A new threat has arisen in the EQG world. An evil monster known as king ghidorah leads his army of aliens and mutants to conquer Earth, starting with CHS! But new heroes have risen to battle this evil. Go Go kaiju rangers!
This story is a crossover with monsters from the Godzilla universe, and My Little Pony: Equestria Girls. The main premise is that Godzilla Jr., Anguirus, Rodan, and Mothra Lea are attending CHS with the main cast. But when Ghidorah shows up to wreak havoc, the four heroic kaiju unleash their secret powers. Using their morphers, they become the mighty morphin' kaiju rangers!
It was just another day at CHS. The main six were going about their start of the school week. That is, until, four new students showed up in first period.
"What do you think of the new kids?" asked Rainbow Dash.
"They certainly look like a bunch of delinquents due to their style. With the exception of the girl with them" said Rarity.
"I think they look awesome! 20%less awesome than me, but still, awesome!" said Rainbow.
"Quiet!", whispered Sunset, "They're about to introduce themselves!"
The first one to speak was a boy with a neighpon skin tone, and bone-white hair, wearing charcoal black pants, black sneakers, a grey shirt with a white atomic energy symbol on it. His tone and voice completely disproved Rarity's observation.
"Hi! I'm Gojira Gojo the second. But please feel free to call me Junior." said Gojira. The next one was a light brown skinned boy with long dark brown hair, sporting a pair of tan jeans, combat boots, a brown tank top, and two spiked bracelets on each of his arms.
"My name is Anguirus Riku, nice to meet all of you." Anguirus simply stated. Up next was a yellowskinned boy decked out in red pants, a red hoodie, white sneakers, and red hair.
"What up CHS! Rodan Shou is in the house!" Rodan blurted our for the classroom to hear. The last new student was a girl with white skin that had a green tint to it. Her hair was green, and fell past her shoulders. Her outfit consisted of green sneakers, blue jeans, and a white blouse with rainbow scale pattern on the sleeves.
" I am Lea Yasu, pleased to meet all of you." Lea said with a warm smile. Soon they were given their new seats by Ms. Cheerilee. Junior was seated next to Sunset, Anguirus was put behind Rarity, Rodan was in front of AJ, and Lea was next to Fluttershy.
As the day went on, Sunset and her friends were at lunch when they noticed the four new students all sitting together. Given the last instance where a group of new students suddenly showed up Sunset was a bit cautious of these new kids on campus.
"We should throw them a party!"Pinkie suggested.
"I say we take the straight-forward method and question them!" Rainbow demanded.
"Please darling, they seem quite nice when you get to know them! Anguirus acts like quite the gentleman." Rarity said while blushing.
"Lea was pretty nice..." Fluttershy meekly said.
"They don't seem to be hostile, but maybe we should take caution." Twilight stated.
"I don't know, I'm getting a different feeling from them than I got during the whole incident with the Dazzlings." said Sunset, "I almost get...well, good feeling."
"Well, only one way to find out.." Applejack boldly stated.
"AJ what are you doing?!" the girls exclaimed. Applejack walked over to the table where Junior and his friends were sitting. They talked for a couple minutes as Applejack explained why her friends were interested in Junior and his group. An even more unexpected event happened as Junior got up and walked towards Sunset and her friends.
"Don't worry, my friends and I don't mean any harm. Applejack told me about the...history of events Canterlot High has had during this year."
"Well, thanks for putting our fears to rest Gojira" said Sunset.
"Please, call me Junior. We're all friends aren't we?" Junior said smiling.
"Okay, Junior." Sunset said with a smile.
Meanwhile, In a ship above Earth...
"So...this is Earth?"
"Yes master, such a weak world."
" Then let the invasion begin. This world shall know fear and terror! It will know...THE POWER OF KING GHIDORAH! HA HA HA HA!!"
The next day, Sunset and her friends took up Pinkie's suggestion and threw a party for Junior and the others at Sugar Cube Corner. All was going swell until Junior's watch started beeping.
'Uh-Oh' Junior thought, "Excuse me Sunset, but I've gotta go!"
"Go? Where too?"
"I have a call I need to take Outside. Won't be long!"
"Oh..OK."
Outside
"I'm here. Moll, Lora, what's up?"
"Junior! We've detected alien bio signs in Canterlot! You and the other rangers are needed immediately!"
"So much for the party..."Junior mumbled glumly.
Back Inside
"I'm sorry guys, but something BIG came up. Thanks for the party Pinkie, but we've got something we need to handle."
"WHAT? But we haven't even gotten to the games yet...", Pinkie said sadly.
"What could be bigger than one of Pinkie Pies' parties?!", Rainbow demanded.
"PEOPLE OF EARTH!"
"How about that!" Rarity screamed.
An evil figure appeared on a hologram big enough for the whole city to see,
"I AM KING GHIDORAH! I'VE COME FOR YOUR PLANET, AND ALL WHO OPPOSE ME WILL BE DESTROYED! AS I SPEAK, MY FORCES HAVE BEGUN THE INVASION OF YOUR CITY! WE POSSESS POWER AND TECHNOLOGY THAT GREATLY SURPASSES YOURS. I'LL LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING THE FEAR IN ALL YOUR FACES WHEN I CLAIM VICTORY! MUAHAHAHA!"
"Come on guys, we better get going!" Junior whispered to his friends. "Right!" They all took their leave as Sunset and the others were focused on Ghidorah's threat. They would have left unnoticed, if Sunset hadn't caught them out of the corner of her eye.
"Huh? Where's Junior off to?"
"I say we follow them! This way!" Rainbow yelled.
"Wait up Rainbow Dash!" they all screamed.Sunset and the others trailed Junior, Anguirus, Rodan, and Lea to an alley, making sure to keep out of sight as they listened in.
"Go go kaiju rangers!" they called out after the finished morphing. Sunset and her friends saw figures in strange armor-like uniforms standing in the place of Junior and his friends. The sight was so unbelievable, they had stepped out of their hiding place.
"Uh...guys?"
"What Rodan?" asked Lea.
"We might've been followed..." he was pointing to Sunset and the others. Junior stepped towards Sunset and the rest of the Mane Six.
"I'm sorry we didn't tell you all we were..."
"Totally awesome super heroes!" Rainbow interrupted.
"Yes, that. I promise to explain this all later. But right now, my friends and I have a city to save! Let's go guys!"As Junior and the other kaiju rangers went to fight off Ghidorah's forces, Sunset and her friends couldn't help wishing them luck in their battle against evil.
"Well ah'll be Sunny," Applejack said "your feeling about that bunch was right on the nail!"
Ghidorah's forces, known as trilopods began their advance on Canterlot. As civilians fleed the oncoming invaders, it seemed as if nothing could stand in the way of this menace. Unfortunately for Ghidorah's minions, they hadn't counted on one thing.
"Hey ugly!", the trilopod barely had any time to pinpoint the voice's origin before receiving a kick to the face. "Pick on someone your own size!"
"This is no time to get cocky Rodan. They might not be much in terms of raw power, but they still got the advantage in numbers!". Anguirus and Rodan were engaging the invaders downtown, with Junior and Lea following closely.
"No matter how many we strike down they just keep coming!"
"Goji! I think now would be a good time to bust out the heavy duty gear!"
"Good idea Lea! Alright guys, let's show these creeps what we're really made of!"
The rangers then summoned their weapons to bring a quick end to the battle. Junior summoned his atomic flame sword and blaster, taking down trilopods left and right with lightning fast strikes and blaster fire. Rodan whipped out his wrist-mounted heat beam blasters and activated his suit's wings, letting him rain fire down upon his foes. Anguirus called out his gauntlets and greaves, which he put to good use bashing aliens all over the place. Lea used her power bow to fire bolts of energy and take out enemies out of her reach. It wasn't long before King Ghidorah's "mighty invasion force" was destroyed, and the would-be conqueror wasn't happy about it.
"HOW?! How could my forces be defeated by such a miniscule group of warriors!?! WHO ARE YOU?!", Ghidorah howled in rage.
Junior answered as he and the others turned to face the furious hologram of the invaders' leader, "Listen up Ghidorah! Earth isn't for the taking! No matter how hard you try, we'll stop you! Because we're the kaiju rangers!"
"Very well kaiju rangers, enjoy your victory while you can. But mark my words, you've not seen the last of me! I have far more powerful minions lying in wait!"
As King Ghidorah's hologram faded from view, the citizens of Canterlot cheered for their newest heroes as rangers warped back to the alley where Sunset and her friends had discovered their secret and were waiting for them after the battle. As Junior and his friends powered down, Rainbow Dash was the first to congratulate them.
"THAT...WAS...AWESOME!!!"
"You certainly showed those ruffians a thing or two!", Rarity added.
"Way to give those varmints the what-for!", Applejack cheered. Pinkie was already cooking up the idea for thanks-for-saving-the-city-from-evil-aliens-party. Fluttershy's response was a little less vocal.
"yay!"
Sunset and Twilight still couldn't believe what they saw, and were speechless until Twilight worked up the nerve to speak. "Sooo....weren't all of you going to explain how you turned into superheroes right about now?"
Junior promptly replied "You're right Twilight, but here isn't the best place to explain.", Junior then activated his communicator,"Moll, Lora, do you read me? Get ready to teleport us and seven others to the command center. A couple of our friends found out our secret."
"Understood Junior. Teleporting now!"
In a flash of light, the rangers and their friends were teleported to the command center. Twin girls, one wearing red and one wearing blue greeted them.
"I'm Moll!", the red twin greeted.
"And I'm Lora!" the one in blue said.
"Pleased to meet you all!", the twins said in unison.
"Moll, Lora, allow me to introduce our friends.", Junior got right to introductions and pointed to each of Sunset and her friends as he mentioned them, "These are Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Fluttershy, Rarity, Twilight Sparkle, and Sunset Shimmer. Welcome to the command center!".
Sunset then asked the burning question, "So, how are you all able to turn into costumed superheroes?".
"Easy!", Rodan replied as he took our a belt-buckle-like device, "With these beauties, our morphers! Each one has an icon in the center with our respective kaiju on it! The same goes for our ranger suits!"
"Okay, but who built this command center and gave you the morphers?"
"That would be me.", said a serene voice. It belonged to white-skinned woman with long brown hair and blue eyes, who was wearing a dress that seemed to be patterned after the wings of a butterfly.
"Hi Mom!", Lea said.
Sunset and her friends nearly screamed at the top of their lungs "MOM?!".
Mothra only gave a light chuckle "Yes, Mom. And to answer your question Ms. Shimmer, I choose them all to become rangers. I sensed the looming threat of King Ghidorah, and had Lea find three youths with courage, determination, loyalty, and kindness.
"It also helped that those three just so happened to be my closest friends. ", Lea added with a small giggle.
"But, how did you build this whole place?"
"Now Sunset, you didn't think you and your friends were the only ones with magic did you? All of my ancestors and my daughter all have powerful magic. And it only gets stronger every generation. That's how I was able to construct this base.".
"I guess we all have more in common than I thought.", said Sunset.
"You're referring to the magical disturbances you and your friends have dealt with right?", Lea asked.
"Yeah, and don't worry. We promise not to tell anyone your secret."
"We Pinkie Promise!", Pinkie interjected. Everyone had a good laugh, until the warning alarm picked up mutant bio-signs.
Anguirus was the first to pull up the monitor We've got trouble! It looks like Ghidorah's sent one of his mutants to attack the city! His name's Krystallak, and he's currently trashing the shopping district!"
Junior turned to Sunset and her friends "You should stay here, but that doesn't mean you can't be of any help. You can communicate with us from the command center, so feel free to give us tips on how we might be able to defeat tough opponents!"
"Don't worry Big G, you can count on us!", Rainbow boasted.
Krystallak was reveling at the sight of people fleeing his path. "Hah! Those rangers may be able to take out weaklings like the trilopods, but I'll destroy them as if they were bugs! Never send morons to do the job of a mutant!". He then continued his parade of destruction until the kaiju rangers arrived.
Junior was the first to challenge the crystal-covered mutant "Leave these people alone Krystallak! Your fight's with us!"
"Man, this guys just screams all kinds of ugly! Rarity would scream if she all those pretty crystals attached to THAT thing!", Rodan remarked. Krystallak was a reptilian beast that had crystals on his head and back, tail, and crystal shards as his claws. All in all, he looked like a frenzied beast and seemed to fight like one too, as the rangers soon found out.
"You fools don't stand a chance against me! SHARD STORM!" Krystallak yelled as he shot a flurry of crystal shards that exploded on impact with their targets. Lea was able to create a magic barrier, blocking most of the razor-sharp shards sent hurtling their way. Krystallak then decided to change tactics, curling into a ball and launching himself like a buzzsaw against the barrier. As it began to crack the barrier, he went berserk and unleashed a frenzy of wild strikes against it. Then, he fired his crystal energy breath, it wouldn't be long before the barrier would fall.
Lea was starting to panic "He isn't letting up! I don't know if I can keep it up much longer!"
