Godzilla's Lost Child

After being frozen in ice for so long, Godzilla rampages through cities to avenge the death of his daughter. What he finds isn't what he had expected.

Godzilla, the King of Monsters. A terrifying beast of epic proportions, but he wasn't always this way. He was supposedly the last of his kind, the last Godzillasaurus, or at least he thought he was. When the United States bombed the city of Hiroshima, however, the excess radiation caused him to mutate into the form we know.

Eventually, after the death of his daughter, he decided that the humans should pay. He put up a good fight, yes he did, but the humans eventually defeated him and froze him in ice. Now, millions of years into the future, he finally breaks out and rampages into what he thinks is the Upper Canadian regions of North America.

But this isn't North America, well, at least not the one he knew anyway. He'll be in for a big surprise, and so will a certain purple pony. What exactly, all I have to say is... tune in to find out.

This is a reboot to my old story: Daughter of Godzilla. Since there are complaints of a messy plot, I made this story. Let's put this revival to the test, shall we?

Prologue

Long, long ago, in an island near Hiroshima, Japan, a creature resides. It was the last of the non-avian dinosaurs, closely related to dinosaurs like Majungasaurus and Carnosaurus. This is a Godzillasaurus, tall, grey, and about the size of an elephant. He was the top predator of the island, and the last of his kind on it. Nearby, the detonation of a nuclear bomb occurred, obliterating Hiroshima and sending radiation all over the place, taking out the island as well. But somehow, against all odds, the Godzillasaurus survived the explosion, and mutated into something big. The Kaiju King was born.

His brain couldn't handle the new intelligence, and had new feelings inside him, anger, revenge, and several other things have accumulated in his mind as he decided to destroy Tokyo. The Proto-Godzilla rampaged through Tokyo, destroying everything and everyone in sight. He was the last of his kind, and those damn humans had turned him into the first. He never that that in all his life that he would get the feeling of loneliness. That is why he will punish man, but the humans came back with something else. They used their so-called Oxygen Destroyer to take him down, but it only turned him into the Godzilla we all know and love.

As soon as the King of the Monsters returned, he did not take any more chances. He returned to Tokyo larger and more powerful than he ever was before. Once again did he challenge mankind and once again did he wind up losing, this time being imprisoned inside a mountain. He got out, fought the giant plant monster known as Biollante. After that catastropher was over and Biollante's spores floated off into space, he eventually found a female Godzillasarus with the same mutations he had. The two decided to mate and produce three offspring, two of which were boys, and one of which was a girl. They were still unhatched, so there was no way for them to know their genders yet.

The soon-to-be mother of the three hid her eggs away not only from the humans, but also from the ferocious three-headed dragon that was King Ghidorah. Godzilla once again had to fight someone else and once again defeated another foe. After defeating his draconic foe, Godzilla decided that the next matter was to raise his children. He waited for months for them to hatch, and the humans were starting to get suspicous on what Godzilla was up to. They scoured the globe, looking for him with every piece of equipment that they could find until one day, they saw that Godzilla was apparently a father.

Two of the three children have already hatched by the time they have managed to find out about Godzilla's whereabouts. They noticed the three and knew if there was more of Godzilla's kind, there would be even more trouble. So, they decided to destroy the only unhatched egg left. They invented a powerful weapon that was designed just for that purpose, and intended to use it on the egg, not knowing what it was. They did not want to risk interbreeding between Godzilla's offspring.

And that was exactly what they did. But you should never bite the hand of the beast. The weapon was successful in its mission just as the baby hatched, but not as successful as one would hope, only taking out the unhatched egg, and was destroyed by an angry . The mother died of "natural" causes and passed away before the boys hatched. The death of his child was what made the King of Monsters snap. He wast the last, then the first, and now, he was the last once again.

Not long ago, his other two children were found and killed not by humans, but by a giant, insectoid kaiju known as Megagirus. He fought and defeated her in a matter of minutes in revenge, but now. NOW! His only daughter was gone too. The line was crossed, and the King's rage was finally coming out. All the rage he had in store all those years, he now used it on several of humankind's most powerful and sacred cities one by one. Great religious cities were utterly decimated. The called him a devil, they were out to kill him in the name of their gods. But what god is there to save them from his rage? Japan, the Koreas, Vatican City, and Luxembourg were all taken down, and entire cultures lost thanks to the mad king.

The humans knew why Godzilla was mad at them, but they decided to do something about it. They sent a squadron of planes to distract Godzilla from destroying them and diverted his attention. The King of the Kaiju was led into the polar regions of the world, and that's where they wanted him to be. Once they decided that he was far enough in, they released their missiles, and in the next moment, their gargantuan enemy was finally gone.

But the tale of Godzilla was not done yet. His body remained intact year after year. The continents drifted ever so slightly here and there, but nothing budged him. Millions of years passed, and then, he finally escaped from his frosty prison. He did not know how long he was trapped, he had no way of telling. But he did have one thing left inside him: rage. He was still mad at the humans at the facts that they took his daughter and sealed him twice.

The King of Monsters swam through the cold, murky waters lit by a now purple night. The night was now purple, not black? Well, more light was provided, but it seemed off somehow. Godzilla shook his head and returned to the task at hand. The King of Monsters swam across the sea, looking at the various islands around the area. Godzilla peaked his head and mountains in the distance.

There's land up close, he could sense it. Godzilla swam closer to the continent or the large island, whatever it is, and saw lights out there in the distance. When he came closer, he took notice of fireworks shooting from the sky. So not only are they still around, but they are also celebrating his demise? Well, they'll be in for a big surprise once they see him.

Ducking back into the water, Godzilla swan until his spines became clearly visible. He then went into an upright position and walked the rest of the way, causing a tsunami to destroy the coastal areas. Godzilla smirked. He was back and fired up. The fireworks, weren't so much. As the inhabitants looked towards the mighty beast, they panicked. As Godzilla trekked further inland, the inhabitants became more clear to him. They were not human, but were apparently some type of equine creature. Some had wings, some had horns, others had neither of any. Either he was trapped in the ice for too long or he was so hungry that he was starting to hallucinate. He did not feel hungry, though. Shrugging it off, he proceeded to rampage through the city, fixating on the biggest and explosive things he could find.

He wanted to do it to a human city, but they were replaced, he did not know how, by weird horse creature things. His rage was still inside him, and he needed to take it out. They mimicked the long-past humans of yesterday quite well, only without advanced artillery and technology, but it was fair enough. Godzilla roared out into space and resumed his rampage to dampen his fury.

The King of Monsters didn't expect HORSES to become dominant. No matter, he's still very mad, and he needs to do something, just something that's able to quell his rage.

The Beast Continues

When Godzilla defeated Biollante, her spores went into the sky for one final time. A human girl's face could be seen by at least one man before he was shot. But that wasn't about the man. Some of Biollante's spores were unknowingly carried to the sky by Mothra and were sucked into a black hole, with the cells of the three merging with crystalline organisms and energy from supernovae, slowly evolving over thousands of years into a new creature. It was similar to Godzilla, but was blue, had a crown on its head, and had two large crystals on its shoulders. A new creature was born and emerged from a white hole somewhere in the galaxy.

The new mind its first goal: to take over a world that it never knew about. Its crystals enlarged and propelled it into space, causing it to fly towards a set location. It will take thousands of years for it to get there, and it will get there, at least it thought it.

--<Present Day>--

A small, purple alicorn walked into the library and began to read one of her books in front of a fireplace. Twilight wasn't born an alicorn to begin with. She was born as a unicorn up in Canterlot to Twilight Velvet and Nightlight, and got her cutie mark and unlocked her raw magical potential thanks to the sonic rainboom that Rainbow Dash preformed a long time ago. She is still in her teens and she is already so successful, even ascending to alicornhood and becoming the Princess of Friendship. So many challenges were beat, so many obstacles were overcome, and now, she even has her own castle. It was a long ride and look where she is now.

But suddenly, a there was a knock on the door. Twilight opened it to see a couple of Royal Guards standing outside. They bore expressions of tiredness and of fear.

"Princess Twilight, we have bad news from Manehattan. It was destroyed..." one of the guards said. Twilight dropped the book and stood up. She was afraid, yet spoke.

"What was it destroyed by?" Twilight asked.

"Well, for starters, it was bigger than the largest Ursa Major. It was a giant, bipedal, wingless dragon with grey scales and abnormally large spines on its back. The thing tanked our magic like it was nothing." another one of the guards said.

"Where is it heading?" Twilight asked.

Godzilla marched through the plains, thinking about what he had seen. These new insects, they threw everything they could at him, yet they were even less suited to deal with stuff like him than the humans. Technology-wise, they lacked electronics and cars, and trains are the only automated source of transportation. Planes weren't invented, and Zeppelins were the dominant air transport. Such a backwater land when compared to what he had seen, mainly because of their dependence on magic.

Sure, Godzilla knew very well of magic but he thought it was just an old fairy tale. Nonetheless, he was impressed by the fact that it turned out to be real, even though he was immune to it. But what he was unimpressed by was what these insects used it to do. They rigged nature itself. He saw them bump into clouds, zapping lightning at him. He hoped that it was nothing more than a form of security used against giants like him. The electricity had no effect on him, nor did rain nor wind.

