So it's been awhile. I've still been writing and reading and now editing. I've joined TECS, a fantastic group of bronies trying to improve the quality of fics. I've had the good fortune to work with some talented critics, it's helped me step up my game when it comes to writing. On that front I have good news and bad news.
The bad news it I've gone through no less than 3 editors. I've tried editing my own fics and I just miss too many mistakes. I refuse to post something that hasn't had another pair of eyes check it. But finding a good editor is really tough, some of them promise to edit your work but don't follow through.
Other's have some real life stuff that seriously impacts their ability to edit. I feel for ya friend. And I'll keep writing, just for you.
The good news is I found the proofreaders group and through them I got in touch with a very nice proofreader. Seriously, the bottomless well of kindness that is bronies never ceases to amaze me.
I might post a story update soon, hopefully sometime next month. It's been in the works far too long; I'm glad it's almost finished.