At this point, Junior couldn't take any more of the crazed mutant's tactics, and charged forth with his sword "Let's see if Krystallak is shatter proof!", he cried as he summoned his sword and charged the mutant.
Krystallak responded with a savage smile, and used his crystal claws to serve as his own blades. Junior was having trouble keeping up with his frenzied movements. Not only did he have to watch out for the claws on Krystallak's hands, but he also had to watch for the claws on his feet! But when Krystallak tried to kick him, Junior tripped him up with a low sweep kick! As soon as he went on the offensive, Junior noticed Krystallak was guarding the center crystal on his head. Trusting his instincts, Junior leapt into the air and executed a spinning sword strike. Krystallak was caught by surprise, and couldn't shield himself in time as Junior shattered the crystal.
"Aaagh! YOU BRAT! You shattered my regulator crystal! No... no.. NO! My power! Can't...control....", Krystallak tried in a vain effort to control the storm of energy that was released after his regulator crystal was destroyed.
Anguirus took note of this as the best chance to finish the mutant off, and whipped out his sonic cannon. "Looks like you've got a glass jaw!" he said as he fired a sonic blast, shattering more crystals and releasing more energy. With his energy totally destabilized, Krystallak exploded leaving nothing but a pile of shards.
Back on his ship, King Ghidorah was outraged at the outcome of the battle "Grrr...Belvera!" "Yes, my lord?" "Use a potion bomb to enlarge and revive Krystallak! I WANT THOSE RANGERS DESTROYED!"
"As you wish. Potion bomb, revive Krystallak!", Belvera called as the bomb revived Krystallak and made him grow to the size of a building.
Krystallak soon took advantage of his new size "Hey you little punks! You're in big trouble now!"
At that time, Junior thought now would be a good time to play the giant robot card "Moll, Lora! We need the megazord now!"
"Right Junior!", the twins said in unison, "Calling the zords now!"
From the Kaiju Zord Island, the zords awakened. Rodan's zord flew right up from the mouth of a volcano, Anguirus's zord rose up from the earth, Junior's rose up from the sea, and Lea's descended from the sky. The three dinosaur-like zords combined together to form the kaiju megazord, while Lea's transformed into the giga moth megazord. The two robotic titans clashed with Krystallak, each dealing powerful punches and kick until the mutant was on his last legs.
"Time to end this! Summon power sword!" Junior yelled. And just as he said it, a gigantic sword materialized in a flash of light. With one quick slash, Krystallak exploded!
Back at the command center, Sunset and her friends cheered for the rangers' victory! "Way to kick serious butt guys!", Rainbow hollered.
"Yeehaw! Way to stick it to the varmint!", Applejack cheered.
"Now it's definitely party time! ", Pinkie screamed.
"I knew you guys could do it!", Sunset said with a smile.
"Thanks everyone,", Junior replied, "but I don't think our fight is completely over. Something tells me King Ghidorah has even more monsters tucked away."
'I can't believe those traitors!', Destoroyah's mind was seething with rage, 'How could they betray Biollante and side with Ghidorah?! The same monster who struck her down! Xen...wherever you are...I hope you're safe'
As Destoroyah was walking Canterlot's streets, it seemed odd that none of the people were screaming or running in terror. Namely because she was one of the few mutants that were human in form only. Her power allowed her to fire bolts of micro-oxygen that could dissolve almost any material. However, her power alone wasn't enough to save Biollante. As she was walking down the street, she caught something of interest on one of the TV screens on display. The battle between the kaiju rangers and Krystallak. "These rangers...they were able to defeat Krystallak! Maybe they can help me! Only one way to get them to find me without causing trouble!", Destoroyah said as she raised her aura by a small degree, hoping that her bio-signs would be spotted by the rangers. Unfortunately, it attracted someone else first.
King Ghidorah was the first to pick up on Destoroyah's aura, "So it seems one of the two students who stayed loyal to Biollante still lives. Megaguirus!"
A woman wearing insect-like armor stepped forth, "No need to dispense with orders master. It'll be fun to play with Destoroyah again! She will either be brought before you and join us, or I will destroy her!", Megaguirus said with a vicious smile on her face.
Destoroyah continued walking until she bumped into Applebloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scotaloo. "Oh, sorry about that. All of you OK?" Contrary to her intimidating appearance, Destoroyah was actually quite a nice girl. However, the crusaders were having trouble finding that out due to her choice of clothing being a biker jacket, ripped jeans, a black tank top, and black boots.
"Uh...y-yeah we're just fine.", Scootaloo said nervously.
"Nice of ya to ask.", Applebloom said quickly
"I...like your clothes...", Sweetie Belle said.
Destoroyah only smiled, knowing they found her appearance a little bit scary. The smile quickly faded as she sensed another mutant heading in her direction. 'Oh no...Megaguirus! These kids could get stuck in the crossfire!'"You three need to get out of here now!"
Before the crusaders could ask why, Megaguirus landed in the area. "Hello Des. What's wrong? You not happy to see your old friend? Aw, who are your little friends?", she said with a sneer.
"You leave them alone!", Destoroyah growled, "And don't try to be all buddy-buddy with me! I know why you're here! Tell your master I won't join him! I'd rather die than betray my home!"
"So be it...", Megaguirus said with venom, "AS YOU WISH!"
At the command center, Twilight noticed the alarm was going off like crazy! "Lea! Take a look at these mutant bio-signs, it looks like two mutants are fighting each other!
"Hmm...one of the readings is Megaguirus, and the other is unknown. This new mutant seems to be trying to stop Megaguirus from attacking a group of kids.
It was at that moment that Applejack, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash noticed the crusaders on the monitor."Applebloom!" "Sweetie Belle!" "Scoots!"
"Don't worry. We'll save them! Come on guys, let's go!", Junior vowed to the three of them.
Back in the city, Destoroyah was almost on her last legs in the fight against Megaguirus. Her opponent stopped to gloat in her face, "And so it ends for Biollante's prize pupil...". The crusaders had taken shelter behind some rubble, hoping that any moment the kaiju rangers would show up to defeat the monster trying to destroy their new friend. Their wishes were soon granted.
"Leave her alone Megaguirus! It's us you wanna fight!"
Megaguius smiled evily, "Finally ! I was hoping I would get some fresh victims!", she said as stingers protruded from her fore arms.
Anguirus charged in first, hoping to wipe the grin off her face with one well placed punch! Unfortunately, Megaguirus managed to fly past him and latch onto him with her stingers. She then siphoned some of his energy to gain his strength. Anguirus fell to his knees, feeling weakened by the drain. Lea was able to use her magic to restore him, but Megaguirus took notice!
"So you can restore their energy huh? Maybe I should drain you dry so I'll never need to feed again!", Megaguirus screamed with a predatory smile on her lips.
"Lea!", Junior cried as he blocked the crazed mutant's path. Megaguirus hadn't expected him to get in her way, but didn't mind since his energy was powerful. Once she had what she needed, she used her new ability for a test drive.
"Time to play with my new toy! Atomic Blast!", she cried as she fired what looked like a shot from Junior's atomic flame blaster!
The rangers started to feel outmatched! They were up against a foe who could not only steal their energy, but also copy their abilities! Rodan was the most worried because she could become unstoppable if she absorbed Lea's energy!
As the rangers engaged the enemy, Destoroyah heard a serene voice speak to her in her mind. 'Hello Destoroyah. I have been waiting for you.' 'What? Who are you?' 'My name is Mothra. The rangers have come to help you, but they can't beat Megaguirus alone. You know that.'. Mothra was right. Megaguirus had managed to siphon some of Junior's energy, and gained the ability to shoot out bolts of energy like the atomic flame blaster.
'What can I do to help the rangers?', Destoroyah asked.
'You can join the team...', Mothra said.
Soon enough, a morpher appeared in Destoroyah's hand. She knew what she had to do. "IT'S MORPHIN' TIME!"
Now in ranger form, Destoroyah joined the battle, "Miss me Meg?"
Megaguirus was both shocked and enraged, "What? You're a ranger now?!"
"And proud to join the team!", Destoroyah boasted. She then summoned her weapon, the beam katana. In a series of blinding slashes. Then she used her micro-oxygen blaster to finish the job! Megaguirus was destroyed in the resulting explosion. "", Destoroyah said confidently.
Ghidorah was furious at the sight of Megaguirus' defeat, and launched a potion bomb to revive her and bring out her true form. A gigantic dragonfly-like creature with big pincers on her tail. "Round 2 Des!"
In response to the revived threat, Destoroyah decided to try something new, "Time to take my new zord for a test drive! Rangers, I'll give you air support! You just make sure you finish her off!". Destoroyah's zord looked like a bipedal dinosaur with bat wings and a horn blade on its' head. The other rangers formed the megazord, but couldn't get a lock on Megaguirus as she did multiple dive-bomb runs. Until Destoroyah used her zord's horn katana to cut one of Megaguirus's wings, and it's breath weapon to burn a hole through the other. This grounded Megaguirus long enough for the rangers to finish her off with the power sword. One critical slash, and the fight was ended!
Once they were back to the command center, Junior, the other rangers, and the HuMane 7 welcomed Destoroyah to the team, "You did a great job out there Destoroyah! I know we'll all get to be good friends.
"Welcome to the mighty morphin' kaiju rangers!", the rangers, and Sunset and her friends all yelled.
Destoroyah simply smiled, knowing not only that she was able to use her powers to protect Earth, but that she had also made new friends to help her along the way. But at the same moment in her mind, she couldn't help but wonder if her old friend was safe. "Xen....where are you?"
The events from the weekend had come and gone, and Destoroyah was reflecting upon the life she had before she was part of the rangers while the school day dragged on. 'I can't believe all of this craziness has happened in just a short time. Man, this has been the most turbulent week of my life. It seems like only yesterday I was back home on Mutant Isle, with Xen...". The young mutant's mind then drifted into the sea of her memories, to happy moments she had before her world was turned upside down. The time when Biollante took her in, and trained her how to control her powers. But most important of all to her, was when she met Xenilla, her closest friend. His image was still fresh in her mind, wearing his signature outfit consisting of blue sneakers, blue cargo pants, a plain red shirt, and a blue jacket that fell to his knees. 'He was the strongest out of all of us, but despite his great power he was always humble and diplomatic. Xen would usually try talking his way out of problems before blasting them with his corona ray. And like Master Biollante, he could use his powers to create! He was able to make some EPIC castles with those crystals he could control.'
Junior soon noticed that Destoroyah's head seemed to be elsewhere, and decided to bring her back to Earth, "Des..Des! Des!" "Hm?" "You seem out of it. Everything alright?" "Sorry, I was just remembering an old friend of mine. Truth be told, you look almost exactly like him. Except his eyes were red instead of yellow, and his hair was almost as white as snow and not bone-white and fell to his back while yours falls to your shoulders." "Huh. With that description, we could almost be brothers! Well, just feel free to talk about things with us and Sunset and her friends. Remember, you're part of our team. That means first and foremost, you're our friend too." "Thanks Junior. I really needed to hear that.". Destoroyah then turned her attention to the crystal necklace Xenilla had given her as a gift. With her mind soon snapping back to the present, she failed to notice that said necklace was now faintly glowing purple.
Meanwhile in the mountains overlooking Canterlot, a lone figure stood watching the city. He was clad in blue with the exception of the shirt he wore under his jacket. Around his neck was a crystal necklace identical to Destoroyah's , except his was glowing a bright red. "I've finally found her! I knew if anyone could escape it would be her! Don't worry Destoroyah! I'm coming, and it seems I you've met my little brother as well. Guess it's time for a family reunion."
Things were NOT going Rainbow Dash's way. This new kid showed up out of nowhere, and joined CHS right out of the blue! He also seemed to show up her up in sports, and Sunset and Twilight in science and math. But what was most disturbing of all, was how much he looked like Junior! 'Where did this guy come from? He looks like Junior, but his attitude is completely different! He's cold, and then he shows my friends and I up in almost no time flat. At least he doesn't brag about it, I gotta give him that.' "Excuse me.". Rainbow was snapped out of her thoughts by the boy's voice, "Have you seen a boy that looks like me, but wearing black instead and that has yellow eyes?" "You know Junior? Who are you and why do you want to find him?!" "Let's just say...it's a family matter. And as for who I am, my name is Xenilla."
Junior felt great! Everything seemed to be going his and his friends' way! Rodan managed to score a date with Applejack; Lea, Twilight, and Fluttershy seemed to be getting quite close, Destoroyah seemed to be in better spirits, Anguirus and Rarity became an item, and he and Sunset seemed to becoming good friends too. Nothing could bring him down now! But at that same moment, he felt a chill run down his spine, 'I sense a great disturbance in the force! A presence that feels similar to mine, yet alien at the same time! What could be the cause of...' "Hello brother.". Junior froze in his tracks, as he turned behind him, he singled out a single individual out of the busy hallway. It was almost like looking in a mirror, "Who are you? And why did you call me 'brother'?" "Surely Destoroyah has mentioned me?" "YOU'RE Xenilla? No wonder she said we looked alike. So...how are you my brother?" "I'm the product of our dear father's previous marriage, sadly he couldn't care for me himself and left me in the care of our aunt. Biollante." "Okay, but this all raises an important question. Why are you here?" "Simple, brother. I'm here because I've seen your fights with Ghidorah's mutants. And have seen fit to replace you" "So, this is what they call a 'heart-warming family reunion." "You got that right. " "Tell me, just how do you plan on replacing me? By destroying me?" "What? No! I just wanted to challenge you to fight. Best out of two gets to lead the rangers. Me and my mutant powers against you in your ranger suit. Two days from now. Everybody walks away alive." "Okay...see ya in two days...bro."