Pitiful. To him, it was just pitiful. This race probably didn't face anything like him. As he marched forward, he stepped on something that almost made him scream. He lifted his foot to see what remained of a small town and some blood. Gross, insect remains. Ignoring the remains of the insects and the town, he marched forward and decided to march alongside a mountain range.

Some time later, he came across a giant bear with purple starry fur. Sure, it was big when compared to the bears he saw, but it only came up to his chest, even when in bipedal position. He had to admit, he was kinda hungry. So he pounced upon his kill without a second though. It fought him, but it was no match for the King of Monsters. Even without his atomic breath, Godzilla could still take on and beat this giant bear. He normally ate fish, but this thing really filled his belly.

Godzilla continued moving forward, marching along the mountains until he sees another settlement to take his anger out on.

"Oh dear." Twilight said. She knew exactly where it was heading. If it continued across the Crystal Mountains, then the Crystal Empire is its next stomping grounds. If her brother and sister-in-law were to be killed by that monster, she would not know what she would be able to do. It has to be stopped, but it cannot be stopped, it just can't.

But then she remembered something. When her magic was stolen by Tirek, she thought it was over, but then, she remembered everything she went through. She had her friends with her, and together, they unlocked the secrets of the Rainbow Power and defeated their magic-stealing foe, gaining her castle in the process. Friendship helped her revert Nightmare Moon back to Luna, defeat and reform Discord, stop King Sombra from taking over the Crystal Empire, and it gave her the means to defeat Tirek and return all the magic that he stole from the ponies. She reformed Starlight Glimmer, who is now her student.

If it worked on all these foes, then it must work on this new one.

"Call the girls. Whatever odds we face, we beat them together, and I'm certain that we'll be able to beat whatever that thing is." Twilight said. The Rainbow of Light is the only option that she could think of.

"Shining, Cadence, Flurry Heart, please be okay. We're coming to save you..." Twilight said as she walked towards the throne with her friends. If they can't defeat it, then Equestria shall be lost, but they have not lost before, and she was confident that they will not lose against the newest threat to Equestria.

Attack on the Crystal Empire

Location: Crystal Palace, Crystal Empire

"Alright, we've heard the news, Twilight." Celestia said as she walked along with her sister, Luna. The two were quick to react and teleported everyone there in time. Twilight nodded in agreement.

"Flurry's still a little 'un, and with that beast on its way, what is the plan?" Applejack said.

"Well, we're glad you asked..." Luna said.

"We will distract the creature and lead it from the Crystal Empire, just enough for you to activate your Rainbow Power and defeat it. If that fails, we'll order a mass-evacuation of the Crystal Empire if it destroys it." Celestia said. She looked out the window to see smoke rising from the outside.

SKREEEOOONK!!!

A roar was heard as the silhouette of the monster was visible through the smoke.

"If that thing destroys the Crystal Empire, then our plan is for naught." Luna said.

The two sisters flew out to meet the beast, which was none other than Godzilla, the long-lost King of Monsters, who has been frozen for millions of years in the ice, waiting to have a great comeback. And now, he will incinerate this city, he still has a lot of rage pent up that needs to be... well.

As he marched towards the Crystal Empire, a beam of golden energy hit him in the cheek. He growled as he saw the culprit, a white pony with both a horn AND wings. He attempted to swat it down with his claws before a blue bolt hit him and saw another pony with both horn and wings, this time blue. Godzilla roared as he attempted to shoot them down with his atomic breath, only for them to dodge at blazing speeds. Godzilla growled, and once the blue one was off-guard, he clasped his hands around her, causing her to black out. The white one sensed this and flew to the blue one's aid with a look of terror in her face.

"Luna!" Twilight said. The beast walked towards the Crystal Empire, ready for its kill.

"Girls, we need to activate our Rainbow Power, stat!" Twilight said as she looked at her friends, who nodded. The six heroines enveloped themselves in lights of their respective coloring and activated their Rainbow Power. Godzilla was about to march towards the Crystal Empire when he saw a ball of light with six ponies inside it. He growled at them and snorted, wanting to be through with their shenanigans.

"Why would we let you past when you were destroying the city? And why can I understand you?" Twilight asked before shaking her head.

"You were destroying cities, causing so many ponies to lose their families, their homes, and worse, their lives. I'm afraid that has to be stopped. You may not think this is true, but we carry magic that resides in out hearts, the magic, of friendship." Twilight said as she and her friends activated the light. First a white bolt hit, then five other bolts, which joined together in one Rainbow of Light.

When it cleared, however, Godzilla stood, completely unscathed and laughed. He let out a faint atomic fireball, vaporizing the sphere of magic and cancelling out the Mane Six's Rainbow Power and causing them to fall to the ground.

"Impossible, nothing can defeat the magic of friendship... how?" Twilight said as she looked at herself, with blood coming out on several spots. She looked to see her friends unconscious, with the exception of Pinkie, who was still awake. They aren't going to die, but they are in very serious comas. She failed. She really failed.

<Really, friendship is magic? Please, from what I've seen, there's nothing magical about friendship. Sure, some may think of it as a magical thing, but that's just it. It's just a mentality, a product of your kind's instinct, if you will.>

"You're lying. Friendship is magic! The most powerful magic of all!" Twilight said as she got up.

<Then why didn't it kill me? Face it, friendship cannot get you through everything. You tried to use your little rainbow on me, and look where you are right now. It's pointless to focus on friendship alone. Look at me. I was the last of my kind, and the humans turned me into the first. I never thought I could be any lonelier, and I had to face my dangers with brute force. I have toppled monsters, a whole pantheon of Hellenic gods, and even escaped from Hell itself, and all of it was by my lonesome.>

"LIAR!" Twilight yelled, firing whatever magic she had left from her horn, even though she knew it would have no effect. It didn't strike him, and instead dissipated before it could go even half-way. Her stress and injuries were getting to her, and her legs gave in and caused her to fall to the ground, but instead of blacking out, a transformation happened.

Patches of her fur fell off, leaving room for black scales to grow. Her mere stump of a tailbone began to lengthen dramatically, making way for a long tail covered in black scales. Her tail hairs didn't fall off, but instead whitened, save for her purple and pink strips. By that point, her entire body began growing as her mane whitened as well. She looked at her front hooves to see fingers spouting out and palms forming. Pretty soon, her newly-formed hands gave way to the black scales.

"No, no, no! It can't end like this!" Twilight said as her legs shifted, her back hooves giving way to toes, yet oddly enough, she still had her cutie mark. Godzilla was equally shocked. It can't be true. Could she really have been his daughter? The feathers on Twilight's wings merged with her flesh, growing black scales and a singular claw on each of them as her horn vanished.

It isn't true, it just cannot be true. Twilight's teeth sharpened as her changes came to a close. Pretty soon, she was what Godzilla is, but she still had wings, pony-like ears, and a cutie mark. She breathed in and out as she processed everything that happened.

"What did you do to me!?" she said. The beast mereley walked up to her and suddenly, grabbed her in his embrace, pulling her into a hug. All the rage was gone, and now he's finally with his long-lost daughter.

"Hold on a second!" Pinkie Pie said before grabbing a glass of water, drinking it and spitting it out.

"WHAT!"

"Pinkie, please tell me what happened!?" Twilight said.

"I don't know Twilight, but he's taking you somewhere, is he?"

"Wait, what the-" Twilight was grabbed by her own father, who walked toward the ocean with her. He couldn't believe what just happened there. His own daughter was killed, but she was there, but how? Nonetheless, he was unaware of it, and so was she. They're now both monsters externally, but in her eyes he could see a smart, kind, and beautiful soul behind them. He wanted to destroy, now, all he wants is to be with his long lost daughter.

Uncharted Lands

"Spike, what time is it?" a weary Twilight said, trying to block the sun out with her right hoof. That was one freaky dream she had.

Twilight's body felt numb all over, almost as if her body was going through some changes. However, when she regained her sight, she found that her hoof was not a hoof at all, but a black-scaled hand. She began to get the feeling that it wasn't a dream. She inspected every inch of her new body. It wasn't that of her familiar equine form, but a bipedal lizard covered in black scales. Not good.

"No no no. This cannot be true." Twilight said as her wings fluttered subconsciously. She attempted to feel her head for a horn, but she felt only her now white mane. This is bad. She's stuck as whatever she is currently wherever she is. Speaking of where she is, she looked around to see that she was in a formation that acted kind of like the mattress of a bed. She tried to get up, but she felt that her body was still in pain, and bay back down, breathing in and out.

Twilight looked around to see that the fauna was still familiar, yet completely alien at the same time. Weird birds with four wings were flying around with giant bats and flying fish as giant turtles lumbered about. In the trees, there were not only monkeys, but these strange octopi-looking creatures. This place was bizarre, she must admit that. But the sound of someone walking made Twilight freeze. She saw the beast that has been terrorizing Equestria sit right next to her 'bed'.

<Good, you're awake now. I've been waiting for too long to finally reunite with you.>

Though it spoke in roars and grunts to most, Twilight can completely understand the creature's words as if they were English. She recognized him very well and glared angrily at him.

"What do you want with me, huh? Did you already destroy Equestria while I was out? Did you turn me into this? Answer me!" Twilight said as tears came out of her eyes. He gave her a confused look before speaking again.

