100 crazies?! · 6:41pm Dec 30th, 2014
I checked FIMFiction this morning to find I had 100 followers. I remember starting out thinking, "Wow, wouldn't it be cool to have 10,000 followers like <super-popular-author>?"
I wasn't until I wrote my first story and started following authors myself that I realized how tough that is. I feel like I should be thanking everyone. I am going to thank everyone, the only way I know how: with a new story...
If it were finished :S
I'm super motivated to finish my rough draft. I'm almost there, and then it's off to editing. I promise to have it published before long. I apologize to anyone that doesn't know this about me, but I don't publish chapter 1 of a story until the story is finished. I know, I know, that isn't how most author's do things on this site, but if there's one thing I hate more than anything its a story without an ending. I promised myself I wouldn't do that to you, gentle readers.
So just hold yer horses, I'm workin' on it. I promise!
You're not alone, and I don't just mean because you have 100 readers watching your every move
I write and edit a complete story before publishing a single chapter. Seeing a great story sit in incomplete for months is depressing.
I might be out of the Whitewalls sooner than you think, if you saw my last post, so by the time you're done, I just might be up for starting on that bad boy sooner rather than later!