As the school day drew to a close, Xenilla was able to catch up with Destoroyah and decided to surprise her. "Hey Des!". Destoroyah couldn't believe what she saw, "Xen?! You did escape! But, why are you here?" "I came to see Junior, my little brother. And I've also challenged him for being the leader of the rangers." "You always did like to show people up. Just don't try anything too drastic." "Come on Des, you know I'm better than that.". Destoroyah only smiled as Xenilla walked away. Her best friend was back, and that was all that really mattered at the moment.
Xenilla was headed towards his crystal chamber, until he felt a dark presence behind him. As he turned to see who had tailed him, his face contorted into an expression of shock and anger, "Ghidorah!". Xen launched an all-out assault against the evil being, firing of corona blasts and shooting crystal shards with his telekinesis. But try as he might, he was soon overpowered by Ghidorah and fell unconscious. Ghidorah then brought him to his ship, "Soon I shall have my own kaiju ranger. One who will obey me, and destroy the others. Starting with you brother Junior!"
Aboard his ship, Ghidorah brought out the kaiju coin he managed to steal from mutant isle. "Belvera, have you made any progress trying to convert the kaiju coin so that it will allow me to control my kaiju ranger?" "No master, but I DO have something that will bring him under control.", she said as she brought out a sword made of black crystals, "The aerneth saber, strike the coin with this and Xenilla will be under your control." Ghidorah did as Belvera said, and struck the coin with the saber. He then produced the morpher that the coin was meant for, and inserted the coin. Dark energy crackled from the morpher as it was horrifically modified by the tainted kaiju coin. "Rest well Xenilla.", Ghidorah cackled, "Because in two days, you have rangers to destroy!"
Ghidorah couldn't suppress his joy! A mutant with the strength to rival the leader of the kaiju rangers was now under his command. And to top it off, the mutant was Junior's own brother AND he now had a morpher which meant Ghidorah now had his own kaiju ranger as well! All that was left was to just sit back and watch the battle, "So Xenilla challenged Junior to a duel for leadership of the kaiju rangers...interesting. I'll send one of my monsters to finish off the other rangers while they grieve for Junior after Xenilla has destroyed them! Victory is mine!"
It was the day that Junior and Xenilla had chosen to duel, it had started to rain as Junior and the other rangers headed towards the battlefield Xenilla had chose. They were in for quite the unpleasant surprise. Xenilla was there waiting for them, but he wasn't alone. Beside him was Orga, one of Ghidorah's strongest monsters. Needless to say, Junior was shocked at the sight before him, "Xen...what are you doing with this creep? Don't you know he's one of Ghidorah's goons?!" "I do brother, and I also realize who I should truly stand with! Hail King Ghidorah, and the destruction of the kaiju rangers!"
Destoroyah was heart broken. Her best friends, the guy she'd known for most of her life, had just sold them out. Grief gave way to sorrow, and sorrow gave way to rage, "How Xen? HOW COULD YOU STAB US IN THE BACK?! HOW COULD YOU JOIN THE MONSTER THAT DESTROYED BIOLLANTE?!" "Simple. It's good to be bad! But I'm not going to destroy you or the rest of your friends. I'm here for Junior. Ready your morpher brother! Our battle begins! IT'S MORPHIN' TIME!"
Xenilla then morphed into his ranger form. His suit was red on the inner parts, and blue on the outer parts. On each of his shoulders was a large crystal, and a small crystal horn with two spikes on each side was on his helmet. Junior was confused, two days earlier Xenilla seemed to be the nicest guy on the planet. And now, he was acting like they were mortal enemies! 'What happened to him? This doesn't add up!' "Lea! Get in touch with Sunset at the command center! I can't quite explain it, but this isn't the same Xenilla I met two days ago. It might be some kind of mind-control magic. And if anyone can figure out how to undo it it's her!" "I'm on it Junior!". As Lea got in touch with Sunset, Junior morphed into his ranger form and called out his sword. Xenilla smiled coldly, "So, you have one of those too?", Xenilla then sneered as he summoned the aerneth saber Ghidorah had given him, "With this blade, I will put an end to you!". The two rangers clashed, each trying to strike each other with all their might until one of them gained the upper hand!
Back in the command center, Sunset had just gotten Lea's message and was watching the clash between Junior and Xenilla. She was wondering what sort of magic could turn Xenilla so easily. And then it hit her the moment Xenilla summoned that sword made of black crystals, crystals that were radiating dark magic. 'That sword's made of aerneth crystals! Aerneths can be used to magnify anger in a person, and control their minds! But mind control can only be done if someone makes contact with an object that was tainted by one. Meaning Xenilla's morpher must have been struck with that sword!' "I know how to break the spell!", Sunset then contacted Junior, "Junior, do you read me? It's the sword! You have to break Xenilla's sword! That's what's causing him to act this way! One concentrated blast from your atomic flame blaster should do the trick!" "Thanks Sunset.", Junior said. Junior then launched his counter attack, putting all his effort into disarming his brother. As soon as he saw his chance, he kicked Xenilla so hard that he lost his grip on the sword and was knocked back by the force of the blow. Junior then took aim, and fired a charged shot at the sword that destroyed it upon impact. With the aerneth saber gone, Xenilla clutched his head as the sword's taint left his morpher, causing him to power down. "No...what have I done? I can't believe I made such a stupid mistake! I should've run! I..." "Stop that!", Junior snapped, "What you did while you were manipulated wasn't your fault. Sure, it may have been your body fighting. But that wasn't your heart, it wasn't the heart of my brother. I forgive you, and my friends forgive you. Now the only question left is, can you forgive yourself? ". Xenilla's head started to lift up, and a small smile managed to crack upon his face, "Yes...yes I can." "Good. Now then, I believe we owe that ugly punk that was standing on the sidelines a grade A butt-kickin'! Family style!"
Orga was definitely in the worst possible situation. Not only had Xenilla been released from Ghidorah's control, but now there were SIX rangers ready to beat the living snot out of him! 'So much for Ghidorah's "great master plan". Now would be a good time to grow up!', Orga thought, "Master Ghidorah! Your plan backfired! Xenilla is free of your control, and I require a potion bomb to even the playing field!". Soon enough, a potion bomb was dropped and Orga grew to gigantic size! The other rangers were about to call their zords, but Xenilla stopped them. "This is my own mess, let me clean it up! Destoroyah! Let's show this creep what our zords can do!". As Destoroyah called her zord from the sky, Xenilla summoned his from the moon. Again, Xen's zord looked almost identical to Junior's zord with the exception of color, the crystal-like structures on each shoulder, and the small horn on its' head. The two zords then combined, with Xenilla's forming the main body and legs while Destoroyah's formed the arms, wings, and head to create the DestroXen megazord! The new megazord then made short work of Orga with its' sword, the crystal horn katana. And then it finished him off with the micro-oxygen-corona cannon. Orga tried to consume the energy blast, but it exploded in his stomach, causing him to blow up from the inside-out! After the battle, the rangers powered down and returned to the command center. Xenilla couldn't believe how easily everyone was able to forgive him, "I'm sorry ...", he said as tears started to from in his eyes, "...because of me, I almost got you all hurt! I...I...", Sunset walked up to him and put a hand on his shoulder, "It wasn't your fault, so don't beat yourself up so much. Trust me, I know what it's like to make a mistake so big you feel like no one will ever forgive you. But my friends forgave me, and everybody was a willing to give me another chance. Please, let your brother and his friends do the same for you.". Destoroyah then walked up to Xen, "What do you say Xen? We accept you, will you accept us?". Xenilla smiled, tears still streaming down his face, "Yes, I do.". As the rangers and Sunset and her friends welcomed the newest team member, Mothra watched with a knowing smile with only one thought on her mind, 'Friendship really is magic.'
Shortly after Xenilla joined with the rangers, Ghidorah's forces were outclassed in almost every field. With little options left, Ghidorah sent a mutant who could rival Xenilla's powers, Obsidious. Or at least, he thought Obsidious could. Xenilla and the rangers had him on the ropes almost immediately. Xen approached their opponent with an offer, "Stand down Obsidious, and we will spare your life. This is your first and last warning. Please, don't do something we'll both regret.". Obsidious only defiantly roared his reply, "Surrender?! To you?! Never! I'll prove I'm stronger than you! THIS IS THE END XENILLA! I AM THE STRONGEST CRYSTAL MASTER!" Before he could even land a hit, Obsidious soon fell to his knees catching Xenilla sheathing his crystal saber out of the corner of his eye. "I'm sorry it had to come to this...", Xenilla said as Obsidious exploded.
Ghidorah was furious, "Don't bother with a potion bomb! After all the others defeats the kaiju rangers have dealt me, it makes little difference reviving that useless pile of rocks!"
Belvera took note of her master's foul mood, and an idea came to her. "My lord, I believe I have a solution to your ranger problem."
"Explain."
"The Mothra ranger seems to be the brains of the bunch. If we can remove her, the rangers will fall. Victory will be yours at last!".
Ghidorah cracked a sinister grin, " Yes, and I know the two monsters for the job. Daghara and Hedorah are walking slabs of pollution. I shall send them to contaminate the city's water supply. This should prove to be excellent bait, for my trap! HAHAHA!"
Soon enough, Daghara and Hedorah arrived at the city's water supply plant. "So Ghidorah wants us to pollute the water huh? Well my main muck-man, let's start this party!" Hedorah only gurgled in response. It wasn't long before the rangers arrived on the scene.
Rodan was not only disgusted with their enemy's appearance, but their smell too, "Ugh! What dumpster did these creeps crawl out of? They reek!"
"Joking aside Rodan, we can't let them infect the water!", Junior said as he readied his blaster. Junior first engaged Hedorah, but something unexpected happened when he fired at the walking pile of sludge. Hedorah nearly vaporized on impact of the blast! Namely because of the unstable toxic chemicals that made up his body.
Daghara was enraged and went over to what was left of his partner, "Don't worry pal, I'll absorb your essence into my body. We will become one!" As Daghara absorbed Hedorah's pieces, his from shifted into an even more gruesome sight, "We are Daghadorah! And we shall destroy the divine moth!". All of the rangers except Lea were clueless as to what he meant, but they wouldn't have time to figure it out. Daghadorah prepared his ultimate attack, and fired a swarm of red starfish-like creatures at the rangers, but luckily, Lea was able to form a barrier to shield them. However, there was no end in sight of the blitz of projectiles. As the barrier began to break, Lea pushed the other rangers back and took the full force of the barrage.
Junior could only scream in horror, "LEAAA!"
The rangers instantly teleported back to the command center, startling Sunset and her friends with sight before them. Twilight was the first one to rush to Lea's side, "What happened to her? It looks like these red starfish are draining her energy!".
Xenilla then attempted to remedy the disaster, "Everybody stand back! I'm going to try using one of my healing crystals!", Xenilla then pulled out a blue crystal and placed on Lea. A flash of blue light went off as the crystal's healing energies were put to use, but it was a vain effort. Xen's crystal had no effect on Lea's condition at all, "Why isn't this working?! This has never happened in all the times I've used this technique!".
Mothra soon stepped in, "Calm down Xenilla. Lea's affliction can only be cured by another of the divine moth lineage, like myself. Sadly, I don't have enough energy to cast the spell. But...there is another way."
Junior steeled himself, "Whatever it is, do it. Please, we'll do anything as long as it means we can save her."
"You can count us in too!", Twilight shouted.
Mothra smiled, "Thank you all for your resolve, but only I shall be needed for this. Before he passed, Lea's father, Battra, gave his energy to her shortly after she was born. Because it was so great, I put locks on Lea's full power to keep it at a stable level. If I release the lock now, the energy should just be able to heal Lea! I can activate the spell, but once I cast it the rest is up to my daughter."
After Mothra cast the spell, Lea's mind soon drifted into a strange place. "Where...where am I?", Lea thought out loud as she took in her new surroundings. After a while, Lea soon felt a presence she had felt, yet not felt before, "Who's there?", she asked.
A voice responded, "Lea, my daughter! You've no idea how much I've missed you!".
Lea struggled to hold back her tears, "Dad! Is it really you? I can't believe it! I've missed you so much! But, how am I here?"
Battra hugged his daughter tightly, "You were poisoned by a monster that shot you with parasitic projectiles that are draining your energy. But you can beat this! My energy burns within you! I have been guarding it until the time was right for you to use it, and that time is now! Set it free, and you will not only be healed, but you will gain strength beyond any of our lineage!".