<I did nothing of the sort. When you transformed back, I realize that I have found someone that I thought was long dead. Sure, you still have your wings and thigh stars, but that is good enough for me. The stress of the fight must've taken too much out of you, so I lay you here. Not quite as cozy as your bed back at your former home, but this is good enough for now.>

"What do you mean! Why should I listen to you? You destroyed Equestria, probably wiping out the ponies in the process, turned me into what I am now, and blamed me for transforming myself? What's next, making me forget Equestria!?" Twilight said as she began to cry once again. A hand touched her shoulder. Something about him almost felt right to her.

<No, no, no. I would never do anything of the sort. I didn't wipe them out, nor did I transform you, well, not on purpose. Why you would think I'd want you to forget Equestria, well, I guess you don't remember me, don't you?>

"What are you talking about! Of course I do not know you! Are you insane? How am I, a pony by birth, supposed to believe you when you destroyed Equestria, and for what?" Twilight said.

<Again, I did not destroy Equestria, how do you even say that? And two, you are not a pony by birth, you are my long lost daughter, and now, I finally found you. I thought you were->

"LIAR! I am in no way related to you!"

<If you weren't, I would have left you to die!>

"AT LEAST I'D DIE AS MYSELF! WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE THIS!?" Twilight said before she started to cry again. Godzilla sighed. He had finally reunited with his long-lost daughter, only to find that she does not remember him. To be fair, she was merely a baby when she was supposedly killed, so that can be given a pass.

<You didn't deserve anything bad, but what I deserve to have you, Kira...>

"I'M TWILIGHT SPARKLE!" Twilight said.

<Kira, Twilight, whatever you want me to call you... I have put Equestria behind me, and now, all I want to have some father-daughter time with you. You must be hungry, aren't you? I'll be back from my hunt in no time, my sweet little star.>

And with that, Godzilla walked out into the woods, leaving Twilight to her thoughts.

"What am I supposed to do? He holds all the cards, I'm stranded in a place that I do not even know about, and he claims that I, out of everyone, is his daughter! Why me? What will my friends think if they arrive too late? Am I unable to change back? Will I have to abandon harmony? I don't know what to do!" Twilight thought as she closed her eyes, waiting for her food.

She wanted to run away, but for some reason, she felt like she needed to be with the beast that claimed to be her father, almost like he was her real father. As she pondered, she thought of what was going on back at Equestria. She missed her friends near and dear.

Pinkie Pie sat eagerly, waiting for her friends to wake up. Celestia was checking on her sister, and as for Starlight and Spike, they were hoping that Twilight is okay.

"They're waking up, they're waking up!" the doctor said. Pinkie Pie would've pounced upon them, but she knew that her friends were still in not at their fullest. Applejack was the first to open her eyes.

"Pinkie, Starlight? What am ah doing here?" the orange farm pony said.

"Don't you remember, the beast was immune and knocked us out cold." Pinkie Pie said.

"Then how are we alive and here in a completely intact hospital?" Applejack asked.

"Well I'm just as curious as any of you, darling, but why didn't it destroy Equestria and kill us when we were in comas?" Rarity asked as the other three opened their eyes.

"Well, it might sound a little crazy, but it took Twilight. And no, she's not dead, it took her alive for some reason and they are who knows where on the world they are!" Pinkie Pie said as she shook Rarity violently out of control. Normally, someone would've been called crazy when they said it, but this is Pinkie, so she had to be honest.

"Then we must find her and find a way to change her back, and fast!" Spike said as he walked into the room with Starlight. They both knew Twilight very well, and cared about her very so. They wanted to find where she is and save her from the beast. Hopefully, their friend is doing just fine by the time they finally find her again. As they got up from the beds, Spike wrote a letter to Celestia, telling them that they'll be looking for Twilight, and through every source in Equestria, they'll find her.

It has been two days since Twilight woke up recovering in a bed-like formation. She never thought that she could be dependent on the beast that terrorized Equestria, let alone claimed to be her own biological father. And what, she's estimating, that he turned her into whatever he is, only that she still retained her now white mane, her wings, and her cutie mark. Oh, and the only food that she ever was feed, was in fact, meat from those giant turtles. She needed to eat several of them per day just to get full.

"Why does he keep feeding me those turtles? If only I can have one nice, juicy whale every once in a while." Twilight said, smacking her lips before her eyes widened when she heard her own words. She put her hand over her mouth in shock at what she had said and what she had wanted. She wanted to eat meat? She's a pony, she eats vegetables and fruit, not meat! Her new instincts had led her to actually eat meat, but she only did it because the beast was around, but this time, she actually wanted to eat a whale now!

"Stay calm, Twilight. Hopefully, this will all turn out to be a night- ow!" Twilight yelped in pain as she tried to get up, falling accidentally on her tail. Twilight pulled herself up as she shook all the pain off. She preferred to walk on all fours, but it became painful after a very shot period of time, and she was forced to move bipedally like she had done in the human world.

"Ugh! How does he do this? How the beast walks upright despite his weight is against all the knowledge I have!" Twilight said as she tottered about. She was about to scout the area when she heard an all too familiar voice.

<You actually got up. I was wondering when you'd finally do it. And yes, before you ask, I did hear the whale part when I was about to go back.>

Twilight looked to see Godzilla standing behind her. Even when Twilight was at her full height, she was about two thirds his size.

"Why are you here, now? I just wanted some time alone." Twilight asked before the King of Monsters walked right beside her.

<You need your space, and I can respect that, but all I want is to spend some time with you. I thought I lost you all those years ago, so what father can handle it?> he said.

Twilight was about to protest when she realized that he is not breaking.

"Why do you claim that I'm your daughter. I'm Twilight Sparkle, the Princess of Friendship. I was born a pony and a pony I am. I was a truly excellent magician, and a friend to five other ponies, a dragon, and now, a teacher to a unicorn named Starlight Glimmer. So why should I believe you, when I have records by my side?" Twilight asked.

<Maybe it's because you haven't looked at my records, my side of the story. I might as well tell you from the beginning. Here, come sit beside your papa, since your too big to sit in my lap.>

As Godzilla sat onto the formation, he began to speak.

<I wasn't always the mighty titan you see before yourself. Originally, I was just another mindless animal who fed on other mindless animals for substance.> As he talked, Twilight felt the odd need to sit right beside him, but fought and hid it quite well. For some reason, she felt right when around him. During her childhood, she felt awkward and out of place. Now, she felt absolutely safe and complete and safe around Godzilla, likely a side effect of her new form.

<I thought I was the last of my kind, and then came that fateful day when the United States bombed Hiroshima, not that you remember any of this, since you weren't around way back when. My new sentience had given me feelings beyond what I had ever felt before in my life. One such feeling was anger at the humans. I thought I was the last of my kind, and then I thought that I was the first of my kind. I never felt any lonelier than I was before. But then, a miracle happened. I saw a female with the same mutations that I had and all. And we did whatever the last two members of a species would: mate.>

Twilight didn't believe what she heard, but she let him continue as he stood back up.

<She laid a clutch of eggs in a mountain range, two of them were boys, and there was one daughter. You were only a baby at that fateful day I lost you. The humans have invented a powerful weapon that I thought you do you out, but it didn't. My mate and my two sons weren't so lucky, however. They wound up being killed by some weird cross between me and a dragonfly. I never thought I could be any angrier at the humans at what they did. They took you away... they took...>

Godzilla caught himself and breathed deeply, flushing away all those painful memories.

<As I was about to say, I quickly got mad and destroyed entire cultures, cities and even nations in the blink of an eye. The humans got rid of me by freezing me in the ice for who knows how long. I first thought that your cities were those of humans, and then it went from there. You confronted me and reverted back to your original self. Sure, you still had wings and that star, but it was close enough of a resemblance to me.> As Godzilla finished his story, Twilight thought about what she would think.

Everything that he told her was extremely detailed and complex, and he said it like he really meant it? Twilight thought about the humans that Godzilla had encountered. Were they like the humans at Canterlot High, or were they something else entirely. She would be more than happy to burn a civilization of sentient quesadillas away. Those things are pure evil in the form of food.

"Well, it may have killed your daughter, but I'm not her." Twilight said. Well, she hoped it was true. But what if he was telling the truth about her? What would she do? He held all the cards, and she had none. Twilight sat down on a hill just the right size and began to think about what she should do.

Searching for Twilight

Twilight sat on a mountain, looking out into the eternal dusk/dawn. It has been ten days since the moment her ponyhood has been taken away from her. She no longer had her horn, and in turn, she cannot use her magic, even though she still had her cutie mark. Her wings were there as well, but she is too heavy to fly. Godzilla is still with her, and she doesn't know what to do.

"Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Starlight, Spike, all of you, I want you to be safe..." Twilight said to no one. A lone tear dropped down from her eye as she took a deep breath. She exhaled before speaking again.

"Please be safe. Wherever you are, if you are... PLEASE STILL BE ALIVE!" Twilight turned her head to the sea.

"If you happen to have lived through it, I know that you are probably trying to find me and free me from my forced exile. Please don't die out there! I'd never forgive myself if you do." With that final sentence, Twilight began to close her eyes and breathe in one more time.

With all her heart, she hoped that her friends are okay wherever they are.

