up. Wanna play some pranks.” Sure, rainbow said. “Great”, pinkie repleid."
It's too bad that you can't filter stories based off of grammar. Well now, with the Good Grammar Directory, you can! Don't rely on the front page for stories anymore. Instead, find stories on the GGD.
At the Directory, we pride ourselves on our grammar standards. Our goal is to have the largest directory of stories on Fimfiction, and to only include stories with good grammar. Basically, we want to be just like Fimfiction itself would be if the proofreaders were allowed to fail stories for grammar.
Want your story included, and think your grammar measures up? Head on over to the group to read more about our rules of inclusion for stories.
Unfortunately, it's not grammar that makes a story.
See this. It was my first draft. It's been noted how grammatically polished it is, but... well...
It hurts to read.
1182350 Though it's true that good grammar doesn't make a good story, I would also argue that it IS true that bad grammar makes a bad story. I've yet to see an engaging narrative written that was also chock full of errors.

Well, this one's not as bed as it could be. I edited the first segment of Ch. 1 myself. Look beyond that and you'll find just enough errors to irk you. Its L/D ratio remains 5/3 for a good story but haphazardly written, no-time-for-second-drafts style.