Lea's gaze hardened with determination, "I accept your gift father! I swear to use it to defend our home with all my power!", Lea shouted.
Back at the command center, Lea's body started to glow in a rainbow of light. Soon enough, a bright flash went off, and Lea was standing after it faded. However, her morpher seemed to fade out of existence, and rainbow colored butterfly-like wings materialized on her back. Next, armor started to from on her body, but left her face exposed. Everyone's mouths were wide open with awe at the radiant sight before them. So everyone,", Lea quipped, "What do you think of my new look? "
"It's absolutely gorgeous!", Rarity squealed.
Lea simply smiled, "Glad I could leave most of you speechless, but I've got some payback to dish out against that living slab of trash that tried to take me out! See you guys in a couple minutes!", Lea called out as she flew off towards Daghadorah.
Daghadorah was picking up where left off until a familiar voice called out, "Hi there ugly! Ya miss me?", Lea chirped pleasantly. Daghadorah had no idea how Lea had healed so fast, and he didn't care! All he knew was that he had to destroy her! He fired off a barrage of his parasitic starfish, hoping to again infect her. Unfortunately, Lea was too fast for him to get a lock on her. Lea then charged up a blast of energy with her hands, "I'm ending this fight now! PRISM RAY BLAST!",Lea cried as she unleashed a blast of rainbow colored energy at Daghadorah, causing him to explode!
Ghidorah scowled at the defeat of his latest minion, and barked an order to Belvera, "Fire that potion bomb! I was this close to victory! I will not be denied now!". Belvera then fired the bomb, and Daghadorah soon grew to gigantic size.
Lea only smiled in the face of the massive monstrosity, "Time for a test drive! Let's see what my shiny new megazord can do!". Lea's megazord materialized in a flash of light, strongly resembling Lea's new armor. As Daghadroah charged toward her, Lea countered with a kick so strong it launched him into the air. Lea then readied the megazord's main weapon, a blaster cannon pistol that promptly began charging. "Take this! Divine Seal Shot!", Lea shouted as she fired a rainbow colored blast that destroyed Daghadorah on impact.
Back at the command center, as the others celebrated Lea's victory, Mothra was giving off a proud smile, "My little Lele, you've grown so strong.", she quietly whispered as Lea was greeted by her friends.
Gamera was bored out of his skull. All he could do on Solgell Island was sit, fish, and wait until Junior and the others sent him word of their battles. While he was considered part of the team, Gamera lacked one crucial component that would let him fight alongside the rangers. A morpher. Laying on the sand, he sighed in lament of his sentence of semi-infinite boredom, "It's not like they need another new megazord. But I bet Junior, Anguirus, and Rodan's megazord could use a right arm. The tail becoming the left arm seems to put it off balance.". As Gamera was musing the possibility of becoming a ranger, Mothra was listening in on his thinking-out-loud. Knowing how helpful it was to have an extra ranger on-hand, Mothra smiled and materialized a power coin and morpher to send to the young guardian. A sudden flash of light turned Gamera's attention from his day-dreams to reality. In front of him lay a morpher and a power coin that seemed to resonate in his presence. Gamera's mouth broke into a full-blown grin as he inserted the coin into his new morpher, "Guess I'm needed. Better answer the call! IT'S MORPHIN' TIME!", Gamera cried as he morphed and teleported to Canterlot.
Meanwhile on King Ghidorah's ship, the would-be conqueror was striking a deal with a desperate alien monarch. "And if we defeat these "kaiju rangers", you will grant us a home on Earth?". The tyrant put on a fake air of sincerity, "You have my word Queen Legion. Once you beat the rangers, I will grant you a space for you and your people. Trust me.", Ghidorah said with a fake smile. Queen Legion knew something was wrong when she agreed to King Ghidorah's conditions, but she had no choice. Her people's world was destroyed, and Earth was the only planet that was close enough to make a journey where all her children would survive, "I...accept your offer King Ghidorah. I will defeat these rangers, but not for your sake! What I do, I do for my people.", Legion said with steel in her voice.
As she left, King Ghidorah chuckled darkly, "And now, I have made a queen my pawn."
At CHS, the rangers were enjoying their first quiet day in a long while. Until the received a message from Moll and Lora saying there was an enormous mass of alien bio-signs down town. "We don't know exactly how many there are, but they don't seem to be attacking. If anything, they seem to stop to let civilians evacuate.", the twins said in unison. Junior was puzzled. Aliens that weren't hostile? Maybe this was a trap, or maybe they were in some sort of trouble. Either way, he couldn't let this matter go without investigating it. "Alright guys, let's go see what our visitors want. ".
At the same time, Gamera was making good use of his ranger suit's rocket boots when he also detected the mass of alien bio-signs, "Weird, they aren't attacking. I guess I should see if I can help them find what they're looking for."
Queen Legion breathed a sigh of relief. No humans had been harmed, and her soldiers hadn't needed to make use of their weapons to drive away any of them. All that was left was to wait for the kaiju rangers, and hope that they would surrender peacefully. While Legion was willing to abide by the terms of King Ghidorah's deal, she would prefer it if things did not come to blows. Earth offered a new home and safe refuge form the monster that destroyed her and her people's planet. And she would prefer it if her new rule wasn't written in strife and pain. Soon enough, the rangers arrived on the scene. Queen Legion turned her attention to the rangers and addressed them, "Greetings kaiju rangers. I am Queen Legion."
Junior stepped forth, "Hello your highness. I'm the Godzilla ranger, leader of the team. Thank you for coming peacefully, but I must ask what brings you here? Is there something you need our help with? Please, don't hesitate to tell us."
Legion started to feel torn up inside. These noble warriors were willing to help them, but Ghidorah's terms were clear, "I'm sorry to say there is. We need you to surrender. I've made an agreement with an enemy of yours, King Ghidorah. But please understand, I take no joy in this task. Our home planet was destroyed by a space monster, and Earth was the closest planet that could sustain my people. It was then that I made contact with King Ghidorah. He made me a deal I couldn't refuse. He said if I defeated you, he would grant us a space on this world to live on. Please surrender now. I don't want anyone to get hurt."
Rodan's temper boiled forth at that point, "You actually trust that scumbag?! Do you honestly believe he'll keep his word?!"
Xenilla was next to protest, "Queen Legion, I can understand why you're doing this. But Rodan is right, Ghidorah is an honorless scoundrel! He will use any and all means to get what he wants, and will pay any cost to retrieve what he desires! We want to help you, but this world is our home! And we can't let King Ghidorah rule it! All would suffer under his rule!"
Queen Legion sadly shook her head, "I'm sorry about this too, please forgive me. Stand back my children! I won't put any of you at risk!", Legion yelled as she charged her lance with energy and launched a volley of lasers at the rangers. However, the lasers were stopped by a mysterious figure wielding a shield that looked like a giant turtle shell.
Gamera lowered his shield and turned to his friends, "Hey guys! Am I late to the party?"
Queen Legion was in awe, nothing could have stood up to a barrage of that scale. Shaking out of her wonder, she fired of one volley of lasers after another in the hope of Gamera's shield reaching the limit of it's endurance. Instead, Gamera's shield absorbed all of the blasts and released them as a single reflected shot right back at her!
As Legion was knocked to the ground from the blast, Ghidorah descended. "You have failed me fool. Perhaps I put too much faith in your desperation. Ah well, I'll simply finish what I started with your home planet. Farewell.", Ghidorah said with a cruel smile. Legion froze in shock. She had made a deal with the very same monster who laid her home to waste, and she cursed herself for trusting his word as she braced for the end.
But Gamera had other ideas, "Monster!", he cried as he leapt to Queen Legion's side, "You destroyed her world, and the used her to do your dirty work?! You're no king, Ghidorah! You're a coward!", Gamera cried as he blocked Ghidorah's blast and reflected it back to give the tyrant a taste of his own medicine.
Ghidorah scowled as he took note that the odds weren't in his favor, "Grrrrr...Next time Kaiju Rangers! I will see you destroyed!"
As King Ghidorah left, Queen Legion nervously stepped towards the rangers, "I'm so sorry. I can't believe how foolish I was! I feel so awful just because I even listened to his offer! I...".
Gamera put a hand on her shoulder, "You don't need to be sorry for anything. All you were doing was looking out for your people, your children. And you were willing to save them even if it meant risking your life. But there is a better way to find a home for yourselves on Earth. Try meeting with our leaders and explain your situation.".
Legion couldn't hold back the tears of joy falling down her face, "Thank You! Thank you so much! We all owe you a debt we can't repay!", she said as she and all her people bowed in respect.
"You owe us nothing your highness.", Lea said with a smile.
"After all,", Junior said with a chuckle, "friends don't have to owe each other anything. You know what means right?"
Queen Legion was puzzled, "We're friends?"
"Exactly!", Junior said with a grin.
"I've gotta throw a 'Happy Welcome to Earth New Alien Friends Party'", Pinkie said bouncing of the walls of the command center.
"Well Rarity,", teased Rainbow Dash, "looks like you'll get to meet royalty sooner than you thought!".
Sunset and Twilight couldn't contain their excitement, "I can't believe we get to meet people from a whole other planet!", Twilight almost screamed.
"You mean ones that are friendly for a change?", Sunset said jokingly. They all laughed as they thought fondly of their new friends from across the stars.
Chapter 11: X Marks the Spot Part 1: Fall of the Kaizer
A small meteor streaked across the night sky in Canterlot. Once it landed on the outskirts of the city, it was blasted apart by a force from within. As the dust cleared, a figure emerged from the crater. Though he looked human, he was not of this world. 'Where am I?', was the thought on the mysterious figure's mind. He knew his physical appearance, black skin, white hair, and red eyes. By the look of his garments, he knew he was a soldier. But the most crucial information was absent, his memories. 'Why can't I seem to recall any part of my past? Where is my home? What is my race? What is my name? Name..name...wait...', the figure was snapped out of his thought as something seemed to come back to him, a memory from long ago. In this window to his past, he saw a woman with pale blue skin, and white hair who seemed to be calling him, "X". 'X...that's my name. X.', X now had one piece of the puzzle, but the rest was still a mystery. Hearing the sound of people heading his way, X thought it best to make himself scarce. Once he found shelter, he took a careful look at his choice of clothing. "Hmm, better find a change of clothes soon. I stick-out like a sore thumb.", X then turned his attention to the scarf he was wearing. For some reason, he felt a sort of attachment to it, "This on the other hand, I'm definitely holding onto.", X said as he let sleep overtake him. When morning came, he would find a new outfit.
School had just let out for the day. Anguirus was walking with Rarity as she made her way to her job, "Need any help with heavy lifting? I'm free this afternoon and have nothing better to do.", Anguirus offered. He and Rarity had become an item, so he felt it was only fair that he should help her out from time to time.
Rarity smiled at him, "I gladly accept your offer darling! Sometimes I can't believe I got so lucky to have you as my boyfriend.". Anguirus blushed at the compliment. He could easily handle aliens, mutants, and monsters, but girls were a whole other category.
Xenilla noticed the two walking by and decided to catch up with them, "Hey you two! Mind if I join with you?"
Rarity was a bit puzzled at why Xenilla was interested, "Of course not Xenilla! But may I ask why you're interested?"
"Sunset told me you've been able to integrate gems into your designs. I may be able to form and control crystals, but not even I've been able to add them to any garments without looking out of place. Also, some of my crystals might just inspire your next big hit! So what do you say?"
Rarity could barely contain her excitement, "Pick up the pace gentlemen! We've got a boutique to open!!". Anguirus and Xenilla almost had to floor it to catch up to the driven designer. After they arrived at Carousel Boutique, Anguirus took care of moving the heavy boxes while Rarity took inventory. As soon as that was finished, Xenilla took the opportunity to show his mastery of crystals to his friends. All the while though, Rarity was burning through her design sketchbook. The day seemed to be going slow, until a lone customer came through the doors.
Rarity was about to greet him when, "Welcome to Carousel Bou...gasp!". X didn't know why this girl was gasping until she got close to him and started to examine his beat up clothes. "Oh this is simply dreadful darling! You look like you've been through quite a fight! Fortunately, that lovely scarf seems to be undamaged.".
X mentally face-palmed for missing the obvious, "Thank you for the compliment. In fact, my current predicament is what brought me here. The problem being this is the only outfit I own. You sell clothes here, yes?".
Rarity's face steeled with determination, "Darling, I've just made it my mission to create the best outfit possible for you! You needn't worry about a thing Mr.?"
"X."
Rarity was scooping up garments left and right in order to help X assemble the perfect outfit. After testing out different styles, Rarity and X seemed to arrive at a winning outfit. "X, you look positively dashing", Rarity said. X's new outfit consisted of black jeans, black boots with white shins, a white shirt, and a black coat. X's pleased smile faded when he came to an unpleasant realization, he had no money to purchase his new duds! Rarity seemed to take note of X's shock, "Don't worry darling! You look as though you're low on cash. This one's on the house!".