Twilight thought that her friends were safe, and fortunately, they are. Currently, their boat has landed on an island. There was a large castle on it, and they decided that if the locals were friendly, they would ask for directions.

"Ya sure they're friendly, aren't ya?" Applejack asked.

"I have my doubts. We never went this far from Equestria. But first, we should set up camp." Spike said. Thankfully, they brought tents in case they had to stay overnight, and yes, it technically was day at Equestria, but better safe than sorry. Hay Gel was the one who proved the world was a sphere, but even though Celestia said it was a fact, the vast majority of the ponies still believed that the world was flat, no matter how much she tried to tell them otherwise.

Soon enough, they set up the tents and were ready in just mere moments. The Mane Five, Starlight, and Spike weren't the only ones who went in on this adventure. Some of their old friends and family have come along the ride, some to save a Princess of Equestria or some to save an old or new friend of theirs.

Daring Do and Rainbow Dash were close friends ever since the two met, and since Rainbow was already a fan, she gave Daring Do the idea to use this as an idea for her story. Twilight's older brother, Shining Armor, wanted to tag along to save his sister, and Princess Luna was also coming along in this adventure.

Twilight was the one who freed her from a mental parasite, which would have driven her further into madness if she failed. A few other background ponies have also joined the adventure.

Pinkie Pie and Luna were alone, wanting to talk about the Godzilla/Twilight incident. Pinkie had told Luna everything, how Twilight transformed into a Godzilla-like creature and how Godzilla took Twilight away.

"Luna, how's it going? Are you still trying to find Twilight?" Pinkie said.

"Yes, Pinkie, but her dream door has... disappeared. The beast is fully sentient, but it lacks a dream door of its own. My guess is that he does dream, but it is naught but a figment of his mind. Due to this, I cannot enter his dreams." Luna said.

"And since Twilight transformed into whatever he is..." Pinkie said. Luna stayed silent.

"Is..."

Luna's eyes widened as she put the pieces together. As a pony, Twilight was connected into the magical dream web. Godzilla's dreams were, according to her theory, a figment of his mind.

"So that's why." Luna realized. Twilight's transformation may not have just affected her body, but also affected the way she dreams as well. Well, so much for searching through the dream world. It may have slowed them down, but it won't stop them.

"Meet you back at camp." Pinkie said as she zipped back. Luna laughed and began to explore the new island. Being the Lunar Princess has its perks in the dead of night. As she walked across, she did not see a figure pop his head from the castle.

The figure wasn't a pony, or any known creature. The closest thing he resembled was the humans from the mirror, only that he was beige-skinned and his proportions were slightly different. He was covered in armor, save for his face, which bore a sweet mustache and goatee.

"Sentient horse, dead ahead. Man your stations, boys. We'll give them a warm welcome once they arrive at the scene." the being said in an unknown language (to the ponies) before ducking his head into the castle. Luna didn't even notice the being's voice.

Meanwhile, a strange batch of white crystals has just entered the solar system. Beware, SpaceGodzilla's coming to town.

Twilight's Story

View Online

It has been three weeks solid since she was taken by Godzilla. Well, at least the place was beautiful in its eternal sunset/sunrise, which flips every twelve hours or so. Again, world's round, Hay Gel, and all that stuff here and there. She walked across the beach with her hands behind her back, smiling happily at the sunset/sunrise. Sure, she got stuck in this place with Godzilla, but in all honesty, it feels so right being here with him. She had been too obsessed with her friends to tell him HER story, but there's too much time to go to waste.

As on cue, a familiar rustling has came into the ocean as a familiar creature rose from the depths. Godzilla carried two blue whales in his hands, right in time for dinner. Twilight took one of the whales and took her first bite on it. She lived off turtle and whale meat for three weeks solid. At first, she wasn't too hesitant, but her new body has different needs.

<You don't look so good. Every time I asked you, you would just keep talking about your friends and ignoring me.> Godzilla said.

"I'm still worried very sick about my friends." Twilight said before a black-scaled hand touched her back.

<Friends? Tell me more about them.> Godzilla said.

"Well, I have many friends, I'm the Princess of Friendship after all." Twilight said. "Former Princess of Friendship" she reminded herself. Godzilla tried to suppress a nonexistent giggle.

"What's so funny?" Twilight said, tilting her head a bit.

<Princess of Friendship. Good one, Twilight.> Godzilla said, electing a glare from Twilight. But then, he breathed slowly and regained his composure before talking again.

<Now, please tell me more about how you became this "Princess of Friendship" you are now.> Godzilla said as Twilight took a bite off her whale.

"Well, I wasn't born an alicorn. I was born as a unicorn in Canterlot. I loved the Summer Sun Celebration, where Princess Celestia raises the sun into the sky in front of the whole crowd. My idol is Starswirl the Bearded, who was a truly great magician. I studied magic so that I could be just like him." Twilight said before taking another bite on her whale.

"Eventually, I was enrolled in Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns, and I had to do this exam and hatch an egg with my magic. I was not able to do it at first, but with help from someone I know now, whom I did not know at the time, I let out a huge surge of magic, flying all over the place, and that's how I earned my cutie mark." Twilight said.

"I still have it, though, even if I do not have any magic. I can understand my wings remaining, but my cutie mark staying is... quite mysterious." Twilight continued telling her story.

"Anyways. I wasn't that good of a friend before I was set to supervise the Summer Sun Celebration in Ponyville. Nightmare Moon interrupted the event and me and my newfound friends had to stop her with the Elements of Harmony, which we used to take down gods! We were sure that these powerful artifacts could defeat any foe! That is, until that day we faced you."

<Yes, I remember that. It didn't even feel the slightest bit bothersome. To me, it was just a bunch of rainbow light. But what enemies did you fight?> Godzilla said.

"After facing Nightmare Moon and reverting her back to Luna, the Elements were no longer connected to the sisters, allowing Discord to be freed. Queen Chrysalis was stopped, twice, and Spike used the Crystal Heart to defeat Sombra. With all this done for, I ascended to alicornhood and became a princess of Equestria. The wings came with the job." Twilight said, noting the black wings on her back.

<I want to know why you still have all of those extra parts of yours.> Godzilla said as he pointed his hand to Twilight's mane, wings, and her cutie mark.

"I don't know. I thought that they might be gone, too. But I guess that they're a side effect of my ascension to alicornhood." Twilight said.

"All my time, I depended on my friends. They kept me going through all these tough times, even in the most dire of conditions. Whether it be a chaos god on the loose, a mad centaur draining magic, or even just plain old something, they were there for me." Twilight said with a sad smile.

<I must admit, they did a good job of raising my daughter for me->

"I'M NOT THEIR- I MEAN YOUR- I MEAN..."

<As I was saying, you, Twilight, have grown up to be smart, inquisitive, and quite frankly, a beautiful young lady. I never had any of these luxuries you had, back in this "Equestria" nation as you called it. When you are a thousand-foot tall mutant reptile like me, you don't get to rest.> Godzilla said before chuckling.

<I think I know who you get your stubbornness from, Twilight.> Twilight did not open her mouth. There's obviously no turning this guy around at all. Is he crazy or is this some sort of mental game. Either way, he holds all the cards. Twilight looked into the sea and began to take a deep breath.

All this time, for three weeks solid, she's been waiting there for her friends. But why isn't she searching for them? Does she really want to leave this place? Of course she does, but something from inside her wants her to stay near Godzilla. At least he was kind to her like a father... to his... daughter, kinda like that.

Meeting the Group

As the Princess of Friendship went through her exile, she thought about her friends, her family, and Equestria. Godzilla was there along side her, and he was trying to make her happy. He keeps telling her that she's his daughter, and she's starting to wonder who she should side with. As she walks further inland, she begins to wonder why she wants to stay. She wants to be with her friends, but she just can't leave this strange new world. She knows her friends well, and she knows that they'll go to the ends of the earth to find her.

But, she wondered, how are they gonna react? She knew Pinkie was the only one conscious and not in a coma. Well, she's Pinkie, yet her friends were another story. She was worried that her friends died from the fall and were buried. She was worried that she would never ever be able to see anything even remotely Equestrian again. Twilight was about to sit and cry it out until a familiar voice came in.

<You're still sad, aren't you, Twilight? I must admit, that is a good name for you, but that's besides the point. Please don't cry. Tell me more about those friends of yours.> Godzilla said as he sat beside her.

"You... really wanna know?" Twilight asked.

<Yes. I barely knew them but now my interest is peaked.>

"Alright. Who to start with. I might as well arrange them in the order I first met them. Pinkie, full name: Pinkamena Diane Pie, is a strange mare. She is hyper, happy, and very fun to be around. However, she is very bizzare, and seemingly breaks physics. Did you pay any attention to her when you took me away?" Twilight asked.

<I heard your conversation, that's for sure, and yes, I did notice her, but I was focusing on other matters.> Godzilla said. Twilight knew that those other matters had changed her life forever. She then continued to speak.

"I met Applejack when I was checking the food. She works at a farm called Sweet Apple Acres. Very honest, hard-working, and quite stubborn at times. She and Rainbow Dash are tomboys who tend to fight it a bit. Speaking of Rainbow Dash, she's a very fast flier, and she is quite a loyal friend. Currently, she is a member of the Wonderbolts." Twilight said.

