    Very Little Interest

I've felt such a distance as of late. I suppose it happens when you haven't really been into a series after a while. Season 3 just really killed it for me, and what interest sparked in the show just hasn't been there anymore. I look at what I've written, what I want to write, and it's not coming to me.

Huh...never really done one of these before. Guess I'll give it a whirl. If you're tagged, hope this doesn't bother you!

Rules:
1. You must post the rules.
2. Each person must post 5 things about themselves in their journal
3. Answer the questions the tagger set for you in their post, and create eleven new questions for the people you tag to answer.
4. You have to choose 11 people to tag and post their icons on your journal.
5. Go to their page and tell them you have tagged them.
6. No tag backs
7. No stuff in the tagging section about "you're tagged if you're reading this". You legitimately have to tag 11 people.

Five things about me:

1. I have an incredibly fast metabolism, so I'm almost always munching down on something. It's enough that I get tired or dizzy if I don't eat in a certain set amount of time, which is usually 2-3 hours, so I usually have a small snack with me. It keeps me pretty fit, but I'm almost unattractively skinny, so there's a downside to that as well.

2. My favorite sport is boxing. Sure, it's dying, and not as popular as it used to be, but I've always loved it, enough to even pick it up myself a tad. My Dad trained me to defend myself when I was a kid, and I've done a couple rookie matches, but nothing professional. People don't believe me when I say that I can fight, but that's okay. Looks can be deceiving sometimes, no?

3. I'm an incredibly avid gamer for RPGs and retro games, with the occasional shooter. If it has swords, sorcery, and a bit of world-saving that needs to be done, put that controller in my hand and get right on it.

4. I'm mixed Filipino, but my pasty white and pale skin wouldn't tell. I took after my Mom's side of the family, she's french, while my father is as dark as dark could be. He, along with my sibling and a handful of my relatives, all look like they came from right off the islands with their skin and smut-black hair, while I stick out like a sore, white thumb in family photos.

5. I absolutely love to draw, and one day hope to make it a career in adulthood. I've always loved comics and graphic novels, and I want to self-publish myself or work under an independent publisher to get my works out. I'm a long way from being a professional, but maybe one day I can stand among the comic titans like Stan Lee, Alan Moore, or even Will Eisner.

Questions by Blue Print:

1. What possessed you to start writing fanfics?
It was way back in 7th grade and my geekiness began to show. I took it as sort of a hobby, an outlet at first, but as I become interested in more media, I decided writing about them would just as much fun as watching or reading them. Suffice to say, my first works were terrible, and my grammar was atrocious, but I'm glad to say I've improved quite a bit since then, but still a long way to go if I want to be a 'good' fanfic writer.

2. What was the moment that you realized that you were a brony?
It was the middle of season 2 just earlier this year. 'The Super Cider Squeezy 6000' was one of the first episodes that I had watched. I had heard of the MLP phenomena sweeping the internet, and at first, I was very cautious over the new memes overtaking cyberspace. I tuned in and decided to watch it. Being an animation buff, I was surprised to see Lauren Faust's name in the opening theme song, and that's what got me hooked. The colors, the voice actors, the story, and especially the animation caught me. As I sat alone in my living room(I would not dare gaze upon the show with my family around), watching a defeated Flim and Flam run off into the sunset, and Applejack giving Celestia the greatest friendship report ever, I paused for a moment, a look of sheer terror falling upon my features. "Oh no...I'm one of them now." I whispered fearfully, then began my descent into ponydom, a pit I shall never return from.

3. How often do you write? This includes both pony and non-pony.
I try to write every day, whether it be a hundred words or five thousand. Most of my time is divided into pony works and even original ideas, though I don't pursue the latter more than the former.

4. What is love, and how do I shot web?
Love is a concept, and very strong concept and emotion at that. It's...hard to explain. For centuries, mankind with its many philosophers and poets have pondered, what is love? It is telling one you hold dear those exact words, it is giving another something without expecting something in return, and it is so beautiful...so powerful. As for the second question...have you considered being bitten by a radioactive spider? I do believe that can help you 'shot web'.

5. Is there a story that you wish you could write, but feel unequal to? What is it?
Man, if you only knew. I want to write a story that will get me up on Equestria Daily...one that will entertain others just as much as it entertains me and is so well written, it could have been published and earned me some dough. But that's vain, and I just want to write for the pleasure of it.