X smiled, "Thank you Ms. Rarity, most generous of you.", X said as he left.
Meanwhile on King Ghidorah's ship, the galactic tyrant was assigning his newest minion their first mission. "You'd best not fail me!"
"Affirmative. This unit will carry out mission objectives with extreme prejudice."
"Good. Now let's see if a machine can do a monster's job! Go Mechagodzilla! Destroy the Kaiju Rangers!". And soon, the mechanical menace made his way to Earth .
Back at the command center, Sunset noticed Mechagodzilla on the grid and alerted the rangers to his presence. "Rangers, this is Sunset! We've got incoming towards Canterlot! Looks like a silver mini version of the Godzilla zord!". The rangers then morphed and headed to the robot's location, and arrived just as it was making its' attack on the city. "Yo chrome dome!", Rodan yelled, "Don't you have an oil bath to take or microchips to eat?"
"I don't know Rodan. He looks like more of a nuts and bolts diet kind of mech.", Gamera joked. Mechagodzilla only turned towards his opponents and scanned how many there were. "Beginning replication of unit. Odds: favorable.". Soon there were seven robots instead of one, and each proved deadly as they engaged the rangers.
X had noticed the battle and was watching behind cover, 'That honorless piece of scrap metal! I think I should help even the odds', X thought as his hands crackled with golden gravity energy. Mechagodzilla smiled coldly as he was certain nothing would derail his mission, until his six duplicates were shot with golden blasts of energy that seemed to pick them up and wreck them. X then made his presence known by taking the robot by surprise and knocking its' head off.
Mechagodzilla knew that the odds weren't in his favor, "Error! I require a potion bomb to increase the chance of victory!". Ghidorah lauched a potion bomb to repair and enlarge Mechagodzilla. Godzilla, Anguirus, Rodan, and Gamera formed their megazord, with Gamera forming the new left arm with his zord's shell becoming a shield. Mechagodzilla fired his lasers and missles at the megazord, only for the shield to block the deadly barrage and causing him to waste all his ammo.
Junior then called down the power sword, "Time to send you to the scrap heap!", he cried as he slashed Mechagodzilla in half, causing him to explode.
After the battle, Anguirus noticed that the guy who had just saved him and his friends was the same one at the shop earlier, 'I hope this means he's on our side.', Anguirus thought.
Unfortunately, King Ghidorah also took note of X and also seemed to recognize him. 'It can't be! This warrior is the same that nearly ended me all those years ago! I'll never forget it! He turned into "Kaizer", some imitation of my true form! And he nearly destroyed me with that power! But when he transformed it was like fighting an entirely different being! Thankfully he seems to have no memory. But even if I can convince him to join me, I must be cautious. For if the Kaizer awakens again, no place in the universe will be safe for me!' "Belvera! See if you can find this 'X', I believe I've just found my latest warrior to destroy the rangers.".
X was walking in the woods, thinking about how to regain his memories.
"Are you X?", a woman's voice called out.
"Who wants to know?", X asked.
"My name is Belvera. My master King Ghidorah wishes to help you with your case of memory lose. Please come with me, he is quite anxious to meet you."
X was unsure for a moment, until a voice in his head spoke up. "Ghidorah knows something about us X! Let's see what we can find out!", the dark voice said. X didn't know where the voice came from, but knew that he had to take any chance he could get to find out about his past, "Very well then. I'll see what he wants.". As he was teleported to Ghidorah's ship, X was soon face-to-face with the would-be tyrant.
"Greetings X. I have heard of your plight, and wish to aid you. I just have one favor to ask in return."
"Name your terms.", X said flatly.
Ghidorah smiled evilly, "Those warriors you aided today are known as the Kaiju Rangers. They have been a constant nuisance in my plans for this planet. Destroy them, and I shall revive your memories."
X knew something was wrong about this, but felt there was no better option, "As you wish."
The next day, the rangers all had one thing on their minds as school seemed to drag on. Whoever their mysterious savior was, he certainly didn't pull any punches. Not only had he taken out Mechagodzilla in under a minute, but he was also able to take out all of Mechagodzilla's duplicates like they were a pile of tin cans! Xenilla seemed the most puzzled about the whole situation. He knew that X wasn't human, but he didn't know where he came from or even why. He would soon get his answers when his communicator went off, "Moll, Lora what's up?"
"Xenilla! We've picked up a strong alien bio-sign in the down town area! It's already attacking!"
"The other rangers and I are on our way!"
X was taking care not to accidentally hurt any of the people in his path. He was only there to fight the kaiju rangers, so there was no reason to get any civilians caught in the crossfire. X sighed after all the people had fled the area. The rangers seemed to be the protectors of this planet, so what would happen to this world should Ghidorah claim dominion? Though he wasn't on Earth for very long, X felt a sense of peace on this world. But orders were orders, and X had memories to reclaim. It was then that the dark voice in his mind spoke again, 'Show them no mercy! Ghidorah knows something about us, and only promised to tell us if we destroy the kaiju rangers! None shall stand in our way!". X clutched his head, knowing these thoughts weren't his own.
Soon the rangers arrived, and Xenilla was the first to address X, "Hey X. Didn't expect to see you this soon.", Xenilla said as he powered down.
X was shocked, "I remember you from the shop! You're one of the kaiju rangers?", "Yes I am. Now I have a question for you. Why are you attacking?".
X slightly grimaced as he answered, "I am here to draw you out. King Ghidorah made a deal with me. I have no memories of my past, and Ghidorah promised he would restore my memories if I destroyed you. I'm sorry, but I promise to defend this word after you're gone.".
Xenilla was saddened by X's answer, "I'm sorry X, but we aren't going down easy!", Xenilla said as he morphed again.
"I'm sorry too...", X said as he charged forth.
The fight, if it could be called that, seemed to be in X's favor early on. Rodan and Mothra tried a series of dive bomb runs, but X seemed to get them surprise when he used his powers to levitate to their level and blast them back down to the ground. Anguirus, Gamera, and Destoroyah tried to rush him, but were blown back by the force of X's gravity blasts. The other ranger's damage had caused them to power down into their civilian forms, leaving only Xenilla and Junior left in their ranger forms. The two brothers charged at X, their swords and blasters ready to strike. For a moment they seemed to have X on the defensive with a barrage of blaster fire and close swipes with their blades. That was until X surprised them with punch in Junior's gut and kick Xen's face, the resulting damage causing them to power down.
Pleased with the sight of the rangers defenseless, King Ghidorah warped down to X's location, "Excellent work X! Now, destroy them!"
"No,", X said, "Surely there must be a better way than destroying them!"
Ghidorah was annoyed, "Noble and merciful to a fault, just like your precious Eleyon. Out of my way! I shall finish this myself!"
In X's mind, something clicked into place. He remembered his home, his wife, Eleyon. And he also remembered seeing her body, with Ghidorah looming over her. This gave the dark voice in X's head the opportunity to take over, 'He killed her! Your wife X! Eleyon is dead because of this scum! Let me in X, and I shall carry out vengeance for us!". X tried to fight the voice's influence, but they lure of avenging his beloved's death had clouded his mind. In a flash of gold and black light, black and gold armor seemed to form over X. Demon-like wings that matched the armor's color scheme popped materialized on X's back. And instead of X's crimson eyes, the eyes staring through the helmet were blood red. And they turned their furious gaze toward King Ghidorah.
As Ghidorah was about to charge his attack, he was hit in the back by a powerful blast of energy, knowing who might've been the source, "You dare to attack me X?!", Ghidorah was about to continue until he noticed the ominous figure in X's place. This caused the space monster to feel a sensation he knew only once before, fear, "Y..You..".
The figure in X's place answered in kind, "X is gone. I. AM. KAIZER! AND YOU SHALL PAY WITH YOUR LIFE FOR THE DEATH OF MY BELOVED, AND THE DESTRUCTION OF MY HOME!". Kaizer released a war cry full of bloodlust and fury as he began his assault on Ghidorah. He was like a berserker once he landed his first hit! Kaizer mercilessly fired volley after volley of energy blast, keeping Ghidorah grounded. He then continued the punishment with a barrage of punches and kicks so rapid Ghidorah barely had any air left in him. As Kaizer stood over the beaten and battered monster, a small chuckle escaped Ghidorah's throat. Kaizer sneered behind his helmet, "Facing the end by laughing at it are you?"
"No, I'm laughing because I didn't kill your beloved. You did", Ghidorah said with a cruel smile.
"LIES!", Kaizer screamed as he brought his fist against Ghidorah's face. But deep within the dark persona's mind, X knew that this terrible truth was all too right. Ghidorah's revelation brought a sea of memories flooding into X's mind.
Back in the outside world, Ghidorah had decided he'd had enough punishment and teleported back to his ship. Kaizer screamed in rage! He had been denied his revenge, and then he turned his gaze to the defeated rangers. Kaizer had found his means of venting his anger. Seeing the rangers beaten, Sunset and her friends teleported to their location from the command center to help them. Kaizer only smirked at the sight of them, seeing only more targets to project his fury on. X would not let that happen! Summoning all his will, he broke free of the chains Kaizer had bound him with to his own mind. 'No! I won't let you destroy them! I lost Eleyon because I let you take over! Because I lost myself to my own rage! And now she's gone forever! I won't let you ruin anyone else's life!'. Kaizer howled in pain as he lost control, 'NO! You need my power X! YOU'RE NOTHING WITHOUT ME X! YOU HEAR ME? NOTHI...', Kaizers voice was soon drowned out as X regained control.
Sunset tried to approach him, "X...please. Let us.."
"No!", X cried, "Please Ms. Shimmer. It isn't safe to be near me. Everyone please! JUST STAY AWAY FROM ME!"
As X flew off, he could still hear Kaizer's voice gnawing at the back of his head, 'Terrible things X. We've done terrible thing...'. X soon landed in the forest, and began to weep after learning this sudden and horrible truth. "Eleyon.", X managed to speak as tears feel uncontrollably down his face, "Please, forgive me. "
Chapter 12: X Marks the Spot Part 2: Rise of the Paladin
It had only been one day since the rangers' fateful encounter with X and his dark persona, Kaizer. Sunset remembered seeing Junior and the others completely defeated, but the scariest part was that they were beaten that badly while X was still in control. If Kaizer had taken over X any sooner, things could have been worse. Fortunately, X had managed to regain control before things got really bad. "Trying to wield a power that you can't understand or control...I know how that feels.", Sunset said as she recalled her past experience with being unable to control a power that ended up controlling her. And she also remembered that her friends were willing to forgive her, and gave her another chance. She just hoped that someone would do the same for X.
Back in the forest, X was racked with guilt and grief. He had let Kaizer use his body like a puppet, and lost all self-control. What made things worse is that this was not the first incident. X now remembered everything, including the painful memory of when he first went berserk. It was a normal day on the Xilian homeworld, and everything seemed to be fine. Until HE descended from the skies. When King Ghidorah had decided to lay waste to his world, his home. X engaged this invader from beyond the stars with a powerful kick to the side and only spoke four words full of threat and promise, "Get off my planet.". Ghidorah only smirked before firing brevity beams at X, knocking him back into a building and damaging his armor. What X didn't know was that his kick managed to shed some blood from this strange enemy. Scientists had managed to collect a sample, and upon their analysis found it was compatible with X. Not only was it compatible, but it could be used to greatly enhance his strength. X woke up in a hospital, his wife Eleyon smiling down on him.
"You sure had a rough night.", Eleyon joked with him.
X only smiled and said, "It only hurts when I smile". The two were enjoying each other's company until the Controller came into the room.
"Hello X. How's our favorite soldier doing?", she asked.
"Bruised and battered, but never broken. So to what do we owe the pleasure of your visit?", X asked.
"Our scientist have analyzed the blood of that monster that attacked us. They've found that it's compatible with your body. And it can potentially increase strength by a tremendous amount. I have it with me, and can inject it. So what do you say? Ready to give that invader a rematch?"
X's gaze hardened with determination, "You bet I want a chance to pay that thing back.". The process was quick, but X had a series of small headaches afterwards. He simply dismissed them as after-effects of his head hitting that building yesterday. He was dead wrong, as a dark presence slowly creeped into his mind. Not a moment later, warning sirens were blaring off the hook. Ghidorah had come back to finish what he started. X was ready, but he wouldn't be facing Ghidorah alone. Eleyon was headed into battle with him, armor and all. As they made their way to Ghidorah, X felt a voice go off in his head, 'Yes, go all out against your enemy. Spare him no mercy!'. X shook his head, hoping he was just hearing things. When they arrived, Ghidorah had a look of annoyance on his face. The same bug that had defied him the day before was back for round 2. Ghidorah admired X's determination and shifted into his true form, a dragon-like figure with armor that seemed to have two other heads on the shoulders. X and Eleyon began their attack by rushing him, but were pushed back by a barrage of gravity beams. X shielded most of the shots, but was knocked back. King Ghidorah took note of Eleyon trying to get up and began to advance on her. X was on his feet with a look of horror on his face. This monster intended to kill his beloved, the person closest to his heart. He would not let that happen! No matter the cost, he would save Eleyon. Then the voice spoke again, 'You wish to save her? I can give you the power to do so. Just let me in X. LET. ME. IN.', it echoed. X could no longer hold it back, and let his rage storm forth. A flash of black and gold light appeared, and a new figure stood in X's place. Clad in that demonic black and gold armor. Kaizer flew full force into Ghidorah, knocking him off his feet.