"Rarity is a very generous pony. The moment Spike saw her, he fell head over heels in love with her. She now has a shop in Canterlot and is well known. Fluttershy is kind, sweet, yet can be very quiet at times. She works with animals. Oh gods forbid her reaction to us eating meat. Well, she knows it's the circle of life, but if we ate cows, then that could spell trouble."

<So, who else are you friends with?> the King of Monsters asked his daughter.

"My other two main friends are Spike and Starlight. Spike is not a pony like the others. He's a baby dragon, well, technically he is more of a child and my adoptive son. He's always willing to give a helping hand in my work, and he's my number one assistant. Starlight is my student. Originally, she was crazed in equality nonsense and tried to take our individuality from us. I managed to reform her when we were traveling through time and all that, and she became my first student. I'm proud to have such great friends." Twilight said.

<You really deserve to have friends. You protected your country well.> Godzilla said before he looked towards the open sea.

<And what do you know, there's a ship right there. I'm not sure if it's your friends manning it, but if that's the case, then they've got the guts to go this far out of their comfort zone. Go and greet them, and if everything winds up going south, I'll be here to bring you back.> Twilight nodded as she walked towards the boat, the moment of truth is now.

And so, our ragtag group of heroes arrived at yet another island. Turns out, the inhabitants of the castle called themselves human, but they didn't look like the humans of Canterlot High. And they were RUDE. Throwing a cow at them? But fortunately, that was all in the past, and now, they're at another area.

"Now I might probably tell you, seeing Twilight might be a bit of a shock." Pinkie said.

"What do you mean, Pinkie? Is my sister okay?" Shining Armor said as he grabbed onto the pink mare.

"I sure hope so." Spike said.

As they were about to walk into the forest, they heard a rumbling sound.

"What is that?" Spike asked as the quakes began to intensify, but not to lethal levels. Rainbow Dash flew upwards and got the shock of her life. When everyone can finally, make out the being, everyone except Pinkie and Luna's jaws dropped.

They were standing before a giant bipedal reptile covered in black scales. She looked like Godzilla, but there were a few things that were different. Her snout was shorter than Godzilla's, a pair of wings rested on her back, and a white mane grew from her head, all the way down to her back and stopping at the tip of her tail, and had a series of purple and pink strips. What was the real catcher is that on her hips, was Twilight's cutie mark. She looked down at them with her purple eyes and spoke.

"Hi, everyone, it's been quite a while." Twilight said sheepishly as she waved her hand nervously. Her voice remained completely unchanged and still sounded the exact same way it did before. Everyone's reaction was mixed. Most of them stared wide-eyed at the new Twilight. Rarity fainted as Fluttershy studied Twilight's new form. Shining Armor remained still, staring wide-eyes with his jaw literally touching the ground. Everyone was silent until Fluttershy began to speak.

"Oh my, what happened to you?" Fluttershy asked.

Going Home

Rainbow Dash flew to the eye level of this new Twilight Sparkle, who just stared back. After an awkward moment of silence, Twilight began to speak.

"If you have anything to say-"

"Really, egghead? You really though that we'd no longer like you?" Rainbow Dash asked as Twilight nodded.

"Twilight, what on Equis ever happened to you?" Shining asked.

"Well, let me explain..." Twilight said.

"After you were knocked out cold, I tried to fight the beast myself, one who I now know was called Godzilla. When I tried to finish him off with what little strength I had, I transformed into this. And then the big guy thought I was his daughter or whatnot and carried me all the way here. For over three long weeks I have been separated from you, and now, you are finally with me again." Twilight felt her head, feeling only mane.

"And without my horn, unfortunately, means no magic, and with no magic I cannot change back. I still have my wings and cutie mark, as you clearly see. Fortunately, he was pretty kind to me, even acting like a parent would if the see their long-lost child. We bonded a bit and told each other our stories. I was resilient at first and almost broke down."

"Twilight, I would like to tell you our tale." Luna said.

"Then tell away..."

"Well, it took about a week for them to fully recover, except Pinkie, which it only took a day. Not only did I join them, your brother, as you saw, joined along with several others. It was mostly boring, just us and the sea after we passed the strait between Griffonstone and the Dragon Lands. The weather acted on its own from then on, and we took one storm. The flora and fauna were strange and new. We came across a few islands, one of which contained a castle."

"Who were the inhabitants?" Twilight asked.

"They looked like the humans from the mirror world, only that their proportions were off, their eyes were very small, and their skin tone was restricted to a light beige color. Those things, I kid you not, were rude. I mean, shooting a live animal strait at us and pouring something you would not want to know down. We ultimately decided to pass them and then we were here." Luna said.

"Well, what now?" Pinkie Pie asked with curiosity after their tale was told to Twilight.

"Well, now, we return to Equestria. Me and the beast made a deal that if everything goes south, he will take me back to this bizarre place." Twilight said as she got stepped into the sea.

"And trust me, we can swim despite our overbearing weight." Twilight said before completely submerging. The ponies and Spike went into the boat and followed on suite, not noticing Godzilla go into the water a few steps behind them. He was keeping his end of the deal, and wanted to make sure that his little Twilight would be safe from harm, physical and/or mental.

For over three weeks she waited to be back with her friends, even if she winds up a monster. Godzilla wanted to make her happy, and would let her reunite with her friends despite the rather great differences in size. He wanted to make her happy, and boy, is she eager to see Equestria again, even if it would be for the last time.

<Twilight, please be safe. I know you are a teenager and can take good care of yourself, but I was just wanting to see you. You spent a month with me, and if you do turn out to be accepted, then protect your home and your friends, I know you love them, but now my little girl is becoming a woman. I can't be any happier, even if you are the only one of the bunch to grow up. Be safe out there and don't let anything try to take your friends away.> Godzilla whispered, almost letting a tear come from his eye.

Meanwhile, Twilight was thinking about Equestria. What happened out there when she was gone. Was there some catastrophe that destroyed it? Did it get conquered by an enemy? What happened to it? What happened to Celestia, or Velvet and Nightlight. Her father has taken her away for three long, wait just a second, why was she thinking it like that? Of course he isn't her dad, is he? Twilight tried to shake the conflicting feelings out of her head, she felt like she was in denial for some weird reason. Of course she was not, she remembered her life clearly.

"I don't know how it would be like. Hopefully, it will all be as good as great and, if there is a way, I can change back." Twilight said as she went over a reef. Again, the flora and fauna are largely unfamiliar. While it was a coral reef, there were some other creatures, too. Fish swam along with these weird flatworms, arthropods, and what she knew of as a trilobite. What was weird was that there were literal flying fish accompanied the typical birds, as well as some sort of species of bat. It wasn't quite as weird as those weird snails that had adapted to live in the desert. By the looks of it, those squid creatures in the trees could become a sentient race. It was quite interesting to see all the strange new fauna that had came to be there.

"Note to self: if I transform back, I'd come back to that place and document them." Twilight said. Her friends were worried sick, and so was she. At least she had quite a tale to tell about that place. She heard Fluttershy try to communicate with one of the animals, but it turned out that most of them were nothing but mindless beings that knew at least knew eating, sleeping, and procreation.

Nothing in that place was controlled by the ponies. Plants grew, clouds moved, and animals too care of themselves all on their own. It was like in the Everfree, only without the creepy part. According to Luna, this strange flora and fauna extended way beyond the new continent, far past a chain of islands, in one of which these weird human-like creatures lived in. She would never forgive those strange creatures for throwing a live cow at her friends.

Twilight would have plenty of time to talk to her friends during this voyage back home.. It would take two weeks for them to finally come back to Equestria, and she needs to talk with her friends to make up for the days apart from one another. Hopefully, her new form would not make anyone want her gone. If her friends still loved her, then so will Equestria.

The Voyage Back

View Online

It was a pretty long journey back to Equestria, and this time, they took no expenses and went back. Twilight was discovered to have been turned into a Godzilla-like form, she fortunately is still Twilight on the inside. Godzilla decided that if everything went south and that the nation no longer liked her, he'll take her back to the new world with him.

As Twilight swam, she admired the strange reefs until there was nothing but ocean out there. During that part of the journey, she occasionally poked her head up to talk with her friends. Turns out that they accepted that Twilight was still Twilight, even if she was essentially turned into a monster, which was skin deep.

"Twilight, are you sure about seeing Equestria again?" Spike asked as his sister, adoptive mother, and friend in one poked her head out.

"Yes, Spike. Even if it is for the last time, I have to do it. Who knows, the ponies have accepted changelings, so why can't they accept me as well?" Twilight said.

"But what happened to Equestria while I was gone?"

"We've all been worried sick, so we decided to find you. You have to thank Pinkie for warning us about your change." the little dragon said as he pointed to Pinkie, who was busy munching on a cake. At least she's going on it just fine. As for Shining Armor, he wasn't going too well, mainly because of her new form.

"Twilight, are you sure you are finding a way to turn back?" Shining asked. Twilight slightly frowned.

"Well, I would if I could, but with no horn, no magic can be used. And since Godzilla was completely immune to the Rainbow, I do not know how I can fix this, and I am starting to give up on it..." Twilight said as she went into a stationary position and looked at her hands.