6. Who do you most admire on Fimfiction? Pick three.
Whoo boy, here we go. To top them all, I admire Rust with the most respectful passion ever. Every brony on here sounds so much more manlier than I do, but this guy stands above the rest just a smidge more. He's actually one of the authors I draw most of my inspiration from when writing, and as his work shows, they're amazing. Next off, AestheticB. This bloke is truly awesome and has written a fic that deserves way more than what its getting, 'The Immortal Game'. Even his comedy can stand solid. Lastly, Alpha Scorpii. His works are genuinely sweet, and he's been my longest friend here on fimfiction, dating back to when I first joined.

7. What works of literature, fiction or non-fiction, most inspire you and your work?
I draw inspiration from literally everything that I love, whether it be a movie, a videogame, a book, or from real life itself. Usually fantasy, action, and sci-fi related stuff fills my banks, such as superhero comics like Batman or Spider-man, LotR, anything Bioware's come out with, D&D, and a plethora of other things.

8. What is your favorite piece of headcanon?
That despite her differences and out of touch tune with modern times, Princess Luna fuckin' loves heavy metal, especially subgenres that relate to the times of a thousand years that she came from, like folk metal, power, or even death metal.

9. Which pony or ponies do you love least?
The least? I generally like every character, but Rarity usually leaves me feeling pretty 'meh' about her. She's a great pony and all with her generosity and her design, but she comes off as snarky and a pretty egotistical sometimes.

10. Which ponies have the most character depth in your opinion?
I would say Luna, seeing as how she's my favorite pony and how much she's been through(Being transformed into a villain, banished for a thousand years, reforming and coming back provides such much FUCKING DEPTH to be explored), but seeing as she's had very few appearances, I can't say her. What I can say is that in my opinion, Twilight Sparkle has the most depth, seeing as how she centers as the main character and protagonist of the show most of the time. She's been hoof raised as a child to be their goddess's pupil, and Celestia has hinted that she's preparing Twilight for something 'more', whatever that could be.

11. What common life philosophy bugs you the most?
Most currently, that the arts are useless. An advocate from a college came down one day to talk to me and my classmates about jobs and our future, and she was preaching some superfluous bullshit that 'having a high paying job will make you happy and make life so much easier, like being a doctor or a lawyer'(not saying that those jobs aren't awesome if you want to be one). I asked that "What if that's not what you want to do? What about what makes you happy? Some people here might want to do osmething esle entirely, like be a teacher, or a director, or an actor, or something else entirely. I want to be an artist when I graduate." She gave me the most fake, shit-eating grin I had ever seen, batted her eyelashes, and laced as much cyanide into her sweet words as possible. "Oh honey, those are really dumb jobs! You'd probably go hungry if you became an artist! Sure, it might take you 8-9 years to become a lawyer, and 12+ for a doctor, but its worth so much more, even if those jobs are a tad more stressful."

My Questions:

1. Own any pony memorabilia or merchandise of your own?
2. Has there been anyone in your life that you've just felt the need to tell them to SHUT UP?
3. What's something that you nitpick about MLP: FiM?
4. Is there anything 'taboo' in your culture that you don't find that really offensive at all?
5. Is there any other hobby that you enjoy?
6. What is your opinion on any generation older than Friendship is Magic, if you've ever seen any?
7. If there was to be a crossover of MLP and any other form of fiction, and it was to be successful, what would you crossover?
8. Any specific scene of any episode of MLP: FiM that you just absolutely loved?
9. If you could hold an hour's conversation with any character from the show, who would it be?
10. If there as one thing in the world that you could fix, what would it be?
11. Ever done anything that you're proud of related to the show?

What is this about???

It's a meme thing. You get tagged, and you tag another person to do the same, but it's not obligatory.

Huh. Never been tagged (I want to but I haven't)

Huh, why did you pick me? I haven't done anything much and don't know 11 people here, Hmmmmm, actually, to knightly and regidar...away! Will do it tomorrow.

HALP! After all this time, I don't know what a journal is. Sooo, i'm supposed to make my own blog post, and put the rules in it, then provide five facts about myself, answer your questions, create eleven questions, tag eleven people and tell them that they've been tagged? How do I embed the link?
If you help me to understand what I must do, then I shall do it.

I am flattered :twilightblush: Thank you!