Ghidorah was angry now, "You dare strike me?! King Ghidorah?! I have the strength to make the universe itself tremble!".
Kaizer let out a dark cackle of laughter, "If you are 'king', then I shall call myself Kaizer. I dare to strike, and I will be the one to destroy you!", Kaizer said with an evil grin. Kaizer began an assault on King Ghidorah, striking with the full force and fury of a berserker. Every blow Kaizer landed seemed to inflict a heavy toll on Ghidorah. The would-be destroyer was now beaten, bloodied, and scarred from a strong claw swipe from Kaizer just below his neck. For the first time in his life, King Ghidorah was actually afraid. Eleyon was now back on her feet, and was horrified at what had become of X. In the place of her husband was a monster, one with no remorse or mercy. A creature filled with bloodlust and fury that would not stop until it's enemy was dead! Eleyon couldn't let this happen to X, and intercepted a claw swipe that would have left a gash in Ghidorah.
Ghidorah briefly loomed over Eleyon's body and turned his gaze to Kaizer with a wicked smile on his face, "How does it feel to hurt the one you love?", Ghidorah spat out as he retreated.
X's consciousness returned at that moment, and saw Eleyon's blood on his hands and asked Kaizer, 'What happened to Eleyon?! Is she alive?! Is she safe?!".
Kaizer answered with an evil smile, "I'm afraid that while in our rage, we killed her. Oh well, she was only holding us back anyway."
"No...no...I couldn't have! NOOOO!", X screamed. She was gone, and it was all his fault. "Get out of my mind! I never want to so your cursed face again!", X screamed as he began to fight back to reclaim his body, defeating the Kaizer. The shock and mental strain from the tragic moment caused X to repress the memories of that day. And now, the exact same thing would have happened here too. As X was sulking, a new presence was felt in his mind. Unlike Kaizer, this one felt warm. It felt familiar. It felt like, "Eleyon?!", X asked.
Eleyon fully materialized, she still looked as beautiful as the first time X laid eyes on her. "Hello X, I've missed you so much.",
"But how?! How could you miss me?! It's my fault I lost you! You died because I lost control of my power! I...", X wanted to continue, but was stopped by Eleyon's embrace.
"It's alright X. No matter what, I'll always love you. Never forget that. You weren't yourself when Kaizer took over, I don't blame you for anything that was done. Not even my passing.", Eleyon said with a warm smile.
X could barely get any words out with tears of joy flowing freely, "Please forgive me.", X sobbed.
Eleyon smiled, "I already have X. And always remember this: Your power doesn't control you, you control it. You decide how to use it, nobody else. I love you X."
X smiled sadly, "I love you too. Goodbye, Eleyon.", X said as Eleyon faded away. It wasn't long before Kaizer showed up.
"What was SHE doing here?! You only need me X! Only I can give you the power you need!", Kaizer screamed. X only faced Kaizer, and materialized a sword and impaled the twisted dark persona. Kaizer begged for his life, "Please X, don't do this to me! We're the same you and I! I'm a part of you! You need me!".
"You're right, you are a part of me. A part I no longer need.", X said, "I control this power, it doesn't control me! NOW BEGONE!". And just like that, Kaizer faded into nothing.
Back in the real world, King Ghidorah was busy recovering from the injuries Kaizer had inflicted on him. Ghidorah couldn't believe this was the second time he'd come to experience fear, it enraged him to no end! He had Belvera rebuild Mechagodzilla, but the reconstructed mech looked like it was hastily built. "I suppose this is the best you could come up with. Fine, just send him to attack the city! I'll soon recover and fight the rangers myself! The robot should keep them occupied long enough.", Ghidorah said while scowling all the while.
The rangers had fully recovered, but wouldn't have time to rest as Mechagodzilla began his attack. When they arrived, Junior noticed this new robot looked a bit shoddy. "Is it me? Or did they have a low repair budget?", Junior asked noticing how cheap this robot looked. Mechagodzilla only responded with a flamethrower blast from his nose. He then fired a round of finger missiles, but the force from the launch caused the old replacement arms to fall off. Mechagodzilla then tried to take off, but the jets in his feet sputtered out. In desperation, Mechagodzilla tried to fire his eye lasers, but they ended up shorting out and breaking the lenses that protected his eyes' circuitry. Then he literally lost his head. "Talk about falling to pieces.", Junior deadpanned.
Back on his ship, Ghidorah face palmed. His new robot literally fell apart on the job. "That's it! I don't care if I'm fully recovered or not. I'm going to fight the rangers, and I don't care if I win. I need to vent my frustrations.", Ghidorah said while frowning.
In the forest, X sensed Ghidorah was coming back to Earth. Now was the perfect time to test out his new power. He arrived just in time as Ghidorah landed. X then cleared his mind, and a silver light enveloped his body. X soon emerged as the light faded, clad in new armor. The armor on his chest was white on the upper half, but had black scale-like armor going to his waist. His leg armor was largely white, with patches of black on the sides and his knees. The armor on his arms was mostly black with white gauntlets on the lower parts, and white outer armor on the upper parts. Gold pauldrons were on each of his armor's shoulders. X's helmet was black with a blue visor and white outer armor that seemed to form a sort of mask, and two black horns in a single row pointing forward. But most noticeable, were the pair of majestic wings that had sprouted out of his back. X decided to make his presence known, "Ghidorah!", X yelled.
As King Ghidorah turned to face him, he only had look of shock on his face. 'How?! How could he have possibly mastered that power?! It shouldn't be possible for him to have any control over it!', "So what's with the fancy new outfit? You trying to fight me with fashion? What are you calling yourself this time? 'Holy Kaizer'", Ghidorah answered with a snort to hide his fear.
"Sorry to disappoint you, but I kicked Kaizer out. I'm the only one in my head now. Now I control the power your blood gave me, it doesn't control me. Prepare to face justice!", X cried as he and Ghidorah charged at each other. The sky was then lit up with gravity blasts as the two warriors duked it out in the air. Soon enough, X landed a hit that clipped Ghidorah's wing. The fight the shifted to a mix of blasts and physical blows. Ghidorah took a swing at X, but X crouched and knocked him down with a sweep kick. Ghidorah then lunged at X, but was instead caught by an uppercut. X then launched Ghidorah into the air with a powerful kick, leaped into the air and knocked him back down to earth with a blow to his head.
Ghidorah slowly crawled out of the crater that formed from his impact, "This...proves...nothing!", Ghidorah said painfully. X walked up to the beaten tyrant, and Ghidorah assumed only one thing. "Go on...finish it!", Ghidorah spat weakly.
"I said prepare to face justice, not death.", X said, "I've defeated you in battle, and avenged my home planet. I'm done.". Ghidorah was dumbfounded, X really had conquered this power! "This is the part where you run away.", X said flatly. King Ghidorah wasted no time in warping back to his ship.
Junior was the first to speak, "Sooo... care to explain what's up with the new duds?".
X smiled and answered, "This is my paladin armor. I earned it after I overcame Kaizer, and gained full control of the great power within me. I would join you all, but you all seem to be handling things just fine on your own. But know that if you ever need me, I'll be there. I'm just one teleport away. Goodbye my friends! We'll meet again someday!", X cried out as he flew away.
Back at the command center, Sunset and her friends were in awe over X's new form. "Did you see how cool X looked? And how awesome he was when kicking Ghidorah's tail?", Rainbow shouted.
"His new armor just screams elegant and fierce! And those wings were positively awe-inspiring!", Rarity beamed.
"X did get another chance after all.", Sunset said smile.
Chapter 13: Awaken your power Junior! Emergence of Super Mode!
After the seemingly endless defeats, Ghidorah took in the sight of his nearly empty space ship. Where his warriors once stood were empty spaces, due to their defeat at the hands of the kaiju rangers. But out of all the rangers, he hated Junior the most. Every time he had sent one of his minions, Junior was right there to lead the charge to oppose them! It seemed that such a small group of fighters could destroy his best minions! And then it occurred to him, that he should not have relied on minions in the first place! "If you want something done right, do it yourself!", Ghidorah said with a wicked grin as he made his way to Earth.
Back on Earth, the rangers and the main 6 seemed to be having normal day. "Nothing could possibly go wrong now!", Rodan boasted.
"You sure ya ain't gonna jinx us by saying that?", Applejack asked.
Rodan laughed it off, "Come on AJ! That kind of stuff only happens on TV!". He was having a laugh about it until his communicator went off.
"You sure about that?", Applejack said with a smirk.
Rodan grumbled and answered, "Yo! Moll, Lora! What's the emergency?"
"King Ghidorah just landed, and is currently wreaking havoc!", the twins shouted.
"So he's come to try and finish this once and for all huh? Well, better get the others!", Rodan said as he hung up and turned to Applejack, "Gotta run AJ! Ghidorah just showed and he's trashin' the city! BRB!".
"Hey!", Applejack called out, "Come back in one piece! You hear me Ro'?".
Rodan walked up to her, and caught her by surprise with a kiss right on her lips, "I've got better things to do today than die.", Rodan said with a wink. He then left to get the other rangers, and tell them about the situation.
Meanwhile downtown, King Ghidorah was going on a rampage! He reveled in the glorious destruction he left in his wake, taking it in as he continued his attack. The rangers teleported just in time to confront him. "Ghidorah! We end this today! Now that you've got nobody to hide behind, it's just you and us!".
Ghidorah smiled darkly, "For too long I have suffered humiliation at your hands! Come! Let this be our final battle!", he cried as he charged toward the rangers.
Rodan took to the air and fired a barrage of heat beams from his wrist launchers, and made a dive-bomb run at Ghidorah with his twin swords, while Anguirus fired his sonic cannon and tried to get in close hits with his gauntlets. Ghidorah raised a wing to block the blasts, and flapped it to create a mini tornado to blow back Rodan and Anguirus. Ghidorah then prepared to let loose a storm of gravity bolts, but Gamera blocked them with his shield. The three rangers then took Ghidorah by surprise when Anguirus leaped into the air, and delivered a strong kick to his face! Rodan then followed with a series of punches to Ghidorah's stomach, while Gamera finished the trinity with a shield bash! Ghidorah then unleashed a hail of gravity blasts, and the resulting damage forced the three rangers to power down. Now that Ghidorah had been weakened, Destoroyah made her assault. It started with a series of shots from her micro-oxygen blaster to keep Ghidorah occupied just long enough for her to get close. When she was at just the right distance, she used her wings to take flight and with a sweep of her energy horn katana sliced off one of Ghidorah's wings off.
The space dragon growled, "You clip mine, I CLIP YOURS!", he roared as the two heads that were on his shoulder plates flared to life and bit into the wings of Destoroyah's suit!
Even though the wings weren't badly damaged, Ghidorah sent Destoroyah falling to the ground with a tremendous gravity bolt. The dust cleared from the impact crater to reveal a powered down Destoroyah. Only Lea, Xenilla, and Junior were left in their ranger form. To even the odds, Lea activated her giga mode and unleashed a swarm of energy blasts at Ghidorah. While the blasts did some damage, Ghidorah was more enraged than in pain. He shot a concentrated ball of gravity energy at Lea, and she fell unconscious from the force of the blast. Junior and Xenilla summoned their swords and charged at King Ghidorah, each of them landing a critical strike with near relentless consistency. But soon enough, Ghidorah tripped them up and was able to knock out Xenilla. Now the only one left in ranger form was Junior, and it was pretty clear he wouldn't let himself fall without giving it his all!
Ghidorah gave a mock-sincere smile, "You've spirit for one so weak. I must honestly applaud you for even surviving this far. Not many have survived this long like you and your friends. Just give up, and I may let you and your friends live. Why throw away your life so recklessly?".
"You're not in that much better shape yourself. I won't surrender to cowards like of you. Those who live without honor, face an end without honor. I'm not gonna quit! Not while I'm still here! Only one of us is leaving in one piece! ONE SHALL STAND, ONE SHALL FALL!", Junior roared in defiance as he charged forward against King Ghidorah.
Back at the command center, Sunset and her friends saw how grim the battle was looking. "We have to help them! Come on girls, if there's anytime to use our magic it's now! Mothra, teleport us to the rangers", Sunset cried out.
When they arrived, the girls readied their magic to fire at Ghidorah while he was still grappling with Junior. Unfortunately, Ghidorah noticed them out of the corner of his eye. As the girls were ready to fire, Ghidorah smiled evily and threw Junior into the blast as it went off!