"I always thought of myself as awkward and out of place, but in this body, I feel like this is the real me." Twilight said as she clenched her hands. Even though Lyra isn't as obsessed with hands as many think, she would still be jealous that she can have at least some semblance to the human body, three times over, four if her new form counts.

"So, what do you think about me and our parents?" Shining asked.

"Well, you all were the ones that raised me. Of course I'd love you all, though too bad about giving hugs." Twilight replied.

"You would still give me hugs, right?" Spike asked.

"Spike, you're a bit too small right now, but if you happened to be big enough, then yes, I would give you a hug." Twilight said as Spike jumped up in excitement. Spike is still the same old Spike to her even if she is in this strange form of hers. The rest of the Bearers had completely accepted Twilight for who she is, although Shining Armor seems to think otherwise.

Luna had a worried look on her face. Sure, she accepts Twilight for who she is, but why is she worried?

"Luna, what's wrong?" Twilight asked as she looked at the alicorn of the night.

"It's that I literally can never go into your dreams again. Your door... is gone." Twilight's eyes widened at that comment.

"How?" she asked, with worry on her face.

"Well, I've came up with a theory on why it is gone. You see, all the creatures on Equis are magically connected in a network of doors that most know of as dream web. Godzilla, as you call him, lacks magic, and in theory, his dreams are nothing more than a figment of his own mind." Luna stated.

"And that means when I transformed, my connection to the dream web was severed. Luna, I am so sorry to hear this." Twilight said.

"It's nothing to be ashamed about, Twilight. You simply no longer have that sort of magic. I'm not saying you no longer have magic, you still have your cutie mark, don't you?" Luna asked.

"Well, yes, though I have my doubts. Even when Discord took my horn, I still felt magic from within me. Now, I don't feel any of my natural magic at all, I cannot even access the magic of friendship!" Twilight exclaimed with a bit of fear that her magic was gone forever.

"Twilight, ou cannot regain your magic by just moping around, it's not like something bad is happening to Equestria right now." Pinkie said.

Hayseed Swamps

Biollante. A plant beast from ages past. Originally a human girl named Erika Shiragami, she died and was revived when her father spliced her cells into a rose. He also spliced some of Godzilla's cells, causing it to mutate into into a giant flower beast, with Erika's conscious in the new being. She was scared of who she was and cried to her friend from a previous life. However, it attracted Godzilla's attention, and caused Erika's mind to be suppressed and Biollante to fight Godzilla, once in her Flower Beast form, and once in her Plant Beast Form.

After her second fight, Erika's mind regained control as Biollante's spore floated out into space, where they were orbiting Earth for millions of years until the finally landed in the Hayseed Swamps. She turns her head to the left to see white crystals growing and heading towards her. She had no time to flee and got imprisoned in a giant crystal.

"Me and my big mouth."

Godzilla of the Stars

"Me and my big mouth..." Pinkie said before her Pinkie sense went off.

"What was it, Pinkie?" a worried Twilight asked.

"Something evil has landed in Equestria, something big, like Godzilla-size big!" Pinkie said as she poked her head from a cloud and pointed to the approximate height of the monster, don't ask, but it did leave a shocked Twilight with widened eyes. "And you are the only one of us large enough to fight it directly." the pink pony concluded.

"But, what if I cannot fight him? I've always had the magic of friendship by my side, and now with my magic severed and the fact that you cannot fight by my side, I don't think that I can win. I'm really scared..." Twilight said as a single tear came from her eye.

"Listen, Twilight. This is what I learned numerous times from a certain giant monster swimming right beside us. It doesn't mean you cannot win, it means you have to win, not just for Equestria, but for us as well." Pinkie said in a very cheerful way.

"But why are you so cheerful about this?" Twilight asked the pink pony.

"Because I am confident that you'll win. Just look at Shining and Cadence, they beat the changelings with just their love, so why can't you beat the space monster on your own." Pinkie said.

"Thanks, Pinkie, under that hyper attitude and childlike glee of yous, you have some pretty deep wisdom. And speaking of Shining, he wasn't too keen about my transformation and kept asking me questions that only I would know." Twilight said.

"He's just stubborn sometimes, but he may also be cautious. I guess that's what big brothers are for." the pink pony said as she pointed to the white unicorn with a blue mane.

"I think you are right, Pinkie. Let's head home and defeat this new enemy. Hopefully, everyone would recognize me." Twilight said with an underconfident look on her face. Pinkie took note and went inside to eat yet another oversized pastry. It's a mystery on how she can eat so many sweets in her body and gain little to no weight.

Three days later, they finally got into familiar waters. The strait between Griffonstone and the Dragon's Lair looked pretty normal, but when they got to the coast of Equestria, there were no beaches to greet them, instead, giant white crystals towered over the city that they encased. Luckily or unluckily, the crystals have perfectly preserved the city of Manehattan with no problems, but it was still scary to see whatever happened to cause this insanity. Docking was a bit tricky, but the Statue of Harmony wasn't covered in crystal, so they were able to anchor the ship somewhat.

"Twilight, there's no turning back, are you sure you want to go in there?" Pinkie asked.

"Yes, Pinkie, this is my fight, and are you sure you want to come along?"

"We all are sure we want to follow you, you are our friend, monster or not." Pinkie said as they hopped onto Twilight as she treked inwards, not noticing a black-scaled head come up.

<Twilight, I'll be guiding you when needed, like at the beginning of the fight, and I will protect you when necessary, too.> Godzilla said as he went out of the ocean, being careful not to be noticed by the ponies.

As they traversed inland everyone had the shivers at what happened to Equestria. The whole of it was turned into a colossal crystal fortress, and the whole land was rendered unrecognizable except for the occasional landmarks here and there that were encased in crystal, but that was enough for our little group. But when they reached Ponyville, something bad had happened.

A searing orange beam of cosmic energy came crashing into Twilight, hurting her and causing her to stumble, knocking everyone off of her. As Luna tried to get up, her body was rendered immobile. She attempted to struggle, but it was no use as she was pulled away by an unknown force. Twilight looked to see the perpetrator move Luna towards him.

It looked a lot like Godzilla, but there were obvious differences, like the two large crystals on his shoulders and the golden trident-like crown on his head. SpaceGodzilla let out a loose laugh as he phased Luna into one of his shoulder crystals. Twilight looked to the other crystal to see another alicorn trapped inside.

"Oh no..." Twilight said before turning to her friends.

"Shining, get them to safety, I do not want to risk their lives, or yours." Twilight said. Shining Armor nodded and lit up his horn in a rose aura, teleporting them all to safety as Twilight got into a fighting stance, looking directly at SpaceGodzilla.

"I don't know who you are or what your intent is, but I have no choice but to defeat you." Twilight said.

<You fight me? Pathetic, you don't even know the full extent of your abilities, so step aside. No, wait, you stay put so I can have a practice dummy to use my new powers on.> Godzilla's spacial duplicate laughed, running forward to punch Twilight, who dodged to the side, making him land in one of his own crystals.

Twilight's eyes locked SpaceGodzilla's as the both glared at one another. SpaceGodzilla made the first move. He lunged towards Twilight yet again, but when she attempted to dodge, he was ready for her. He grabbed Twilight with the Gravity Tornado and threw her into hundreds of feet into the air, along with himself. The two traded punches, kicks, and bites as they hurtled across the sky and into the Smokey Mountains.

Twilight rammed her tail against SpaceGodzilla's face, knocking him back. Godzilla's crystalline imposter launched the Corona Beam at his foe. Twilight attempted to dodge, but the beam curved towards her. It did a loop upwards before she ducked and caused it to hit a crystal, which SpaceGodzilla grabbed telekinetically and attempted to toss it at her and succeeded in hitting her.

Something about fighting SpaceGodzilla made Twilight's chest feel hot, and she didn't notice until now. However, instead of freaking out at this, and inhaled as the hot feeling crawled up her throat. Twilight didn't know what that feeling was, and she wasn't sure about it was until she exhaled, releasing a torrent of atomic breath at her foe. SpaceGodzilla took a hit directly in the center, but he was not knocked back. Twilight attempted to do it again, letting out another blast of atomic breath, but SpaceGodzilla shielded himself with a force field of crystal before attacking her once again.

This time, he grabbed Twilight in his telekinesis, rending her body immobile and throwing her around at the sharpest crystals, staining them red with blood and creating some pretty big wounds here and there. Twilight tried to use her atomic breath to interrupt him, but the fiend blocked her attack and punched her, leaving her body injured and unable to move. SpaceGodzilla laughed before speaking.

<This is fun, I must admit that you put up a good fight, but you have no friends to be around. Even with them, they'd still be no help for you, like all the little bugs we-> He couldn't finish his sentence when Godzilla showed up, lunging forth and ramming his body against SpaceGodzilla, sending him flying into a crystal.

<I don't know who you are or what your goal is, but if you think THAT YOU ARE GONNA KILL MY DAUGHTER, THEN YOU SHOULD THINK AGAIN, PAL!> Godzilla roared before letting out his signature battle cry at SpaceGodzilla, who looked at the King of Monsters.

Twilight could see the two behemoths clashing before blacking out. She didn't know where she would be, but where was she? All she knows is that she woke up in a dank, dark, void. She knew that Godzilla is currently fighting SpaceGodzilla as she sat there, fatally wounded by the crystalline beast. What had she done to deserve this? And more importantly, where in the world is she?

“Anyone here… HELLO!” she yelled, but no response called back to the frightened kaiju. She never felt so confused, lost, and alone in her life. If this is the afterlife, then she was probably the only one who got there. But suddenly, a voice responded to her cries.

“You shouldn’t be feeling this way…”

“You shouldn’t be feeling this way…” Twilight was shocked. That voice sounded exactly like her own. Twilight was even more bamboozled when she saw who was speaking. It was HER! Not her her, but the old unicorn Twilight. Purple fur, blue mane with two stripes, purple eyes and the like.

“Y-y-y-y-your ME!” Twilight said.

"Well, yes and no. This is your subconscious, and you are in a coma." the unicorn said.

“Sure looks pretty dank, why aren’t there books everywhere?” Twilight asked her unicorn counterpart.

"Well, in a nutshell, you are almost about to die. Your father, Godzilla, is fighting SpaceGodzilla, and you are the only one who can help him in this situation." the unicorn said as Twilight walked up to her.

"Wait on just a second. You are telling me that Godzilla is my father. Not even I would think that, and why am I the only one who can help defeat SpaceGodzilla, I don’t have any magic with me. And why do you keep calling him my father when he isn't?" Twilight yelled.

“That's what you keep telling yourself, Twilight. It wasn’t taken away. You have to dig into it, and you have plenty of that right here.” A rectangle slid down and projected a scene that Twilight recognized. She saw her and her friends use the Elements for the first time and defeat Nightmare Moon. Another rectangle slid and showed Twilight curing her friends from the influence of Discord, and another of them using the Elements on him.

“But, my friends, they’re likely dead!” Twilight said.

“They may be dead out there, but they live on in here.” the unicorn said as she pointed her hoof at Twilight’s chest area.

"Well, what does that even mean?" the kaiju asked.

“As a certain pink pony said, it does not mean you cannot win, Twilight. It means you HAVE to win for your friends. Equestria and quite possibly even the world is at danger, and it’s up to you to save it all! You are the daughter of Godzilla!” the purple unicorn said as Twilight closed her eyes, leaving her to think.

Meanwhile, back in the real world, Godzilla was still fighting SpaceGodzilla, throwing him a safe distance away from the unconscious body of Twilight. Godzilla pushed against SpaceGodzilla as the two monsters were locked in a power struggle. SpaceGodzilla won in the end, pushing Godzilla into a crystal, causing blood to fly out, but not causing Godzilla to fall.

The King of Monsters merely shook his head and fired his blue atomic breath at SpaceGodzilla as he was walking towards him. He attempted to use Celestia and Luna's magic to reroute it back at Godzilla, who ducked at the last second. The King of Monsters roared at his opponent, who fired an atomic fireball at Godzilla, who countered with his own, creating a shockwave that shook the surrounding crystals, but did not destroy them.

Twilight snapped out of her pondering state and opened her eyes, walking towards her old unicorn self.

"You are still in denial, aren't you?" the unicorn said. Twilight nodded in response.

"Well, your memories as a baby will give you some hindsight." the unicorn replied as she pointed towards the direction the older memories are. Twilight walked across, looking back at the memories.

As Twilight walked farther into the past of her memories to find an answer, she passed many of her old memories, and has long passed the moment she got her cutie mark. At that point, she began to lose her memories, but not her knowledge. She remembered things like how to speak and stuff like mathematics and science, but her experiences, her whole identity, except her first name, were another story. As she went further and further into the past, her experiences faded away from her.

However, her objective remained, and that was to go to the very beginning of it all. Twilight has passed everything, meeting Celestia for the first time, her time as a toddler, and her first words. All of it, down the drain. By the time she reached the one year mark, she had remembered nothing.

"Ugh, this is taking me nowhere, where am I, who am I?" Twilight said as she marched forth, clearly not remembering anything about her old life. She marched the same direction she always was, looking for answers. At the very beginning, there was a bright white light waiting for her.

"Oh hello, Mr. Light, what do you have in store?" Twilight said as she walked closer to the light, feeling the urge to touch it.

"I feel like I should touch it." the kaiju said as she reached out her right hand to touch it. The moment she sunk her forearm into the ball, a new memory flashed before her.

She saw a tall, black monster on an island, fighting a giant dragonfly dragon thing, defeating it in the process. It walked further into its island, where an egg resided. This egg was lavender with indigo spots and a pink, six-pointed star, just like the marks on Twilight's hips.

The beast, Godzilla, wrapped himself around the egg with sadness in his eyes. His mate and two sons were killed by that overgrown wasp the moment the met. At least he still had one last egg. Too bad his mate is not here as well, but his kind were naturally very good parents. She was ultimately poisoned by Megagirus when they fought, she could have been an excellent mother.

As the egg began to crack, the humans became afraid. What if the two interbreed? If they don't do something quick, they'll be here long after humankind has died out, went to space, or whatever. So, they invented a weapon to deal with it. All they had to do was take out the child. Their powerful cannon shot a beam of light at the egg and surrounded it just as the baby hatched halfway. The ball of light flew upwards before disappearing from one time period, and into another.

The next thing Twilight saw was a garden in some sort of castle. Two unicorns walked together, one male and one female. The male was blue with a dark blue mane and the female was light grey with a white and purple mane. They walked across the garden, admiring the scenery until they saw a light appear in the sky.

"Make a wish, dear." Twilight Velvet said to her husband, thinking it was a shooting star.

"Um, dear, I don't think that is a shooting star..." Nightlight said as the ball of light headed straight towards them. The two lept to the sides as the light faded away, revealing a small, newborn lavender-coated foal with a navyblue mane that had purple and pink strips on it. She harmlessly plopped to the floor, shivering violently as goo trailed behind her when she dragged across the ground.

"Um, Velvet? Why is there a foal there? Should we adopt her?" Nightlight asked his wife as she wiped the goo off her.

"Yes, dear, but what do you think we should name her?" Velvet asked. The two thought about it long and hard as they took the filly to the orphanage so they can adopt her. They regarded the night sky at the time they found her, and that sparkling light that carried her to the ground. And finally, Nightlight came up with a name.

"How about Twilight. Twilight Sparkle."

"I think that is a beautiful name." Velvet said as Twilight Sparkle cried. Nighlight stuck a pacifier into her mouth, and the little filly began suckling on it before all of Twilight's memories came rushing back to her. A purple aura was starting to from in the void.

Twilight gasped as she saw the internal magic light up her subconscious. She gave out a confident grin as she began to feel her magic return. She already felt stronger.

“Who am I? What am I? Those questions bother many people. Who you are depends on a lot of things, but I know who I am! I am Twilight Sparkle, the former Element of Magic, former student of Princess Celestia, and the daughter of the King of the Kaiju!” Twilight said as the area around her was turning white.

“So what if I die for good this time. If I have to die, I won’t die in vain. If I am going to die, if it really happens, I will die a protector, not a coward! I never thought I could be lonelier, but it is now that I realize that you are never alone, ever!” Twilight said as she got up, her wounds vanishing into thin air. She felt stronger than before, and she will assist her father if he is still fighting SpaceGodzilla.

"Dad, I'm coming to help you!" Twilight said as she ran towards the battle.

Daughter of Godzilla

View Online

Godzilla breathed heavily, lashing his tail at SpaceGodzilla, hitting him in the face, but not before he made a move. The crystalline beast attempted to impale his weakened counterpart with his tail if it weren't for a small atomic breath hitting his face. Godzilla looked at the attacker in shock. Twilight was flying a few dozen feet above the sky, magenta energy surging around her as she was descending to the ground like a heavenly angel.

<So, the little girl is back on her feet again. How touching, always coming back when there's someone in distress. Your own father failed, and so will you! Once you're done for, your friends are next.> SpaceGodzilla said.

"You wish. The moment you came here, you terrorized Equestria, covered it in crystals, and absorbed the two sisters. I was still in denial that first time, but now I've finally accepted my past." Twilight said as a familiar magenta aura began surrounding her hands. Godzilla thought that her magic had vanished completely when she changed back, and SpaceGodzilla was just as shocked.

<Do it, sweetie, and whatever you do, don't give up!> Godzilla said. SpaceGodzilla fired the Corona Beam at Twilight, who decided to teleport out of the way and fire an atomic breath at one of SpaceGodzilla's crystals, being careful not to destroy the princess trapped inside. SpaceGodzilla turned around and attempted to impale her with crystals, but the princess countered them with small atomic fireballs. He lunged towards Twilight and attempted to punch her, but she countered with a punch of her own, creating a powerful shockwave that caused the surrounding crystals to crack.

SpaceGodzilla had enough of this, and so did Twilight. The crystalline beast began to draw magic from Celestia and Luna and shot it right at Twilight, who countered with her own magic blast, creating an explosion of color.

"Note to self: free Celestia and Luna from that guy's crystals." Twilight thought as she dodged yet another blast, confirming what she should do. Twilight teleported behind SpaceGodzilla when he prepared another attack. She punched one of the shoulder crystals, cracking it and almost freeing Luna. Before she could free her and maybe Celestia, SpaceGodzilla turned around and did and attack of his, knocking Twilight back into a crystal, aiming to impale her, but Twilight went back to her balance and began pushing on the charging SpaceGodzilla before throwing him into the crystal, causing blood to fly out.