Sunset's eyes widened with horror, "Oh no! Cut off the magic! Junior was thrown into the blast!", she cried as the magic died down. As the dust cleared, there was Junior, but he was just standing there like a lifeless doll. Ghidorah cackled with delight. Finally his most troublesome foe was vanquished, and by his own friends no less! Tears were rolling down each of the girls' faces when they saw Junior's condition.
Sunset tried speaking to Junior, hoping he was still alive, "Please Junior. If you're still there, do something! Anything! Please!", she cried as she held tightly onto Junior.
Then, cracks started to form in Junior's armor suit. Two large yellow spikes formed on the shoulders, and light green gauntlet structures with blue orbs on the back of the palms formed on his lower arms. Light green exo-armor sprouted on his upper legs. And in a flash of light, Junior's old ranger suit was gone, replaced with a new armor that seemed to radiate power. One horn flanked by two smaller ones all pointing backward were on the helmet, which now had a yellow visor instead of a black one. Junior's chest armor was now yellow, with a blue core at the center of it. Sunset couldn't believe her eyes! Their magic hadn't destroyed him at all! In fact, it may have even given Junior this new form. "Thank you Sunset. I wouldn't have woken up if you hadn't spoken to me.", Junior said smiling under his helmet.
"So how did you get this new ranger form? And are you okay?", Sunset asked trying to stifle her sobs.
"When you guys hit me with that magic, it didn't hurt me at all. It seemed to heal me, and make me even stronger! As for how I'm feeling, I'm feeling pretty super right about now!", Junior boldly said, "Now time to end this Ghidorah!"
Ghidorah was frozen in fear! Instead of destroying Junior, that energy had only made him stronger! Blast! Junior then readied his newest attack, "It's over Ghidorah! Ultimate Atomic Blast!", he cried as he shot a blue beam of energy that hit Ghidorah dead on! Ghidorah knew he would not survive another blast like that, and immediately retreated back to his ship. As the rest of the rangers got to their feet, they were all in awe at Junior's new form.
"Nice new duds man!", Rodan cheered.
Junior only powered down, smiled, and fell on the ground asleep. It had been a long day, and a nice nap seemed WAY overdue.
"Awww, he looks so cute like that!", Lea chirped.
Sunset smiled, and planted a kiss on Junior's forehead, "Sleep well Goji."
Pinkie the mentioned something about "shipping", while Rarity and Applejack were hugging Anguirus and Rodan respectively. Twilight and Fluttershy helped Lea to her feet, while Rainbow Dash helped Gamera out of the imprint he left in a wall. The day was hard, but it had a happy ending.
It was the weekend, and Junior had nothing better to do than kill some time at the arcade. He'd invited Anguirus and Rodan so they could have an all-out battle on some of the fighting games. However, they were busy with their girlfriends Rarity and Applejack. It looked like he would be going it alone. As soon as he entered the arcade, Junior's eyes immediately went to one of his favorites: Super Street Fighter II.
'Can't go wrong with an arcade classic!', Junior thought as he went towards the machine. As he got close, he noticed that the machine was already in use. Sunset was already at the machine and playing as Chun Li. 'Wow she's good! Hope she doesn't mind if I join in.', Junior thought. Junior put his coins in the machine. "Here comes a new challenger!", the machine blared. Junior selected his favorite character, Ryu, and the fight was on! Sunset noticed him after he chose his fighter and smiled.
'This oughta' be fun!', Sunset thought.
Sunset started off with a spinning bird kick, but Junior countered with a shoryuken! Junior followed up with a hadoken and a quick combo. Sunset fired off a kikoken, but Junior jumped over it and pulled off a hurricane kick! Junior ended the match with a shinku hadoken, and Round 1 was his. Round 2 began, and the two players didn't pull any punches. Each landed hits of combos on the other until both of their life bars were almost empty. One hit would decide it all. Sunset tried to finish it with a spinning bird kick, but Junior used a hurricane kick knocking both of them out.
"Well, we both lost that one. You landed your hit first, so name your prize.", Junior said.
"Lea says you sing pretty well. You owe me one song.", Sunset said with a smirk.
'Lea really had to say that.', Junior thought as he prepared to sing the one song he knew almost every girl liked.

"That was so beautiful.", Sunset said in awe.
"You were quite the lovely audience your self!", Junior said, "And for my prize, how about a date tonight? Say, at the movies?"
"It's a date!", Sunset said. Before she left, she kissed Junior on the lips.
"Best. Saturday. Ever.", Junior said with a slight blush on his cheeks.
Xenilla was enjoying a comic in the park. However, his quiet day was interrupted by a basketball sent flying his way. Fortunately, he caught it before it could make impact. "Sorry about that!", a girl with cream-colored skin and red hair said.
Xenilla let out a chuckle, "No need to worry, no harm done. Here's your ball back Ms.?"
"Blade Dancer.", the girl answered, "Didn't get your name by the way."
"Xenilla. Nice to meet you.", Xenilla said.
"Well Xeni,", Blade Dancer said slyly, "you free tonight?"
Xenilla blushed! He'd never seen any girl be this direct before! "Uh...y-yeah, I am.", Xenilla said nervously.
"Great! Meet me at the movies tonight! See ya then!", Blade Dancer said with a smile.
Xenilla was pretty much speechless. 'Well, I guess I got girlfriend now.', he thought to himself.
Later that night, Junior and Xenilla showed up at the movies with their dates in two. "Well, looks like you two have lost your bachelor status!", Rodan joked when he arrived with Applejack.
"That goes for us too buddy.", Anguirus said when he showed up with Rarity, "So, what are we watching tonight?"
"Star Wars 7:The Force Awakens!", Junior said proudly.
The four rangers and their dates all seemed pleased with the choice, and went in. Once they were in their seats, the rangers looked to their dates and smiled. 'Best night ever!', was the sole thought on their minds. Meanwhile, Gamera and Destoroyah were babysitting the Cutie Mark Crusaders. There was no trouble since Gamera had quite the way with kids, and the fact the crusaders had taken a liking to Destoroyah. Lea, Twilight, Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash were having a sleepover. Twilight kept asking about all the technology the rangers used, while Rainbow kept begging Lea to show off her giga mode. All while Lea was giving Fluttershy a makeover.
Meanwhile, Pinkie Pie seemed to be writing in journal titled "Couples I Ship".
Biollante could scarcely believe she was still alive. After that brutal fight with King Ghidorah, she should have been in the after life right now. She was thankful that she was able to separate her core from her body before Ghidorah unleashed a flurry of gravity blasts at her. But separating her core also had some side-effects, namely that her new body was younger and in her teen years by appearance. The swirling thoughts in her head were interrupted by a sudden growl from her stomach.
'Uh-oh! I can't believe I forgot that my younger body still needed food!', the former mentor to the mutants in her charge. She was so focused on where to get food, she didn't pay attention to the person walking in her direction. A collision course was imminent.
"Ow! Oh, sorry that I didn't see you. Are you hurt?", Biollante got a good look at the boy she ran into. He was tall with blonde hair, and his outfit consisted of sneakers, jeans, and red shirt that seemed to have a cowboy style to it.
"Nnnope.", Big Mac said before he was able to see Biollante. He'd never seen a girl this pretty! He managed a nervous smile, "Name's Big Mac. Nice ta meet'cha Miss?"
"Biollante.", Biollante said with a small smile. Pretty soon her stomach growled again. Big Mac took notice, and pulled an apple from his bag.
"Here ya go. By the way, do you have a place to stay? You seem to be new in town. You and yer' pup right there.", Big Mac said.
Biollante looked down, and noticed a plant-like puppy at her feet, "We graciously accept your offer. And her name's Rose by the way.". The puppy must have been another part of her consciousness, because it wagged its' tail happily as she spoke.
Big Mac smiled, "Eeeyup. Don't worry about mah family, they're pretty welcoming."
As the two headed toward Big Mac's home, Biollante felt two familiar energies. She recognized them, and smiled. Destoroyah and Xenilla both seemed to have survived, and she sensed her other nephew as well. 'Maybe I'll get a chance to see them all.', she thought to herself.
Meanwhile on King Ghidorah's ship, Belvera proposed a new monster to her master. "I have here a cell culture of Biollante, and have been successful in creating a clone of her to suit our needs. Behold master! Black Thorn!", Belvera announced with pride. Biollante's clone looked a lot more vicious than her template. True to he name, she had long black hair as opposed to short green hair. Thorns seemed to protrude from her skin, and in place of Biollante's regular teeth were fangs. Vines with thorns seemed to curl around her forearms. She looked like her template's polar opposite.
"Excellent work Belvera! Tomorrow, let's see how well she can handle destroying the kaiju rangers!", Ghidorah said with a sneer.
The next day, Biollante enrolled in CHS and began her first day. As soon as first period had ended, she spotted her nephews in the hallway and decided to surprise them. "Xeni! Junior! I can't believe how you two have grown!"
Xenilla was both shocked and ecstatic to see his aunt was alive and well, "Aunt Biollante? I can't believe it! But, how are you here? And why do you look our age?"
"Nice to meet you at last auntie!", Junior said with a warm smile.
"Nice to meet you my other nephew. As for how I look in my teens, it was a side effect of separating my core from my body.", Biollante said, "It's nice to know I still have family besides my dearly departed brother. Please, tell me what you've been up to."
Xenilla and Junior told her about how Ghidorah had been attacking the city, and how they were rangers. And how they had been recently involved in relationships. Biollante smiled, "You two are just like your father. Always being heroes and total ladies' men!", she said with a giggle.
Xen and Junior only blushed at the last part, but were snapped back to the present when their communicators went off. "Junior! Xenilla! Ghidorah's sent a new mutant to attack the city! We need you and the other rangers now!", Moll and Lora said.
"On it! Sorry auntie, but duty calls! Come on Xen!", Junior said as he and Xenilla gathered the other rangers.
Biollante had other ideas, and tailed them so she could get a chance for some action too. When the rangers arrived, Junior and Xenilla were shocked to see what looked like an evil version of their aunt! Destoroyah broke them out of their freeze-up, "Don't hold anything back you two! She's nothing like Biollante! All this thing is, is some twisted clone King Ghidorah made of her!". The two brothers nodded, and led the rangers into battle!
Biollante's dark clone had a savage smile on her face, as she started firing a storm of thorns at the rangers. Black Thorn caught Anguirus off guard by tripping him with one of her vines. She then started using her vines as whips, keeping the rangers at bay. Black Thorn then shot a stream of acid sap to knock Rodan out of the sky.
"Let's see how you like it when I turn up the heat!", Rodan cried as he fired his heat beams from his wrist blasters. As soon as they hit Black Thorn, she writhed in pain as she withered slightly from the heat. This gave Rodan an idea, "Guys! Use beam weapons! She can't handle heat!", he cried. Junior and Xenilla then summoned their blasters and swords.
Black Thorn then began to spin until she became a tornado of vines and thorns! Junior and Xen used their swords to cut her vines and block the thorns she shot at them. With her defenses crumbled, Xen and Junior charged up their blasters and fired twin charged shots at Black Thorn. "Jackpot!", they said in unison as the blast blew up the dark clone. However, the fight wasn't over! Black Thorn's core survived and reformed into an even more monstrous form than her last one, and began firing an even stronger stream of acid sap. Then Biollante stepped in, and blocked the deadly stream with a vine barrier.
"Don't you know it's rude to spit at people?", she shouted as she summoned vines to wrap Black Thorn's mouth shut. Biollante then summoned more vines to bind Black Thorn in place.
"Way to wrap it up Biollante!", Destoroyah cheered.
King Ghidorah refused to have it end this way, "Fire the potion bomb! Let's see them try to whack this weed!"
Black Thorn then grew to enormous size and began her assault on the city anew! The rangers then summoned and formed their megazords. Both megazords tried to get a lock on Black Thorn, but she was too fast because she could go underground and reappear anywhere beneath their feet. The rangers then tried to take to the air, but Black Thorn knocked them back down to Earth with her vines. Most troublesome was the constant volley of thorns that kept them from getting any closer. Seeing how the battle was faring, Biollante summoned a rain of petals that seemed to slow down Black Thorn. The scent from the petals seemed to paralyze Black Thorn, giving the rangers a chance to finish her off. Junior then charged the kaiju megazord's power sword, causing it to be wrapped in a blue flame. "Atomic Inferno Strike!", Junior yelled as he unleashed a powerful series of slashes that destroyed Black Thorn's core. The resulting damage caused her to wilt and shrivel into dust.
"Now THAT'S how you get rid of weeds!", Biollante cheered. Then she and the rangers returned to CHS, and continued the rest of the schoolday. When Biollante went home with Big Mac, Rose jumped happily into her arms. "I missed you too girl!", Biollante giggled as Rose licked her face.
"Uh..Biollante?", Big Mac asked nervously.
"Yes?", she asked.
Big Mac then pulled out a rose from his back pocket, "Would you go out with me? I've kinda taken a likin' to ya, and I was wonderin' if.."
Biollante interrupted him with a full-on kiss on the mouth and used his signature line, "Eeeyup!", she said with a smile as she put the flower into her hair. Big Mac smiled as they embraced. 'Looks like Ah've found my dream girl!', he thought happily.
Cold, empty darkness. It was all Mechagodzilla could remember after he literally fell apart after his last battle with the kaiju rangers. Fortunately, Belvera hadn't given up on her mechanical menace, and constructed him a new body. One with more weapons, and a sleeker appearance instead of the clunky scrap heap that was his last form. Now he was reborn as Super Mechagodzilla! And soon, the rangers would fall before his mechanized might!
Back on Earth, CHS was a buzz of conversation about the newest students that had just enrolled. The two new students were robots created by scientists all the way in Japan! Though they were machines, they could think and feel just like any other person on the planet.
The first mech had yellow on his shoulders, kneecaps, and the back of his palms; red on the outside of his forearms, his chest, sides, and on his lower legs; and blue around his neck and on his ankles. His eyes were an electric blue. "Hi! I'm Jet! Nice to meet all of you!", he greeted warmly.
The next robot looked a bit more fierce. He was mostly silver save for two red markings on his face, and his yellow optics. "Name's Kiryu.", he said flatly.
All the students were pretty welcoming of them, but none more so than the rangers and the Main 7.
Twilight could barely contain herself, "What kind of metal are you made of? What CPU do you run on? What's your power source?"
Rainbow Dash decided to step in before she overloaded the poor mechs, but also decided to ask a few questions herself. Just less scientific, "You guys look awesome! Like something out of a Japanese super hero cartoon! Can you fly? Do you have rocket-powered fists? Can you shoot lasers from you eyes? Do you transform into awesome vehicles?"
"Okay Rainbow, someone's been watching WAY too much anime.", Junior said, "Sorry about that you two."
"It's all good dude.", Jet replied, "You and all yours friends seem pretty cool! We'll have to hang out some time! What do you say Kiryu?"
"Jet, we're fully assembled machines. You don't need my permission. Besides, we could use some friendly faces besides our makers.", Kiryu said with a cheerful tone.
The rangers and the Main 7, went about the rest of their day with their new robo-buddies. That is, until the rangers' communicators went off. "Rangers! We've detected a robotic energy signature! It looks like Mechagodzilla got an upgrade since the last time you sent him to the scrap heap!", Moll and Lora said.
"Don't worry, we're on it!", Junior said as he and the other rangers went to teleport to the scene of the attack. Little did he know, he had been followed and observed.
"Looks like we're going to see some action sooner than we thought. Huh Kiryu?", Jet said.
"We'd better get going then. After all, you did want to meet the kaiju rangers in person didn't you?", Kiryu said.
Meanwhile the rangers came face to face with the new and improved Mechagodzilla. "Ah, I've been waiting for this moment rangers! Now with my new firepower, I'll send you all to the big scrap yard in the sky!", he cried as he fired a barrage of finger missiles at the rangers.
The rangers dodged, and then summoned their weapons. "Alright bolt brain!", Rodan yelled, "Let's see if you can shoot me down!", he cried as he took to the air and a dive-bomb at Mechagodzilla with his forearm blades! Destoroyah also took to the air and fired energy waves from her katana. Mechagodzilla then leaped into the air, and called on his jetpack and combined with it to give himself extra firepower and aerial support. He shot Rodan and Destoroyah down with a blast from his new jetpack cannons! Mechagodzilla then made several dive-bomb runs at the other rangers while shooting lasers from his eyes and mouth.
Lea powered up into her giga form and charged at Mechagodzilla, but he caught her off guard when he launched capture cables from his arms and sent shocks down them to knock her out! Junior then rushed him from behind and landed some hits with his blaster and at least one slash with his sword. Unfortunately, Mechagodzilla turned his torso around and caught Junior in a grapple! The sinister mecha then began to charge his plasma grenade, and at this range the blast would destroy him and Junior! Xenilla fired his corona blaster, Gamera let loose a barrage of fireballs his fireball cannon, and Anguirus launched wave after wave of blasts from his sonic cannon! The three of them hoped their onslaught would distract Mechagodzilla long enough to release Junior! Mechagodzilla suffered minimal damage, and responded in kind by firing a flurry of lasers from his eyes at them! Things seemed bleak, until the despair was broken by a shout!
"ROCKET PUNCH!", Jet screamed as he launched his forearm at Mechagodzilla, catching the mechanical menace by surprise long enough for Junior to escape. Jet wasn't finished with his assault yet, "PHOTON CANNON!", he cried as his left arm converted into a cannon that shot a powerful blast that knocked Mechagodzilla down! Kiryu landed soon, armed to the teeth with his weaponized jetpack and forearm-mounted laser cannons.
Mechagodzilla took note of the odds, and tried to reason with his fellow machines, "Hey guys, we're all sentient 'bots aren't we? Join me, and King Ghidorah will reward us with a city made solely for us mecha!"
"No thanks! We exist to protect this planet from villains like you who try to hurt innocent people!", Kiryu shouted in defiance, "Take this! All Out Assault!", Kiryu screamed as he fired a volley of rockets from his jetpack, and followed up with a barrage from his wrist-mounted laser cannons and finished it up with a maser bolt from his eyes!
King Ghidorah took note of his "improved" robot getting its' chassis kicked by the combined power of the rangers and the two heroic robots. "Time to see what Mechagodzilla can do with another upgrade! Potion Bomb!", he cried as he launched a potion bomb to enlarge his mechanical menace!
The rangers summoned their megazords, and the battle began anew! But then, Jet and Kiryu displayed an unknown ability. The two heroic mecha grew to the size of the megazords and joined in the fight! Jet managed to put one of Mechagodzilla's eye lasers out with a well placed kick to the face! Xen and Destoroyah's megazord sliced off one of his jetpack cannons with one swipe of their sword! Enraged from his decrease in firepower, Mechagodzilla fired his plasma grenade at the megazord Junior, Anguirus, Rodan, and Gamera were piloting! But Gamera blocked it with his shell shield! Kiryu took the chance to end the fight, and fired the absolute zero cannon from his chest, freezing Mechagodzilla solid. Unsheathing his energy wrist blades, he sliced Mechagodzilla to bits!
After school was out, Pinkie threw the two mecha a party to welcome them to CHS. Everyone laughed as Rodan and Jet both did the robot dance. However, no one expected Kiryu to be bouncing off the walls from having too much punch. It took almost all of them to get him to power down! Once the party was over the rangers, the mechas, and the main 7 headed home. It was a long day, and they all needed to recharge their batteries.
King Ghidorah was panicking. he searched every inch of his ship, and found nothing. No spare robots, no rogue mutants, and all of his trilopods were destroyed when he sent them all at once during his arrival to Earth. "This...isn't possible. I've run out of minions!", King Ghidorah cried as went back to his throne and sulked, "What now? I can't wage an all out attack now that I've run out of minions!"
Belvera took note of her master's deflated state, "Master, why not destroy the rangers yourself? You almost did it before, why not try again?"
"Yes...yes I can see it now! A final battle that will end in my glorious triumph! The kaiju rangers will fall by my hand!", Ghidorah boasted as he envisioned his victory.
Back on Earth, the rangers and the Main 7 were enjoying the relative peace and quiet. No mutants trashing the city, no aliens trying to blow up buildings, no robots going on a rampage. Xenilla smiled, "Yep, looks like a good day!"
Junior was a bit cautious though, "Uh, Xen? You sure saying that isn't gonna jinx us? We took down all of King Ghidorah's monsters. What's to stop the big bad space tyrant from coming down to Earth and trying to waste us himself?!"
Xenilla laughed it off, "Junior, did you forget you can go super mode now? You could beat Ghidorah all on your own! Besides even if he does transform or grow huge, we've got three megazords!"
With his worries put to rest, Junior decided to focus on school. Towards the end of the day, it looked like nothing would happen. However, this was not be when Junior's communicator went off. "Moll, Lora, what's up ?"
"It's King Ghidorah! He's come down to Earth and is currently tearing up the city!"
"Sounds like he wants to finish this. Alright then! We're on our way", Junior said as he and the other rangers teleported to their final battle. Once they morphed, they made their way to King Ghidorah's location. The space monster was waiting for them.
"Just as I thought. I thrash your home, and you come running.", King Ghidorah said with an evil smirk.
"Let's finish this you big bully! Come on guys! Hit him with everything you have!", Junior cried out.
Lea powered up to her giga mode, and used some of her magic to bind King Ghidorah in place. This gave Rodan and Destoroyah the perfect chance to fire a bombardment of energy blasts from their blaster and dive-bomb runs with their swords. Rodan even managed to destroy one of his dragon head weapons with a well-timed shockwave clap from his suit's wings, while Destoroyah tore a hole in one of Ghidorah's wings with her sword. Lea fired a prism energy blast from her hands, while Anguirus and Gamera fired blasts from their cannons. Gamera got bold and performed a shield bash right to Ghidorah's face, while Anguirus rushed up and pulled off an uppercut right to Ghidorah's jaw! Enraged, King Ghidorah used his energy to break the seal Lea used to bind him and fired a rain of gravity beams striking all of the rangers at once! The resulting damaged forced everyone but Junior and Xenilla to power down. Knowing that it came to just themselves and Ghidorah, the brothers charged forth with their weapons drawn! Xenilla fired a wave of crystal shards, and followed up with a series of shots from his corona blaster and quick strikes from his crystal saber! Junior continued the onslaught with a charged shot from his atomic flame blaster, and a powered up slash from his atomic flame saber! As King Ghidorah was on his last legs, he released a shockwave of energy! Junior and Xenilla countered this by firing off twin charged shots from their blasters, cancelling it out!
Infuriated by how badly he was being defeated by only two rangers, Ghidorah resorted to his most underhanded tactic and began to absorb Belvera's life energy. "Master...why?", she asked in horror.
"Simple. You are nothing to me. Did you honestly think I cared for any of minions? All they are to me are tools! Just. Likel. You.", the tyrant said with a cold smile as he completely drained her, causing her to fade away.
"You heartless...soulless...MONSTER!", Junior cried in rage, "You spare no one from your evil! Not even your own minions! You've caused senseless pain for others, just for your own sick enjoyment! No more! I won't let you hurt anyone else! ", Junior then unleashed a furious battle cry and transformed into his super mode!
King Ghidorah could barely prepare himself for what was heading his way. Junior unleashed an uppercut so fast and powerful, it knocked him into the air! Junior then continued his attack with a barrage of energy blasts from his hands, and a kick to the head that knocked Ghidorah back down to the ground. Ghidorah then summoned his sword, and charged forth in fury to try and strike Junior down! Junior summoned his new sword, the nova saber, and blocked each of Ghidorah's frenzied swings! Taking advantage of Ghidorah' enraged state, Junior summoned his new nova blaster and snuck in a quick charged shot!
"Impossible! None of the lone warriors I've destroyed could defeat me alone, so how could you?!", Ghidorah snarled!
"Because I'm never alone! I've got friends who are there to stick with me every step of the way, and are willing to stand with me no matter what! People I love, and will risk everything to protect! You've got nobody to fight for but yourself, that's why you've lost! Surrender!"
"Never....NEVER!", Ghidorah howled as he charged his sword with energy for one final attack!
However, he would never get his chance as Junior rushed him and landed a critical hit with his nova saber! Junior then finished the fight with a charged shot from his nova blaster, "ULTIMATE NOVA BLAST!", he screamed as the blast destroyed King Ghidorah on impact! When the dust cleared, Junior stood triumphant! The other rangers quickly recovered and re-morphed. The people of the city cheered for their heroes, and celebrated that the menace of King Ghidorah was over! Satisfied with their work, the rangers teleported back to school and powered down.
Back at CHS, Pinkie Pie pushed the idea for a party to celebrate the rangers' saving the world. Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna were in full agreement! Later that night, CHS was a buzz full of excitement as the students partied hard! Rodan busted out his best moves with Applejack on the dance floor. Anguirus and Rarity slow danced with each other. Rainbow Dash and Gamera had a punch drinking contest, but both of them lost when Pinkie drank the whole bowl! Destoroyah was trying her best to keep up with the crusaders. Blade Dancer caught Xenilla off guard with a kiss on the cheek, and dragged him to the dance floor. Lea, Twilight, and Fluttershy were making their best effort to bust a move without looking like fools. Sunset took all this in and turned to Junior, "I don't think there's anyway this night could be better.", she said with a smile
"Oh...I wouldn't be too sure about that.", Junior said with a grin.
"What do you have planned?"
"You're about to find out!", Junior said with a wink as he, Anguirus, Rodan, Xenilla, and Lea made their way to the stage. Anguirus went to the drums, Rodan picked up the bass while Xenilla picked up the guitar, and Lea went to the key board. "ALRIGHT CHS! YOU READY TO ROCK?", Junior yelled as the crowd cheered and he and his friends began to play.

After they were done performing, Junior went over to Sunset and pulled her into a hug. The two shared a kiss, and danced the rest of the night away! Both of them smiled, knowing things would only get better, "Best night ever.", Sunset said.