SpaceGodzilla roared and got out of the crystal, just as Twilight punched the right shoulder crystal, freeing Luna. She did the same thing to Celestia's crystal, but there was something off with the two sisters. For starters, they looked more grey than usual, and another thing to be noted, their cutie marks were gone and their manes lost their ethereal properties. The weakened alicorns shook their heads and got up, limping from the fight to sit it out.

"He has our magic, Twilight... you must defeat him and free our magic." Luna said as she and her sister lay down on the crystalline ground.

"Let's hope so... she has defeated so many with friendship, but this will be her first on her own. And, by the looks of it, well." Celestia said as the two behemoths continued their fight.

"But as Pinkie said, she always has her friends with her, even when they're far apart." Luna said as Twilight teleported behind her foe and did another atomic breath at him.

"In a sense, I guess you're right, Luna." Celestia said as the two continued to watch the fight. Both sides were tired and evenly matched by the looks of it.

<I must admit, you are a powerful foe, but I had enough of this. Even without my shoulder crystals, I'll destroy you.> the crystalline being said.

"You wish. You've been destroying my home, and it's about time we end this fight." Twilight said.

<Agreed, worm. Let's see if you can defeat me in this!> SpaceGodzilla said as he charged up a powerful super-Corona Beam and launched it at Twilight, who countered the blast with a red atomic breath mixed with her own magic.

The two powerful attacks met head on, seemingly evenly matched. However, SpaceGodzilla's blast is slowly advancing. Twilight thought that she would lose, but then, she thought of her memories. She thought of Twilight Velvet and Nightlight, how they adopted her and cared for her like she was one of their own. The ponies of Equestria weren't aware of her past, but Godzilla himself was.

She thought of how he wanted to make her, his daughter by blood, happy. She was in denial all those times and never thought of the perspective of the King of Monsters. Sure, the humans may have taken her away from him until her teens, but if they didn't then she would've probably never learned what she did, and Equestria would've turned out much worse if it were to still exist. She ignored the cracks of light forming in her body as she continued to think about herself, still in the conflict.

"What's going on with Twilight?" Celestia asked, her eyes widening at the glowing cracks.

"I don't know, but it's not stopping." Luna said as Twilight's blast intensified, pushing SpaceGodzilla's blast back. The light became brighter as Twilight's cracks grew. The blast's intensity created a dome made out of light and overtook SpaceGodzilla, killing him in the process. The dome of light continued to expand across Equestria, overwriting SpaceGodzilla's influence.

In the Hayseed Swamp, a large crystal broke open before vanishing, freeing a gigantic plant monster. Biollante looked both ways with her crocodile-esque head before moving southeast. She didn't know what happened, and she was pretty sure she did not want to know at all.

Godzilla got up, groaning. His injuries were completely healed, but where was Twilight? All he saw was smoke. He took notice of the two sisters, who had just regained their magic, looking just as sad as he felt. But this was not meant to last. When the smoke cleared, there was no sign of SpaceGodzilla, and in Twilight's place, a new/old being lay.

She looked like Twilight's old pony self, complete with lavender fur and a navyblue mane, but there were some things... of. One of the most obvious traits was that her tail wasn't that of a pony's, but it was longer and wider, covered in lavender fur and ended in a brush of hair that resembled her old tail. Her underside was no longer covered in fur, but black scutes, which also covered what used to be her hooves. Three clawed toes grew on her back feet while her front hooves were replaced by appendages that looked like hands. If you look closely, there were some minor differences. Her wings have became feathered again, but retained their singular claws, and her mouth had a set of fangs in the place of her original equine teeth.

It appears that Twilight had become a hybrid pony of some kind. Celestia and Luna walked over to Twilight's body and saw that she was still alive, but unconscious.

"Twilight's alive, Celestia!" Luna said as her sister nodded. In the background, Godzilla looked on. His little girl hadn't completely changed back to her pony self, but if she can live with her hybridized features and her friends can, then he can as well. She has grown up quite well, he was quite surprised at her bravery, to be honest. He couldn't be any prouder of his daughter than he is right now. She deserves a good, long rest after that series of events.

"Don't worry, we're by her side." a pink pony said as she went onto her snout.

"I gotta go now. Her party cannot build itself, ya know!" Pinkie said as she vanished just as quickly as she had came.

Time to Party

View Online

Twilight opened her eyes, waking from her long, sweet slumber to find herself in her castle's bedroom, wait, what?

"How is this possible! I would be too big, it doesn't make... sense." Twilight said as she looked at her arms, which were covered almost completely in lavender fur, bar her hands, which were covered in black scutes similar to that of a birds. Twilight pulled the covers to see that her body had become what looked like a mix between her pony and kaiju selves. She was pony shaped and sized, and even looked like her old self on some occasions, but there was much more than her new hands.

Her back hooves were replaced with the three-toed feet of a Godzillasaurus, again covered in black scales. Her tail was not that of a pony's, but was longer, about half the length of the rest of her body and covered in lavender fur, save for the underside, which was covered in black scales like her hands, feet, and belly are. Twilight patted her back to feel her two feathered wings rest upon it, each with a draconic claw on the. Twilight attempted to get up, only to go face first onto the floor.

Getting up to her familiar quadrupedal stance, she walked towards the mirror to get a better look. Her belly scales didn't continue up her neck, and her head was that of a pony's, but there were differences. Her old pony teeth were no more, replaced by a full set of fangs. Her eyes were also different, having orange sclera and yellow irises. If this were the old her from before the Nightmare Moon incident in this body, she would have freaked out big time. But with the events of the last month in place, she doesn't care.

The thoughts didn't last for long when she heard the door open.

"TWILIGHT!" seven familiar voices cheered from behind the hybrid. Twilight turned around to see her friends standing there, waiting for a hug. Twilight smiled and ran over to them, pulling them into her embrace.

"Twilight, thank goodness you are alive!" Spike said, shedding tears.

"And I'm glad to be alive. Dad would be proud of my work, and so would the rest of my family if they were still alive." Twilight said with a smile. There were not any answers.

"I'll tell you about that later on..." the hybrid pony added sheepishly, scratching the back of her head.

"But right now, it's time FOR A PARTY!!!" Pinkie chirped in her usual happy tone, pushing the lavender hybrid into the main room in mere seconds. To Twilight's surprise, everyone in Ponyville was there.

"WELCOME HOME, TWILIGHT!" they all yelled in unison.

"But... why aren't you freaking ou-"

"Save all your thoughts for later, because now, it's time to party." Pinkie said as she went to the kitchen to prepare a cake.

"If you say so." Twilight thought aloud. The party was great, there was no lying about it, but she was feeling a bit... reflective about the situation that happened back when. It's hard to be reflective during a Pinkie party, but not impossible.

Twilight thought back to the moment she first met Godzilla, her father. It's hard to believe that the people raising you are not really your family by blood. Twilight Velvet and Nightlight loved her like she was one of their own, and it was hard when you get the wake-up call of a lifetime. After her transformation, she was in denial. All Godzilla wanted to do was make her happy. They spent a month miles away from Equestria, and it was pretty bizarre, she's not gonna lie.

After that climactic monster battle, she needs a little something normal. And if a Pinkie party was normal, then she should dive in for some of the fun. At least they are happy to see her, she guessed her friends told the populace before or after they found her and they told them that it was alright. Either way, her friends are close. The party was great, and everyone had a blast.

Children and adults alike were happy that their lost princess was finally back in Equestria, and the cake Pinkie made was delicious, and everyone liked it. Twilight was happy to be back, and even felt confident enough to play with some of the kids. The party, which started in the morning, now was well into the night. It had dwindled a lot, but there were still a few adults around. As for Twilight, she was talking to two the princesses.

"Cheer up, Twilight. Even though your life turned out to be a lie, your bonds are very much real." Celestia said.

"Thanks, Celestia. You know what to say, but, there's one question remaining." Twilight said, hugging her mentor for a moment.

"What is it?" Luna asked.

"What am I gonna tell my adoptive parents?" Twilight said.

"You don't have to, but... how DID you know?" Celestia asked.

"Well, it all had to do with the mind's structure. Turns out that whatever my species is to be called had these hidden memories that continue all the up to when we first hatch from our eggs." Twilight said.

"Yeah, but it's too bad I can't visit your dreams anymore." Luna said before a pair of arms wrapped around her.

"But you cannot stop visiting me, though." Twilight explained as Celestia called for a chariot.

"You're right." Luna said as the three boarded the chariot to Canterlot. It was a beautiful ride, yet Twilight fell fast asleep.

1,000 Years Later...

Twilight walked across the halls of the castle, flashing back to that very moment in her life. She has grown quite a lot, and she was now as tall as Celestia was before she and Luna were killed in a war against an enemy she no longer remembers. Her mane now flowed in the nonexistent wind, creating a starry constellation effect much like Luna had, and her fur developed white gradient on her limbs, save for the black scales on her hands and feet.

She was now the sole ruler of Equestria, and she came such a long, long way. It was hard to think that she started out as a unicorn living in Canterlot, only to find her true heritage as the daughter of Godzilla. Now, she is the sole princess of Equestria, and now, she was a mother to three beautiful children. She came a long way, and Godzilla would definetly be proud of her.

THE END
